Hi Team,Currently my Project have 2 Build variants (Managed via Manage configuration), build are placed in root directory inside Configuration name. I'm looking for below solution:To place both variants build in one common folder. To select both variants by default, currently only one is active. and also to use pre and post build to call *.bat/*.sh files.Kindly let me know how to achieve above needs. Thanks & Regards,Subramanya A

Hello, I am new to deployment of neural networks on mcu's. I am doing a speech enhancment project and want to deploy my noise classificator on my nucleo L496ZGP board. I have 0 exprience with this, how can I do tests on my custom data and (prefferebly) classify recorded sounds in real time in xcube-ai?

I cannot find this information in the NUCLEO-64 ref. manual. Do NUCLEO-64 boards generate a 5V UART TX-signal with an external 5V power supply (E5V pin)? Thank you.

Hi all,I'm trying to create a simple webpage server on a NUCLEO-H723ZG. I understand some basics, but overall I'm pretty new to all of this. So I'm starting from the LwIP Server Netconn RTOS example. If I load the default example to the board, it works great. But, after trying everything I can think of, and looking all over the internet, I cannot seem to change the homepage to my own static HTML file. I've figured out how to use the MAKEFS scripts and all that, but, assuming it compiles without errors, the default homepage does not change. I've tried different options and saving the fsdata file to different directories, but nothing works. This is for a proof-of-concept for my company's latest project, and I don't need to be an LwIP expert quite yet (maybe later). So, simple question: starting from the default LwIP Server Netconn RTOS example, and running MAKEFS script on my HTML files, how do I get them into my project so they show up? That's it: just how do I switch to a different home

I am using a Flintec TR2 board, and I want to communicate with it via my STM32 L496zg Nucleo Board. It uses I2C repeated start condition to communicate. Most of the codes I found online suggest using HAL_I2C_Mem_Read/Write functions but the user manual does not have any register addresses mentioned in the manual. Can someone guide me on this?

Hi,Bought a new STM32WB55RG development board, created a sample code on STM32CubeIDE V1.12.1, compile good in IDE. ( using Windows 10) But when download to the board by click the RUN button, it will pop up Error screen - The exception unknown software exception (0x40000015) occurred in the application at location 0x00000000000482646.Created another example code, it had the same issue.. The board connect OK to Windows PC USB. I try another code and run on Keil, it does able to download. So I think the board itself is good, only the setting of the CubeIDE issue.USB cable is only 2 feet long. Thanks idea of to fix it?thanks!

I'm working with SR6P7G7C7 and I would like to start CoreSight trace from MCU without external tools. I configured Core0 ETM and TMC ETR, but trace doesn't start. I assume the problem is in TnDCM_CR register, I am not able to set HOST_DEBUG_EN. I use the key like below:#define TnDCM_CR (*(volatile uint32_t*)(0x7100c000))   TnDCM_CR = 0xE0E05FE0; TnDCM_CR = 0x10000000;but it doesn't change the value in register.

Hi,I have ST25DV64KC and another ADC chip connected to STM32L071RZT6 on I2C1. I noticed that reading GPO1 or other registers or MB by HAL_I2C_Mem_Read_IT() fails from time to time. Completions of operations are often timeout (somehow read timeouts more often, i.e. I don't get INT in expected time).I only read static & dyn registers as well as accessing MB for r/w and tend to think that I don't handle i2c concurrent access properly.Should only function call of HAL_I2C_Mem_Read_IT() or WriteIT() be protected by mutex or I should keep it until I get INT back signalling the end of the requested operation? What should timeout be for reading of static/dyn registers or reading 256 bytes from MB? (configured i2c Fast-mode)Does competing for i2c resources task's priority matters much or elevated priority will sort it out?Could someone suggest a working approach to solve concurrent access on the i2c bus?Cheers

Stm32f334 i2c works in slave mode , select i2c kernel clock 72mhz. datasheet says it's i2c fast-mode+ support up to 1mhz, but I found that it can be accessed stably by a master with scl at 2.5mhz. Is it ok to use a master scl speed faster than 1mhz to communicate with the mcu, what's the mcu's i2c scl speed limitation as a slave ? and how "I2C timing configuration tool " can help to set the timing reg in this situation, now i set the timing reg to 0x0.

Hello everyone,I need help because i wanted to use USB VCP for communicating from my STM32 to an arduino via USB-Serial converter.I thought this MCU was good enough for that. But it seems to have a memory problem. After creating a new project and enabling the "Virtual Port Com" in "USB_DEVICE Mode and Configuration", I generate the code and compile, and get the following error:/home/luispl/st/stm32cubeide_1.12.0/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.10.3-2021.10.linux64_1.0.200.202301161003/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/10.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: emwaver_usbtest_f042.elf section `._user_heap_stack' will not fit in region `RAM'/home/luispl/st/stm32cubeide_1.12.0/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.10.3-2021.10.linux64_1.0.200.202301161003/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/10.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: region `RAM' overflowed by 376 bytescollect2: error: ld returned 1 exit statusmake: *** [makefile:

I am currently working on a motor controller project with the STM32G473RE.I am trying to get more prototype boards made but the STM32G473RE is not in stock anywhere with long lead timeI see that the STM32G474RC has plenty of stock in multiple locations and I want to port my project from the STM32G473RE to the STM32G474RC. The MCUs are entirely pin-to-pin compatible, the only difference being the STM32G474RC having half as much flash memory (which I am fine with and in fact prefer the lower cost) and the HR Timer (unused). How would I go about doing this in an effective manner?Thank you.

