Hello,I've been trying several distributors but as of today I can't find one that can provide the new ST25TA-E NFC tag. Here is the tag I am talking about:https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/campaigns/luxury-brands-security-st25tae-z21.htmlPlease can someone help or redirect me to find a distributor of this tag ?It was supposed to be commercialized in august.Thank you very much!

Hallo,I have to question, all about netxduo.1. how to set the pool size of netxduo at the least value possible2. I need to use the mqtt client packet.  Is it necessary also to enable the arp protocol, icmp protocol, the TCP protocol, the udp protocol, create the dhcp client  and the SNTP client? Sorry but I haven't found suffcient documentation about netxduo. Thank you.Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi all. There is very little documentation, example code or tutorial information online other than this: https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/scenarios/touchgfx-on-lowcost-hardware that would lead to a fully working example of either of these two display expansion boards.  The situation is so extraordinary that my own posts in this forum show up top of the list/first in any google search on the above subject. Interfacing either of these displays to a supported Nucleo board is not the issue here.  TouchGFX makes it very easy to achieve working graphical elements on the display.  However, information for enabling the attached Joystick is scant and nowhere near thorough enough for a new user to gain the required knowledge to actually make it work.  Ironically,  low cost hardware would seem like the ideal place to start your STM learning experience and is the sole reason that I invested in them.        I'm g

HI,As I mentioned in the subject, we are using the LWIP stack for the configuration of four different IP's. The IP's got configured and the issue is while trying to ping all the four IP's the ping is happening only for the three IP's and i will share the snip below for reference's and what need to be done for the reliable ping of all four configured IP'S.So please help us regarding this. And I am working this ETH section on STM32H745 Controller.  Thanks and regards.,syed.

I am using open source lwip ethernet connection code and I am cehcking wireshark if i lose any connection. TCP ECHO parts are my true outputs but i was wondering if ARP parts means that my connection is lost and I reconnect or is it just checking gateway only. I try to stable my connection and dont want to disconnect. So what does arp broadcasts really means in that situation?Wireshark Test ss

I have been trying to run the IOT_HTTP_WebServer Demo on the B-U585I-IOT02A board, and the program seems to get stuck in an infinite loop. It will enter the app_entry() function and then reach the the line that contains if (webserver_wifi_connect() != WEBSERVER_OK), which then calls a bunch of other functions. It ends up in a function called noos_sem_wait() in the file mx_rtos_abs.c and it seems to loop infinitely. I am not sure how to debug this and any help would be appreciated.

im using stm32h743zi2 nucleo board . im triyng to do programming in ethernet with udp without freeRTOS . using firmware version of 1.10.0 but it is not pinging .  anybody  did programming with this FW  . please let me know the reasons for not ping.or send me the working code for ping. thanks

Dear all, We are very happy to announce that the new STM32H7R7/S7 graphics line is launched, offering even higher performance and memory flexibility.  The main graphics benefits are: 1: Rich graphics features: NeoChrom GPU, LTDC, JPEG Codec, Chrom-ART 2: 2x Quad or octoSPI, 1x 8/16bit Serial RAM interface at 200MHz DTR, 1x 32bit FMC for SDRAM. 3: 64Kbytes of userflash, large enough to fit your boot code, and small enough to make an impact on the price, making it the cheapest STM32H7 to date. still with 60Kbytes of SRAM.  4: MCE: on-the-fly encrypt and encrypt of your code and data.  5: Run multiple applications with one MCU.  6: Future proof your design by not running out of memory.    STM32 software and hardware tools available: Nucleo board: NUCLEO-H7S3L8 Discovery kit: STM32H7S78-DK Dedicated software package: STM32CubeH7RS X-CUBE-TOUCHGFX board support package in TouchGFX Designer Expansion packages such as X-C

can someone help me identity this component

Hi ,I need example modbus tcp-ip (server/client) Over ethernet,As i have to create Modbus tcp ip communication from scratch (develop Modbus stack for better debugging )Any one suggest where i have to start with some dev board along with some existing examples .  regardssiva

Hi Team,Currently I am working on project, in which we are using EDT Display board and project has been configured with TouchGFX. For one of our requirements, we have integrated TinyUSB. Most of the things working fine but facing one issue if USB is not connected device is not going for sleep mode. It will be remained in active mode. with USB cable connected, device is going for sleep mode after 15 mins. which is expected as for our project and that is how we configured sleep mode. I am seeking help to understand what the issue could be here? Any insights? please response. Thanks in advance .

Hi,as you can see from the screenshot below I have TIM2 clock source set to disable but the PWM is still running as configured and generates PWM. And it has been like that for the entire project for a while so I just noticed.Does the time start function automatically select the source to some default like the Internal clock? Or is that Clock source referring to something else? Just asking because I want to make sure the code is running correctly for the right configuration not because of some other settings that somehow override these.Thank you

Hi all,I am trying to implement object detection algorithm on STM32F429 - DISC1 model with MATLAB Simulink. I didn't use earlier. So, please guide to me "How to implement software into that."

