I have a situation where I use all I/O on an STM32L476RG. One of the units only sends UART data, so I want to configure the LPUART for Rx Only to keep the Tx pin free as GPO.Cube has "Advanced Setting"; I've selected "Receive Only". But unless I enable the transmitter pin, Cube reports an error and refuses to generate code -> so it seems Cube ignores my Advanced Settling? How to get this fixed?STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.11.2Build: 14494_20230119_0724 (UTC)FW Package = STM32CubeFW_L4_V1.17.2

Hello, I'm using stm32h750b-dk and I created an user interface with TouchGFX. This UI gets some user inputs and evaluting some results with that inputs. Here is my question is how can I save this user inputs and some config variables to qspi flash memory ?, and is the auto-generated touchgfx stm32 project already creates the qspi interface and driver? This variables must be non-volatile if there is another method to do that I can go with that, I'm very open the suggestions.Thanks

Posted on July 20, 2017 at 06:03I made a program and it works well without UART2. I just made a simple program but nothing happend on the TX pin of the UART2.while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE *//* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */displayBuffer[0]++; updateLcd();HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, &displayBuffer[0], 1, 0xFFFF);tmp++;HAL_Delay(1000); }'updateLcd()' function is using I2C and the clock source is same of UART2, so I think the clock for UART2 works. I2C works well.TX line voltage continues hi, as idle. No data come up.I can see the TDR resistor changes the value each 1 sec, so my data is stored in TDR for sure.I tried to not use HAL_UART_Transmit() function and tried to write the data directly into the TDR like following, the result was same...huart2.Instance->TDR = displayBuffer[0];The periferal clock is 16MHz, and the UART2 setting is following./* USART2 init function */static void MX_USART2_UART_Init(void){huart2.Instance = USART2; huart2.Init.BaudRate = 9600; huart2.Ini

Hi all, i am facing a problem with stm32cubeide. i copied and paste a SDK folder to project folder and it is showing there in project directory in stm32cube ide. (refer 1.png)then i added header files paths through project > properties > c/c++ general > paths and symbols > includes (refer 1.png) i added source files through project > properties > c/c++ general > paths and symbols > source location( (refer 3.p)g)when i build the it gets successful and firmware work as per expectation.now the problem is when press F3 to jump on function definition which is defined in SDK source file , rather than going to function definition *.c cursor jumps to function declaration *.h file.for example i am calling reg_wizchip_cs_cbfunc(cs_sel, cs_desel); function from tcp_handling.c file, when i press F3 here cursor jumps function declration to wizchip_config.h files , ideally it should jump to function definition in wizchip_config.c file. (refer 4.png)if i copy SDK folder to src

I want to send data from one SPI master to an SPI slave in the same MCU. I don't have separated bards for master and slave, they are in the same board. I'm using an STM32H7 MCU with the following configuration:SPI master:SPI slave:With the following pins:MasterMISO: PA6MOSI: PD7SCK: PA5NSS (by SW): PC7SlaveMISO: PB4MOSI: PB5SCK: PB3NSS: PA4I have connected wired the pins as following, by looking at the provided table:In order to have both SPI master and slave in the same board, I have needed to use PD7 for the SPI master, which is described as an USART pin in the following table, but I'm not using the USART so I can use it for SPI. And here is my source code (I will provide only my custom code, not the one generated by CubeMX):int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */   /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(

Yesterday I was able to generate code normally using STM32CubeMX. But today I am generating code again using STM32CubeMX with a lot of undefined code. I sent the file to a friend and found that he generated the code once again using STM32CubeMX and it worked. But my computer still can't generate normal code again.