Hi guys! I am a newbie in the STM32 world. I am little bit curious about STM32H573xx series's TrustZone feature implementation. My question is: if I develop a firmware by enabling the TrustZone (TZEN=1) and then every time when I will write the file on flash by using ATLINK/V2 programmer - am I going to face any issue due to TrustZone activation?

I am running a STM32L412 and am trying to debug some ADC samples, this is done by saving to a dbg_ADC[2000] after ADC sampling, the program is then halted and the expressions are copied out. Currently with version 1.10.1 it crashes too often, sometimes i can copy out 1000 samples and other times i can copy out just a few hundred before crashing and need to restart the program, this happens on all PCs. So the question is, is there a better way to save expressions/variables/ADC samples to a file for later analysis?

Hello community,I am exploring STM32G0C1xC for use in our low-cost Data Acquisition system interfacing it with SD-Card for data storage application. I would like to know if someone has first-hand experience in implementing USB OTG-based transfer from MCU to Smartphones (That support USB OTG).Here is the datasheet. The issue is it is not clearly mentioned in the datasheet about the USB OTG support, whereas some other MCUs have clearly written descriptions of the USB OTG in the specifications.Any guidance and observation-based insights would be of great help, thanks in advance!

Hi,I am trying to simulate the behavior of different STM32 MCUs to see which unit meets my expectations for an object detection task.I was wondering if there is a way to simulate their behavior on object detection problems with tflite model + validation dataset given? If so, can you help me about it? Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello everyone, I am trying to read adc value from microphone. I am using FFT to get 100 Hz to 2 kHz or more to detect tone. In my project, I can use dma for get adc value and then I use DSP CMSIS. I can do this with my new workspace (with out anything only ADC-DMA) but when I try to implement this on Ping Pong Application I am struggling. I am beginner of stm32 and I can't find any video or blog about adding ADC sensor on stm32wl. As I say, I did all of things but I can't add ADC pooling or ADC DMA method on Ping Pong Application. I try to add adc_if.c, adc_if.h, sys_app.c,sys_app.h but I couldn't manage it.I found adc.c and I configure it for Pool method, I only made continous cov mode enable.hadc.Init.ContinuousConvMode = ENABLE;and other files (adc.c etc.) I try to add these (I am using IN0 of ADC. So it is ADC_CHANNEL_0:static uint32_t ADC_ReadMicData(uint32_t channel) { uint32_t ADCxConvertedValues = 0; ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; MX_ADC_Init(); /* Configu

Hello everybody! Sorry, I am a pianist and know very little about engineering, so I most probably will use a naïve terminology, please bear with me.The thing is I use built-in 12-bit DAC in order to generate a simple sine wave. The frequency is a bout 40hz. Now, from what little I know, it seems that both the bit depth and sampling rate determine how large "gaps" between two adjacent values of the resulting sine will be. The larger the bit depth, the smaller the gap (smoother wave), the greater sampling rate - also the smoother wave. So both, the bit depth and sampling rate determine the smoothness of the resulting wave. My question is, while I cannot adjust the bit depth (let's not mention dithering at this point), I definitely can vary sampling rate. What would be the optimal oversampling ratio for generating a smooth 40hz sine? Could someone please explain the concept in a nut-shell, if possible? Thank you!

Hi community, I am working on CRC generation with polynomial 0x8005 and initial value 0x0000, so I configured it as belowI am using the data as shown below and the CRC should be 0x43B8 but the value got from the API is different. So I am missing something.uint32_t bufer[] = { 0x23, 0x41, 0x54, 0x4F, 0x4E, 0xFF, 0x53, 0x4C, 0x30, 0x43, 0x55, 0x52, 0xFF, 0x0A, 0x30, 0x31, 0x32, 0x33, 0x34, 0x35, 0x36, 0x37, 0x38, 0x39 }; uint32_t crc = HAL_CRC_Calculate(&hcrc, bufer, sizeof(bufer));I appreciate your input.

Hi,I'm new to the STM32 ecosystem. Before I installed anything I was reading about the tools (STM32cubeIDE, STM32cubeMX, STM32cubeH7, etc) and I read that there is a buit-in version of cubeMX in cubeIDE so I didn't install the standalone cubeMX. CubeMX for cubeIDE was dowbloaded when I first created a project for the Nucleo-H745 demo board in cubeIDE. I think it also downloaded cubeH7. Each was big ... like 1GB in size. Do I need to install the stanalone version of cubeMX? I'm wondering purely about functionality. I understand that some people may prefer the standalone tool for whaever reasons but I'm more interested in functionality. Can the standalone cubeMX do something the built-in version can not? Take into account how new I am please. I rather don't install the standalone cubeMX tool just because of some advance option I don't need right now. Just to be clear, I'm new to STM32 not to MCUs. Thanks

Hello all, I don't know why but my MCU STM32F303CCT6 don't work with external crystal, below schematics:The used crystal is ABM3B-8.000MHZ-10-1-U-T with load capacitors 10pF. Later I find in STM Datasheet that I should use resistor on OSC32_OUT pin. Is the resistor necessary to work? Or maybe i use wrong crystal? Thanks a lot for help to solve my problem :)

Hey there, I am working with a custom board based on an OSD32MP157F SoM. The pinout is very similar with the DK2 board with some minor differences, mainly the DSI_RESET pin. I have done several tests on STM32MP157f-dk2 boards with an eDP display that connects through a MIPI/eDP bridge to the DSI port of the DK. This works fine for a while now. In the custom board I do not have included any ltdc peripheral as I thought that it is not needed for driving the DSI bridge. I made a new image with the corresponding pinout and the bridge i2c driver initializes normally as seen in the bootlog.
