Hello Team,We have a custom STM32H745 board designed and We are able to get the IC up and running on cube programmer and even set option bytes. The board is designed with Nucleo-H745ZI-Q schematics and we have verified everything on hardware end. When we try to program the board with a basic blink sketch following the guide (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00629855-getting-started-with-projects-based-on-dualcore-stm32h7-microcontrollers-in-stm32cubeide-stmicroelectronics.pdf) M7 gets debugged and runs. Once I start with M4 I get error messages and it bricks the controller.I have been pulling up the BOOT0 pin and performing mass erase and trying things again, still it gets bricked when I try to debug CM4.

Hello everyone,Today I'm writing to you because I'm trying to implement a PPPoS connection over the USB CDC Host of a STM32H745. The modem I'm trying to connect to is a SIM7500 of SimCom.I managed to establish the connection between the modem and the mcu because I can see in the status callback the case PPPERR_NONE.The problem is that even after establishing the connection, when I try to ping the ip that the SIM has assigned I cannot get a response. I tried to debug and I am able to see the ping received on the MCU side. It tries to respond and it but it never reaches te computer from which I sent the ping. If I'm not in PPP mode and I set up the PDP context I can ping the modem without any problem, so the ip is reachable.Any ideas how should I proceed to debug that?Thank you very much in advance  <!!!UPDATE!!!>Seems like I haven't enabled the checksum generation and checksum control for lwip and I was sending packages with a 0x0 checksum. For me worked enabling it with

Hi, I'm developing my project on a custom stm32mp135 board, baremetal. I tried to flash my FSBL into eMMC with the external loaders provided with Cube package for STM32MP13XX_CUSTOM_HW, it didn't work. Then I tried one that is provided for STM32MP135C-DK and it did work, but it only flashes SD card. My suspicion is that custom-hardware uses LPDDR3, and my board has DDR3L and that's why it fails. I can't find sources of that external loader to fix it. Are you planning on publishing it?

Hi STM Community, I want to ask if I have to Erase Flash memory sector  (HAL_FLASHEx_Erase) before I write into flash memory (HAL_FLASH_Program)?I tried it and nothing happend. I want to be sure, that is not an accident.

I have STM32 Nucleo-G0B1RE Development Board. In our application we require OSDP protocol interafce. So that's why we purchase HID SIGNO 20 Reader. Now I want to implement OSDP via RS485. So, How i implement OSDP in the STM controller. Can you please guide me. Is there any sample code or library availbale kindely share to me this would help me for developing the OSDP protocol with STM32 Nucleo-G0B1RE Development Board.

In OEMiROT_BOOT project compilation, first we are checking if the is recognized or not. Before that "Project.eww" needs to be opened and then we are creating the Project.bin binary file under EWARM. So how to do that. My purpose is to perform OTA via UART in Nucleo-H563Zi. So is there any bootloader for that or do we have create our custom bootloader.

Hello I am using an STM32G491RcT6 processor, when I connect it with ST-link to CubeProgrammer the Write Protection section of the option bytes does not appear, if I connect an STM32G491ReT6 processor it does, Document RM0440 does not seem to me to report any differences between the two microprocessors regarding this aspect. Can someone help me? Thank you

Hello everyone,I'm encountering an issue while using an external loader to program an external flash memory (MX25L6433F) on an STM32H563IGK6 board. My objective is to access this external flash (OCTOSPI1) with DFU for operations like erasing, writing, and reading, specifically to download my application into the external flash. However, when I run the command using STM32CubeProgrammer via the command line, the program loads a bootloader named "STM32H7RS-DK" instead of using my custom bootloader, which is already running on the board.I have a few questions regarding this behavior:Why does STM32CubeProgrammer choose to load this "STM32H7RS-DK" bootloader? I understand it is a secure bootloader, but I'm unclear on why it's being selected.Does this mean my custom bootloader will be ignored or replaced? What exactly does this choice of bootloader by the program mean, and how can I access my external flash (erase, write, read) while still using my own bootloader?I've attached a screenshot for

The text printed to console after running "STM32_Programmer_CLI --version" stays in bold To reproduce :STM32_Programmer_CLI --version && echo "This shouldn't be in bold" The output:        -------------------------------------------------------------------                     STM32CubeProgrammer v2.16.0        -------------------------------------------------------------------STM32CubeProgrammer version: 2.16.0This shouldn't be in bold

Hi everyone,I'm currently using an STUSB1700 as a 5V 3A power source for one of the USB ports in my project. I'm able to draw up to 2.7A with Apple devices (iPhones and iPads) on that port. Using the STUSB GUI, I can connect to the STUSB1700 via I2C and read the messages. I've looked through the datasheet for the register in the NVM but can't seem to find any that would resolve this issue. If anyone has faced the same problem and found a solution, I would greatly appreciate hearing about it. I've attached a screenshot showing what the STUSB GUI dashboard looks like when I plug in the Samsung tablet (it is written that the device is a STUSB1600A but it is a STUSB1700). For the design I've followed the recommended schematic from the datasheet, for it to advertise 5V 3A capabilities when under negotiation (RP_HIGH/RP_DEF pulled up to 5V).Thanks in advance!Ivan.

Hi,I am working on STM32F302K8 and would like to use it's CAN Bus to communicate between devices both as master and slave It is my first time using STM32CubeIDE and the HAL library and implementing CAN Bus on my work. I did use some samples scattered around the internet but I couldn't get the CAN bus working not even finishing the initialization.  I have attached my sample program with bare minimum just USART to check the sequence of the init() function and couple of GPIO outputs for the LEDs.

