I'm using a NUCLEO-H743ZI2 board and following the examples in Ux_Device_CDC_ACM targeting H723 and Ux_Device_HID_CDC_ACM targeting H747, but no data ever comes in and fails to match the "ux_utility_memory_compare" function in "usbx_cdc_acm_read_thread_entry". I can't seem to find where the interface is, and why the API as is isn't working. /* Get Data interface */ data_interface = device->ux_slave_device_first_interface->ux_slave_interface_next_interface;   /* Compares two memory blocks ux_slave_class_name and _ux_system_slave_class_cdc_acm_name */ ux_status = ux_utility_memory_compare(data_interface->ux_slave_interface_class->ux_slave_class_name, _ux_system_slave_class_cdc_acm_name, ux_utility_string_length_get(_ux_system_slave_class_cdc_acm_name));   /* Check Compares success - Always fails this check */ if (ux_status == UX_SUCCESS)The USB port registers on my computer and I can see baud rate change request call-backs to "ux_app_parameters_change", but t

Hello TouchGFX team,I migrated my project from 4.18.1 to 4.20.0., added some dynamic graphics handling and now I get a linker error when building the project:xProML_TFT\xProML_TFT.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol touchgfx::paint::rgb888::lineFromColor(unsigned char*, unsigned, unsigned, unsigned char) (referred from painterrgb888.o).xProML_TFT\xProML_TFT.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol touchgfx::paint::rgb888::tearDown() (referred from painterrgb888.o).Not enough information to list image symbols. Not enough information to list load addresses in the image map.Finished: 2 information, 0 warning and 2 error messages."xProML_TFT\xProML_TFT.axf" - 2 Error(s), 0 Warning(s).I tracked the file painterrgb888.cpp and see a big difference between the version from 4.18.1 and 4.20.0. As this is a part of the framework (widget / canvas), I don't dare to copy the file from the old version to version 4.20.0.How can I fix this??? What is wrong ? Any help is very much appreciated. Hi,currently I can't open any .ioc file which hasn't been previously created with my computer. There's no problem if I open an .ioc file inside CubeIDE, but, when I want to use VS Code I need to open the .ioc file using just CubeMX.If I open an .ioc file with CubeMX, the program brings me the startup page. Whether I try to load a project directly from CubeMX, I can't navigate through the folders because, even in the Desktop folder the file navigator shows me an empty space.Does anyone have my same problem, with MacOS?

Hi guys,I have a stm32h7b3i-dk board here and have been struggling with i2s for 5 days. Can't get any further myself and have to ask for help.I attached the project. Can someone please take a look? The problem:1.HAL_I2S_TxCpltCallback is never called.2.Of course, I2S doesn't work.I've tried everything possible, now create a new project. It must have something to do with DMA... But I can't find the error.Best regards and thank you in advance

My STM32F469I-DISCO does not fully initialize when I enable DAC1 and DAC2 on a new TouchGFX 4.20.0 project. If I don't use TouchGFX, but just the latest version of STMCubeIDE (1.1) then everything works fine. What am I missing here? I've been able to use the DACs and TouchGFX on this development board in the past.

I am designing a line-following robot that also avoids various obstacles (two digital infrared (IR) sensors), but I am a bit confused with my schematic since I am a beginner in electronics, and that is why I would like to know if my schematic is correct and if it is going to work. The robot's board utilizes two TB6612FNG BY TOSHIBA dual motor drivers modified in order to control one motor instead of two hence my robot has two individual motors. Furthermore, it uses the STM32F103C8T6 MCU. You can see details of the schematic in the image and the PDF file as well. Constructive criticism is accepted! Any answer is greatly appreciated!!!

This can be reproduced by starting a new CubeMX project using reference MCU STM32L4P5ZGTx and firmware package STM32Cube FW_L4 V1.17.0. Start by enabling SDMMC2 (4 bit wide bus mode) and FATFS (SD card mode with SDMMC instance set to SDMMC2, any GPIO pin will do for platform setting). Anyone have an idea for a work around or if this will be fixed on CubeMX? I'm attaching my .ioc for completeness.

Hplip is only 3.19.12, and there is no higher version.

Hello!I'm trying to create a USB composite device with 2 registered classes DFU and CDC ACM, using USBX middleware on stm32u585 mcu.I was going through those two examples on git:STM32CubeU5/Projects/B-U585I-IOT02A/Applications/USBX/Ux_Device_DFU/STM32CubeU5/Projects/B-U585I-IOT02A/Applications/USBX/Ux_Device_HID_CDC_ACM/Both examples work as expected when running separately. As a starting point I used Ux_Device_DFU example and started copying CDC ACM part into my project. DFU and CDC ACM device classes are successfully registered using ux_device_stack_class_register function. However when HAL_PCD_Start is called only DFU class is visible in device manager on PC. I have noticed that in function MX_USB_Device_Init there are functions HAL_PCDEx_SetRxFiFo and HAL_PCDEx_SetTxFiFo being called and I do not understand how and which endpoints should be configured. I'm thinking this could be the case that CDC ACM class is not visible in device manager.I was hoping if someone could help me out on

I'm looking for the .bin file that comes pre-programmed on the board. Anyone know where I can find it? The .zip file on the product page appears to be for a different board/project and also only contains a .hex file. Also if there is source code is available for the project that would be helpful too. Thanks!

