My application uses an sx1262 LoRa sub GHz transceiver. I need an MCU which has very low power consumption as well as high performance efficiency. In that case which option will be the best? Is it to choose a lower power series MCU and add an extra transceiver or use STM32WLE5x MCU which has an inbuilt transceiver?

Hello,Looking over the STSpin implementation of the Clarke Park transforms and SVM has raised some questions about the derivation of the transform. Typically the the Clarke Transform takes the form of:𝐼𝛼=𝐼𝑎𝐼𝛽=1√3(𝐼𝑎+2𝐼𝑏STSpin's implementation effectively rotates the Beta component by 180 degrees with a sign flip:𝐼𝛼=𝐼𝑎𝐼𝛽= -1√3(𝐼𝑎+2𝐼𝑏)Next, the Park transform usually takes the form of:𝐼𝑑=𝐼𝛼∗cos(𝜃)+ 𝐼𝛽∗sin(𝜃)𝐼𝑞=𝐼𝛽∗cos(𝜃)−𝐼𝛼∗sin(𝜃)Where as STSpin seems to rotate each dq component by 90 degrees by using the opposite trigonometric functions on the alpha/beta vectors 𝐼𝑑=𝐼𝛼∗sin(𝜃) + 𝐼𝛽∗cos(𝜃)𝐼𝑞=𝐼𝛼∗cos(𝜃)−𝐼𝛽∗sin(𝜃)Considering Beta is negative in the STSpin Clarke, it seems that Iq is actually equal to Id in the "correct" Park transform. Does anyone have an explanation for this?Separately, the SVM seems to be empirically 120 degrees out of phase with an SVM implementation from this paper. Is this to compensate for the different reference frame

What are the settings in the attached picture? When a can interrupt comes in, are you setting whether to receive it through core 2 or core 0?

On stm32u5xx HAL_PWREx_EnterSHUTDOWNMode will not work when a DMA is still active. The fun part is, that after a uart dma transmit, the DMA transmit enable flag is not cleared due the undocumented define  USART_DMAREQUESTS_SW_WA.What's the reason behind  USART_DMAREQUESTS_SW_WA?Is their a way to unset  USART_DMAREQUESTS_SW_WA through CubeMX?

Hi All,Microcontroller running on 2Mhz clock speed, UART is configured at 115200 baud, Transmitting is working fine but facing issue while receiving data by interrupt, UART error occurred but not showing error number(huart.error =0, NO frame error, parity error, no overrun error). If i use lower baud rate its working fine,I want to know why this behavior?

I'm currently testing an LSM6DSL Click board in Power-down mode, with both the Accelerometer and Gyroscope in Power-down mode, in order to achieve minimum current consumption. However, I've encountered a problem. When I constantly move the sensor for approximately 1 minute, the current consumption spikes up to around 200uA. On the other hand, when I place the sensor on a flat surface and keep it still, the consumption stabilizes at around 3.9uA, which is consistent with the value provided in the datasheet (3uA).I expected the current consumption of the LSM6DSL to remain the same while in motion as it is when idle. Are there any additional registers that I need to configure apart from CTRL1_XL and CTRL2_G?I would greatly appreciate any assistance!Note: I always reset the LSM6DSL by setting the SW_RESET to "1" via SPI before taking measurements.

When I enable SPE for my Spi I receive 1 byte as expected, and the RXNE flag is set. However, when I read the SPI1->DR value, it does not clear RXNE. I also noticed the OVR flag is set for some reason, even though I am reading the ->DR in the RXNE interrupt handler.I'm sure I'm missing something simple :)

Hello everyone,I'm working on STM32F401RE and I'm in the middle of designing a circuit.I have 2 questions:1- Is it possible to use the USB_DP & USB_DM (PA_11 / PA_12) pins in serial TX & RX mode in addition to the USB_DFU mode? I mean, can I physically have 2 functions on the same pin? As the USB_DFU only injects the .bin when BOOT_0 is pressed.2 Is it possible to use the BOOT_0 & BOOT_1 (BOOT_0/ PB_2) pins in IO once the MCU has started up? I specify that I use these pins to start the MCU in DFU mode?Thank you in advance for your reply.Antoine

I am looking to use ST25RU3993-HPEV kit for my project. Does the STM32L476RGT6 MCU (Which is included in kit), has ability to program with C language ? IOT? does the Antenna has ability to communicate with Arduino/ESP32 ? I2C/SPI?UART?

Editing ST25R3911B DISCO in STM32CubeIDE did not generate an error, but it cannot be read. How can ST25R3911B edit NFC in STM32Cube?

hi my software programmer is trying to set DMA on RAM, he passed the start address of the DMA RAM buffer from 0x20000000 to 0x20004100 and we got the error in the attached picture.he said that the LINKER of the CODE demands to define the pointers to the RAM, to prevent from other compiling commands takes that RAM area.the bootloader still refuses to write to RAM also in address 0x20004100 which was supposed to be accessible.please advice------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hi,According to the application note AN2606 (Cf. Table 113), the bootloader is using 20 Kbyte starting from address 0x24000000. Thusyou can only start programming at address 0x24005000 to 0x2407FFFF. We can also find at table 174 the only accessible memory addresses: 0x20004100 - 0x2001FFFF0x24005000 - 0x2407FFFF Best regards, Pape----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi.I am using STM32WL55.I set USART1 with DMA tx and DMA rx.I tried to transmit some data as follows.  printf("[*] Program Ver 0.2.0.0\r\n");  printf("\r\n");  printf("Net> ");"[*] Program Ver 0.2.0.0\r\n" and "\r\n" are transmitted.but "Net> " is displayed on terminal. If you change "Net> " to "Net> \r\n" and send it, it will be transmitted normally. What's the problem. How can I fix it.Please, let me know how to resolve the problem.Thank you.