The new version 2.17 of STM32CubeProgrammer feels a bit glitchy. It appears something is queuing or delaying messageboxes, such that a lot of messageboxes appear after it finally succeeds with something. Or it can start many operations in the background. Something is off. But most importantly: it does not erase lock bits properly of the STM32F407Eventually it does something. But throws a lot of messageboxes on the way.Is this known?

We have a STEVAL-MKI224V1 kit, which should be equipped with a LPS22DF. I have tried to use the static (I2C) address of the sensor, and after much time, I discovered it is (depending on the state of SDO) 0x5C/0x5D, and not 0x6B/0x6A, as stated in the datasheet.Strangely (or not) 0x5C/0x5D is the static address of the LPS22HH, but according to the GETPID command, I do have a LPS22DF.Thank you.

It is really hard to read pins when editing a BGA chip.vertically or horizontally flipping will brighten the view, but keep pins in their nature position will help in PCB planning / layout.I know this has been there for years, but please consider the diversification of user habits. Thanks!

Does anyone know  what is the "PLL 1" parameter on STM32CubeMX clock tree?I am using STM32H563 Nucleo board and found that there is "PLL1" parameter. When I change this 0 to 1, SYSCLK was changed a little bit, 125 to 125.000122.I would like to know why this change happen, and found the PLL1VCOSEL.Is this bit relevant to the setting?Let me know why the change happen and what register related to "PLL1".

I have a bit of code as follows:str   r3, [r0, #68]ldr   r3, [r0, #68]where [r0, #68] is TIM20.BDTR on a STM32G474. I would expect that the LDR would output the same data that was just stored, however it seems that out outputs the previous data. I also tried putting a DMB between the two instructions but the same result still occurred. Inserting 5 DMB instructions seems to cause a long enough delay that the correct data is returned. This obviously has the potential to be problematic in a few scenarios, but I can't find any documentation from ST on this behaviour, so does anyone know if such documentation exists?

I cannot get OTG_HS to communicate with a USB host, and I'm out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The problem:I've instrumented HAL_PCD_IRQHandler to print whenever an interrupt occurs. Right after USBD_Start, I get:0x800 (USBSUSP)0x1000 (USBRST)0x2000 (ENUMDNE)It then repeats 2 then 3 a few times until the OS gives up. I do not get any other interrupts (I'm expecting at least RXFLVL after USBRST to transfer the Setup packet). Windows reports Device Descriptor Request failed. Linux reports "device descriptor read/64, error -71".Things I've tried:DMA Mode and NotData Caching universally disabledPutting hpcd_USB_OTG_HS into noncacheable memory. (Strangely, this prevents any USB interrupts from arriving for some reason)I've tried enabling Activate-VBUS. This changes the behavior (I get SRQSINT, USBRST, and that's it)I've tried initializing as PCD_SPEED_FULL instead of PCD_SPEED_HIGH with no changes.Possibly relevant details:VDD50USB is driven by VUSB at 5V, and VDD33USB is p

MPU:STM32H755XI6Connection with PC:USART1RTOS:ZephyrIn order to install Zephyr into STM32H755XIH6, if you build and burn images for M4 and M7, the M4 side will start but the M7 side will not.The content is LED flashing of PG10 (A9pin). Are there any signals that cannot be used with M4 and M7?For example, only M4 can connect to Ether, and only M7 can use SDIO.

I keep getting text I/O warning for _close, _read, _write, and _lseek even though I am not using any text I/O.  I have looked through the properties and cannot find anything.  What can I do to get rid of these?

I'm trying to find a way to get the connection status of the Zigbee Network. Our application can successfully join a network. We have also implemented persistence and are able to rejoin a previously setup Zigbee Coordinator. But I haven't found a way to tell if the local device is actually joined to the network or not. Also, I have no way to tell if the network connection has been lost or interrupted (e.g. due to weak signal).Does the Zigbee Library provide a way to register a callback or a status function to poll this information?I need to be able to detect if the local device is no longer joined to the network. Or when it is unable to find its configured network.Regards,Ozzy

Hello,I have a problem with configuring some GPIO as input for the ADC4:While they appear to be available in the documentation (and in the pop-up window associated with GPIO), the choice is grayed out in the tab associated with ADC4.I'm using STM32CubeMx version 6.13.0 (but it's the same with previous versions). Is this a bug or did I forget something?Sincerely,Jean-Louis

Good morning, I am trying to print a string on STM32F401RBT6 using vs code and Cmake, but I keep getting an issue, when I use '\n' the UART doesn't print nothing beyond the '\n', can somebody help me with this issue, please? printf("Hello\n World");

Hello,I'm facing a very strange issue with timer PWM in DMA mode.I use the PWM channel to send step pulses to a stepping motor in order to free the mcu while the motor is moving, rather than using time consuming delays. The issue raises when I change the motor speed by changing the PWM frequency.Changing the PWM frequency breaks the DMA.What I mean by breaks the DMA is that when I call the start function if (HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_DMA(THIS->timer, THIS->channel, THIS->burst_buffer, THIS->steps_burst_size) == HAL_OK){    osMessageQueueGet(THIS->sync, &_token, 0L, osWaitForever);}I always get HAL_OK, but the pulse finished callback is never called.I change the PWM frequency in a rather rogue way, by writing a new value to the ARR register.I'm sure that the issue is related to the frequency change, if I comment out the lines changing the frequency, all works well.To check wether errors are are trigerred or not, I setup a HAL_TIM_ErrorCallback, but it never