Hi all,i am new to the STM MCU and i am working on project about LoRaWANi have a ST32F401 MCUall the sources and examples i found about LoRaWAN supports different modells.so i wanted to ask if theres any sources or examples that support the modell i am using.or if u have any tips i will be very happy to hear

I have a text field that's left aligned and rotated by 270 degrees so that the first character is at the bottom. If I change the language where the text is longer the first character shifts down. This is not what I expect.I expect that a text that is rotated is the same as the unrotated text, but rotated around the side of the alignment (and perhaps shifted). The problem is that the anchor point of the text is at the top left regardless of rotation, which is the right of the text when it's not rotated. So the text is effectively right aligned. For 0 and 90 degree rotation the behavior is correct.A similar effect occurs when the text is right aligned and the text is rotated by 0 degrees and the translation is longer. In that case the text extends to the right instead of the left, so it is effectively left aligned. I understand that choice. But for manually setting text using a printf function there is a TouchGFX method called resizeToCurrentTextWithAlignment() which does extend longe

Hello, customer using custom F412 based board has a problem entering STM's System bootloader/DFU for FW upgrade (done over USB) when there is an active communication done on the CAN port. E.g. the board is part of the slave HW of the CANopen network which does have its master. At least master on the network periodically sends CANopen heartbeat messages. Our idea is that such messages on CAN bus seems to disturb system boot code as the behavior we see is that reset and enter to sysboot kind of happen but nearly immediately system boot is exited and standard user/FW is booted again. When we disconnect CAN bus such behavior does not happen. The problem with the hardware is that it makes operation of disconnecting from the CAN somewhat difficult. Hence the question: Is it possible to somehow (anyhow) configure system boot/DFU to ignore CAN bus? Thanks!Karel

HI,Is there any MCUs supporting PROFINET TSN?

In our project Frontend (and Backend) how some specific meanings, hence the question. I tried just renaming the class, but the generated code (particularly, the presenters) still kept referencing FrontendApplication. Is there an option to change that name?

Hi all,Has anyone been successful in creating their own custom PCB with an STM32 and the LAN8742 PHY IC?I have followed the reference design of the nucleo-f756zg Lan8742 implementation and used a stm32f107 IC.I am struggling to understand how to use the lan8742.c driver with the Ethernetif.c file generated by LWIP in the cubeIDEIf anyone could talk me through initialisation and beyond or show a design with code where they have it working it would be much appreciated! Thanks,Joe

Hi,we are using the STM32WB microcontroller along with sleep modes – specifically, SLEEP and STOP2. When we try to enter STOP2 (or Sleep) mode, it seems like the MCU automatically checks whether it can enter this mode or not (like an automatic check to see if there is any active task that wouldn't allow low power mode). For example, if we enter Sleep mode while a TIMER is running in the background, the MCU immediately exits Sleep mode (even though no interrupt should be generated at that moment). Or are we doing something wrong, and some IRQ is waking up the MCU?Is there some kind of "protection" like this on this MCU?@STTwo-32

I'm using a STM32F469i- discovery board for developing a prototype & would like to use the Audio DAC feature in it and it is given in the datasheet that one set of pins (15 & 16 in CN12). I checked this discovery board's and also the controller's datasheet but were unable to find any information regarding the resistance of the speaker that can be connected to the pins. Will this pins(15,16 in CN12) be able to comfortably drive a 8 ohm speaker, having watt-rating less than 1 W? Would love to get some insights on this   Cheers, Have a great day

Hi,we develop a device using the STM32U545 MCU.This device will be accompanied by a desktop application (developed by us as well) which will enable our customers to interact with the device, e.g. to configure certain settings. It is a requirement that our customers are able to update the device's firmware (the firmware of the STM32U545) via our desktop application. The device's communication interface will be USB. The target OS of the desktop application is Windows.Among others, I have read AN2606, AN3156, and this post about How to jump to system bootloader from application code on STM32 microcontrollers. I have managed to jump to the STM's bootloader from application code which I verified by flashing a firmware via the bootloader's USB DFU interface using the STM32CubeProgrammer.Since we would like our customers to user our desktop application to flash the device, I would appreciate some guidance about how I can enable our desktop application to flash a firmware to the STM32U545 via

Hello,I want to control STM32mp157d-dk1 GPIO from python i tried to use libgpiod but apt-get install python3-pip not work for me

I am trying to make a music visualizer with led matrix and stm32f411 usb audio functionpreviously , i tried to use stm32f103 blue pill but the usb audio stuck and i can't find the reasonso i purchased the black pill to do it but now the problem is the fft result is always drifted and seems not accuratemy usb audio  sample rate is 48k Hzi have tried kissfft and  the fft in arm_math.h , they have similar resultfor example ,when i play a 5k Hz sound on my pc , would result in peak at around 2.5kHzand some similar peak at around 20kHzi know that some fft result will have symmetric form at with start and end of the output bufferbut i think it is not the casethe video show i do some simple math to display the fft on led matrix from 0-20000Hzthe high frequency is at left , low frequency is at rightand you can see it kind of like being symmetric but not exactly ,especially the high frequency side is low at start  i am thinking of maybe the audio data have some problemb

What is the difference between Oversampling Continued vs Resumed mode?I understand that in Oversampling Continued without resetting the accumulator in between individual samples for that channel. Resumed Mode resets it.I don't understand the implication on the final output for Scan Conversion Multi Channel Oversampled ADC. I have argued with ChatGPT for soo long. I tried looking for something in manuals but..Edit: After arguing for soo long again ChatGPT says, " channel mixing can occur in Oversampling Continued Mode if the accumulator is not reset between channels, leading to incorrect results due to leftover data from previous channels. This is the key limitation of Continued Mode when dealing with multiple channels in scan conversion"Google search returns no results for "Oversampling Continued vs Resumed mode". This post may help.