I am a beginner and I do according to this video "External Qaspi Loader How to - 05 - Qspi Driver Coding" https://youtu.be/XqCq0xtQmbI I uploaded the project "EXTERNAL QSPI Loader" to stm and now question about .bin fileHow to create a data file to be stored in the Flash memory, which can be a binary file or .hex? For example, I have a project "Hello World" and I want to upload it to external QSPI memory.I need as usual to create a project "Hello world" and just indicate in the stm32CubeIDE settings to create a .bin Or I need to make some additional settings for my "Hello world" project like, MPU configuration!?!And the resulting file, to program Quad-SPI Flash memory using the ST-LINK utility...

I would like, if possible to use the 64 pin package in my design. The problem is that I need a CAN bus and would like to program the chip straight from USB (with potentially needed level shifting?) with the DFU I've heard so much about. I can move CAN_RX to PB8 which is the boot0 pin, but how would that work? Would I need to jumper between the hardware for setting boot0 and the can_rx line from the transceiver? Or do I need to move up to the 80 pin package where CAN_RX /TX have PD0/1 almost entirely to themselves? I guess I'm mostly confused on how the boot0 pin works, it seems to have a lot of alternative uses that hinder its use as a boot selector pin. Like, if there's data coming into the CAN_RX and the MCU turns on at that time and sees a logic high will it think "better go load the program over USB"?

I have a NUCLEO-F302R8 that I am trying to configure via the Workbench, but there are only 5 control boards shown in the new project setup screen:NUCLEO-G071RBNUCLEO-G431RBNUCLEO-G474RESTM32G081B-EVALSTM32G474E-EVALThats not a lot of options, so what am I missing to get support for all the other micros?

I have tried to generate a new project using STM32CubeIDE from scratch (fw V1.27.0, no way to modify it[!!!]) but it does not compile.A lot of descriptors are missing, like there is no resolution for the following:ETH_TxPacketConfig TxConfig; ETH_DMADescTypeDef DMARxDscrTab[ETH_RX_DESC_CNT]; /* Ethernet Rx DMA Descriptors */ ETH_DMADescTypeDef DMATxDscrTab[ETH_TX_DESC_CNT]; /* Ethernet Tx DMA Descriptors */No ETH_TxPacketConfig and ETH_RX_DESC_CNT and ETH_TX_DESC_CNT defined anywhere. Also, there is no HAL_ETH_RMII_MODE defined (for example) anywhere and if I try to resolve these issues, it reveals:ETH_InitTypeDef does not have TxDesc and RxDesc and RxBuffLen members, so practically ethernet layer is completely messed up.

Hello community,Warning, when gerating code for STM32G0B with FW_1.5.0, DMA init function is called after USART2 init function. So the DMA doesn't works !!The only way to resolve this i have found is to cut/paste function in the good order ^^Report the bug if you know how to do that.Have à good day,Thomas.

I'm trying to port the NFC-RFAL library to a smaller Arduino based MCU. I need an extremely minimal setup for retrieving UIDs from ISO15693 tags, so I'm getting rid of 50-80% of the state machines and structures, the whole analogConfig module, maybe anti-collision if I can, etc.In the library, we often call rfalSetAnalogConfig() to set a bunch of registers using a look-up table. Here's a list of calls I might need that I found, scattered across the library.rfalSetAnalogConfig((RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_CHIP | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_CHIP_INIT)); rfalSetAnalogConfig((RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_POLL | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_NFCV | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_BITRATE_COMMON | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TX)); rfalSetAnalogConfig((RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_POLL | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_NFCV | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_BITRATE_COMMON | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_RX)); rfalSetAnalogConfig((RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_CHIP | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_CHIP_POLL_COMMON)); rfalSetAnalogConfig((rfalAnalogConfigId)(RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_POLL | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_

After upgrading from TouchGFX 4.19.1 to 4.20.0 the TouchController (and maybe also GPIO) does not work anymore. The reason is, that now (after device configuration tool code generation or TouchGFX update) our user code in all files in the directory "target" disappeared. During migration it could be selected do keep the user code - the user code in main.c was kept.Before:/* USER CODE BEGIN STM32TouchController */#include <STM32TouchController.hpp>#include "touch.h"extern I2C_HandleTypeDef hi2c3;extern TS_Driver_t ts_driver;TS_State_t state;void STM32TouchController::init(){  /**   * Initialize touch controller and driver   *   */ ts_driver.Init(); ts_driver.GetFWVersion(&hi2c3,state.fw_version); ts_driver.GetModelName(&hi2c3,state.model_name);}----------------------------Now:/* USER CODE BEGIN STM32TouchController */#include <STM32TouchController.hpp>void STM32TouchController::init(){  /**  &nb

Hello,I am trying to use the LPTIM1 as a timeout counter of 5s. Each timeout the device would read a measured value from a sensor and send it by uplink.I want to trigger the LPTIM1 by software, but I do not know how to do this. This is probably a newbie question: how do I generate the software trigger? I though I would need to write in a register or something, but I can not find the solution. Thanks in advance!

We are developing RFID reader with ST25R3916. As design reference and parts selection, I wonder if we can get the schematic and BOM of ST25R3916-EMVCO. best regardsDai Sai