I am developing an application on the Seeed Lora-E5 module, which contains an STM32WLE5.Currently I am programming the device via the SWD interface, but for future firmware updates I want to use the UART, (this UART is available externally through a USB-UART chip). The problem now is how to make the device switch to the internal bootloader : unfortunately the Boot0 (PH3) PIN on the STM32WLE5 is NOT made available on the package of the Seeed Lora-E5 module, so I cannot use that pin..From the AN3155 I see that the CubeMx Programmer is sending 0x7F to the UART, in order for the MCU to select the UART as programming interface. So here is my idea : after reset, I could listen to the UART for eg. 30 seconds, and if in this time a 0x7F byte arrives, jump to the bootloader. (if the 30 seconds expire, the device starts in normal operation mode).I am aware that the bootloader expects the MCU in the same state as after reset, so I will take that into account, be resetting already configured UART (

The library i'm using has simple read and write operations and i'm struggling to comprehend how the device function code works. I am simply trying to read the IC ref register. To do so,I use the device select code '0xAF - 1010 1111b - System memory reading". The start condition is included in the write operations.Question 1:I would need to send the device select code(in a buffer) to my i2c device. What address am I sending it to?Question 2The next step is to read the IC ref register (0x17). My understanding is that the address i'm reading is 0x17.So far I cant send the device select code to my device and I can't understand why. Please assist if possible.Kind regards,Hassan

Greetings, I am trying to use the USB HS (ULPI interface) on the STM32H747 board and I am struggling with it. I simply created a project via CubeMX where I configured the USB HS in Mass Storage mode but then when I connect my usb to the PC I get PC cannot recognize the device problem. What am I missing please ?Does anyone have any project examples of the USB HS working in Mass Storage mode ?Thank you.

I am currently trying to run an ML model on the STM32H7A3. The model is uploaded correctly and successfully analysed. The first issue is that when generating the code, the middleware folder which contains ST>ai (which contains ai_platform) is deleted by CubeIDE. I've had to overcome this by copying the middleware folder from an older project, as there is no way to generate it. Hopefully, ST knows about this.Anyway, when I run the model, the correct input and outputs are present. This means I can fill in the input buffer. I do not enable the use activation buffer for input buffer as shown in the screen show: When I run the model batch is returned as 1, and the error type is 17 and code 16, which means: AI_ERROR_INVALID_VALUE        = 0x17, AI_ERROR_CODE_ARRAY        = 0x0016I can't find any documentation on the error codes. I also can't seem to fix the problem as everything else works OK.Is

PMSM / ACIM emulators have been developed for the automotive industry; they emulate a motor's characteristics for inverter testing and are very accurate and high-powered (50kW+). They have electrical model cycle times of <1us and PWM frequencies of typically hundreds of kHz.Here is an example of a high-end model: Google search "E-Motor Emulator – Testing Power Electronics without Motor" (first PDF result), because I'm not allowed to add a link :)I am developing a version of this that is stripped down both in terms of power and accuracy. It is for our internal company use and needs to 'pass off' as the intended motor but not emulate the characteristics exactly. I'd be happy with a 20% deviation in most motor characteristics. I have guesstimated I need an electrical model cycle time of 2-5us; I *think* I can use one of the processors that run on the Nucleo-144.The high speed task is basically: -read 6x analogue inputs (3 voltage & 3 current), or at a push only 3 voltage.-calculate

Hello.STM32G070CI'm having some issues with the WUF flag when exiting Standby. Exit mode is set to WKUP1 (PA0).I poll the register after exiting standby and in the PWR->SR1 register, the SBF flag is set, but the WUF1 flag is cleared.I also noticed an error in RM0454 Rev 5, on page 103 in the description of exiting the mode, it says that the SBF flag is in the PWR-> CR3 register, but it is in the SR1 register.Code example.void sleep(){ RCC->APBENR1 |= RCC_APBENR1_PWREN ; PWR->CR3 = 0x8001; PWR->CR4 = 0x1; PWR->CR1 &=~ PWR_CR1_LPMS_Msk; PWR->CR1 |= 1 | (1 << 1); PWR->SCR = PWR_SCR_CSBF | PWR_SCR_CWUF1; SCB->SCR |= SCB_SCR_SLEEPDEEP_Msk; __SEV(); __WFE(); asm("nop"); __WFE(); asm("nop"); }int main(){ ClockInit(); _delay_init(); RCC->APBENR1 |= RCC_APBENR1_PWREN ; if((PWR->SR1 & (PWR_SR1_SBF)) != 0) { // I get here if((PWR->SR1& (PWR_SR1_WUF1)) != 0) { // I don't get here

Hi. I am using the st25r3916b to emulate an nfca card. This working most of the time, different readers are able to read the emulated card and the exchange behaves as expected.Sometimes the reader device sends the SLP_REQ command but I am not sure how to handle this. I try calling rfalListenSleepStart in response, but that returns a LINK_LOSS error. Not sure if I am doing something wrong.

The board connects but when I build and run the project, the light does not blink as it says it should. Also, I'm using mac, how do I import cryptolib into an existing project? I followed this instructions and this wiki but it's not working.

Hi! My name is Vincenzo.Taking a look at the two sensors, I started to believe that they are similar in terms of Architecture, more precisely it seems to me that the VL53L1 has expanded the characteristics of the VL53L1X at the expense of a slightly lower maximum ranging distance. As I feel that the Ultra Lite version of the API for VL53L1X is very useful, I would like to know if I can use it to manage the VL53L1.Thanks in advance for your supportVincenzo