  Good morning,   I am working with the STM32MP1 and the STM32H7 and will make use of the SRAM memories for critical data. For my application and its security I need more information about the memories.   Is there any detailed description or analysis available for the SRAM memories intergrated in the MCU/MPUs of ST? Or the characterization of the memory?   Best regards, Andrés

Hello, I am testing the st25r95 with the X-nucleo-nfc03a1 attached to a nucleo-g0b1re, I am successfully running the democycle and reading nfc tags. In my application I have a limited amount of flash available (<20 Kb) and also,I only need to detect tags which have the ISO14443A (NFC-A) protocol. To reducethe amount of flash. One thing I have done (as suggested in another post “Howto minimize flash usage?) is to set in platform.h -> RFAL FEATURESCONFIGURATION -> RFAL_FEATURE_NFCV to false. That indeed reduces the flashusage, but then the communication with the st25r95 stops.With all the functions enable:RFAL_FEATURE_NFCV to false:Only initialization.Can you give some advice about how to properly deactivate the protocols I don’t need?Thank you in advance.

Hello Community,when I enable the "Shared" option when connecting with STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe software, I notice that the serial number option ("sn=<>") is completely ignored. Is this a bug? The result is that wrong MCUs are flashed during a flash operation, although a serial number is passed.Used Command:STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD shared SN=004000373039510634393838 freq=24000 -w $(BUILD_DIR)/$(TARGET).bin 0x08008000 -v mode=UR reset=HWrst

I'm not able to find a spec in the STM32F446 datasheet for minimum A/D input bias current. Does anyone know where I can find this info? I need to sample the voltage from a high resistance potentiometer and it would be handy to know if I need to buffer prior to connecting to A/D pin. Thanks!

trying to avoid through hole part, would prefer a SMD part.

I am trying to implement output capture using the LL APIs but cannot get it to blink the LED every one second on the NUCLEO board, however, I cannot get it to blink at all. I want to use MX25UM51345G on STM32L5. When configuring the Memory type, I found these two mode:001: Macronix mode, D1/D0 ordering in DTR 8-data-bit mode. Regular-command protocol insingle-, dual-, quad- and octal-SPI modes.011: Macronix RAM mode, D1/D0 ordering in DTR 8-data-bit mode. Regular-commandprotocol in single-, dual-, quad- and octal-SPI modes with dedicated address mapping.But I didn;'t found any detials about the difference between these two mode. So what is "dedicated address mapping" means? Is there any example about how to use these two mode? What kind of memory should use Macronix RAM mode?

Hello,I am working with the Nucleo Bluetooth boards (NUCLEO-F401RE + NUCLEO-IDB05A2) and I want to test some custom code I'm writing to make sure I understand how to use the X-CUBE-BLE software package. To do this, I am trying to use the ST BLE Toolbox to send a command to the Nucleo boards to turn an LED on/off. The problem is that I can't find anywhere to write anything custom on the phone. I feel like I'm missing something very obvious, but I can't find any documentation on the ST BLE Toolbox app at all.The app does detect the device and can connect to it, but I can't find out how to add any custom functionality to the app.Does anyone have either:1) Instructions on how to set up custom commands in the ST BLE Toolbox2) An easier method to test custom code with a phone?

Hi im using the ST25R3911b and the RFAL lib.With what expression can i see the Data on my Tag ?

I'm attempting to do a simple Input Capture using Timer1. I thought as a start I would generate a single 200uS pulse using a Signal Generator and use Timer1 to detect it. I can't seem to get the capture to work no matter what I do.I tried using HAL and examples from Web...No luck.I tried examples from a book I have and from the Reference Manual...No luck. Here is the code I'm currently using;// TIM1 clock enable RCC->APBENR2 |= (1 << 11);   // Configure PA8 as alt func TIM1 CH1 RCC->IOPENR = 1; GPIOA->MODER &= ~(3 << 16); GPIOA->MODER |= (2 << 16); GPIOA->AFR[1] &= ~(0x0f); GPIOA->AFR[1] |= 2;   // TI1 as input TIM1->CCMR1 |= 0x41; TIM1->SMCR |= (5 << 4) | 4; // CC1E Enable output TIM1->CCER |= 0x0b;   TIM1->CR1 |= 1;   while (1) { while(!(TIM1->SR & TIM_SR_CC1IF)){}   // Reset the Update Interrupt Flag TIM1->SR &= ~TIM_SR_UIF; }

When I use DFSDM, I configure FOSR= 256 ISOR=1 and the output is outside the range in the reference guide +-16777216
