Solved

Hi ALLI'm playing with a STM32C011J6Mx on  a plane breakout board.Sorry if this a basic question, new to using the SMT32 , last time I played with MCUs was 6809 CPU :)I wanted to use I2C and SWD, to use both I need to move the I2C1_SCL to it's alternate pin, when I CTL+ left click on the  PC15 (I2C1_SCL) it shows PA8 has an alternative. But when I select PA8 , I2C_SCL , is not listed has an alternative function. But the data sheet show it has a Alternate function on PA9, How do I activate PA9, in the MX tool? Regards, Stephen

Hello,I am currently working on integrating the Smart Presence Detection (SPD) library on a Raspberry Pi Pico.Using the programming guide, I have managed to run the SPD algorithm, but I cannot get the “Approach” state to be detected correctly— it switches to “Presence” almost immediately.I believe the key is to tune the parameters contained in the Params_t structure, but I have not been able to find detailed explanations for each field.Could you please let me know where I can find a complete description of every parameter in Params_t, or any document that explains their effect on the algorithm?Thank you for your support.

hi. i want to write a variable into stm32h7b0vbt6 flash memory and all of the hal source and header files are added to project. so i have used FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef to erase flash first.but when i call that, the program not build and shows this error and warning:error: FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3' undeclaredwarning: variable 'EraseInitStruct' set but not usedhow to fix it?

Hi at the AEKStudio 2.5.0 Release Notesit is mentioned for a while now, that the V2.5.0 is released. But at the ST Site, where the Link is (STSW-AUTODEVKIT - AutoDevKit Studio for 32-bit power architecture MCUs - STMicroelectronics)is still only the 2.4.0 version available. Is there a new release? Or when will it be released?Thx Thomas

i see somewere that the way to erase the flash is to do this instructions.FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef EraseInitStruct;EraseInitStruct.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_SECTORS; EraseInitStruct.VoltageRange = FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3;EraseInitStruct.Banks = FLASH_BANK_1; EraseInitStruct.Sector = FirstSector;EraseInitStruct.NbSectors = NbOfSectors;HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&EraseInitStruct, &SECTORError);the matter is that i have STM32H7B3I-DK board with code that i genérate form STM32CubeMx. But when a write these instructions; the word "FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3" is unkown by the IDE (KEIL).

I own 2 P-Nucleo-WB55 boards and dongles. I was able to program the FUS, Stack and FW in both Nucleo boards, but now I want to do the same with the dongles but I cannot program the FUS or the Stack in none of them. * In one of them I get:FUS status is FUS_IMAGE_NOT_FOUNDWarning: Firmware upgrade Error!when trying to upgrade the stack to the stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_extended_fw.bin at 0x080C7000 (in this dongle i was able to upgrade the FUS to the last version (1.2.0) using the CubeProgrammer CLI )* In the other dongle, I tried using the CubeProg GUI , but when trying to upgrade the FUS or the Stack I got FUS status is FUS_IMAGE_NOT_AUTHENTICError: Firmware not authentic! The same error got using the CLI. Althought I couldn't upgrade the FUS, when pressing Read FUS Infos I get that the FUS version is 1.2.0 (but no FUS Operator). Also, sometimes using the GUI I got Device Desconected error when upgrading either the FUS or Stack.CubeProgrammer v2.19Stack v1.22FUS v1.2.0E

Hello, I am trying to use the output of the LSM6DSL (accelerometer + gyroscope) to feed an orientation filter. While the accelerometer part is easy to interpret, I am having some trouble with the gyroscope. Apologies if my question is trivial, I have not found any clear answer on the subject so I must have missed something very obvious.   The LSM6DSL returns the angular velocity of the device as a vector of 3 Euler angles, one per axis. With this sort of representation this usually means that the underlying rotation R is a composition of 3 axial rotations, either intrinsic or extrinsic, such as R = R_x * R_y * R_z or any of the permutations. The actual order of the permutation being crucial. The documentation is not 100% clear to me in what order I should apply the axial rotations to describe R. There is no textual mention of this in the Application Note but on page 2 there is a diagram showing: The axis of the accelerometer The rotation Omega_Y, Omega_P, Omega_R Where I guess t

Hi the datasheet does not contain the thermal junction temperatures for the VFQFPN48, hence hard to work out the max thermal temps for the device. please can you supplyregardsRoss

Hi All,To start, I'm a hobbyist and although I am OK with digital, analogue and the maths surrounding design is beyond me.    I am seeking assistance in specifying the values and component suggestions for the CM Filter as noted in figure 7, page 19 of the PM8805 data sheet. If someone has a ready made solution for the following, it would be very much appreciated.   My circuit will need two power rails which I will create using two buck convertors. A 12V rail as well as a 3.3V rail. The 3.3V will only draw a constant current of around 600mA, the 12V rail will spike on occasion to 2Amps. I have designed these before and I am happy with this area.   The 12V circuit will be driving a Texas Instruments TAS5670L Class D I2S Amplifier, while the 3.3V will be driving a Microcontroller. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,I am using the Nucleo-N657X0-Q board and here is what I have done so far:Generated a CubeMX projectEnabled FSBL, Secure Application, Non-secure Application and ExtMemLoader projectsEnabled XSPIM, XSPI2, EXTMEM_LOADER, EXTMEM_MANAGERGenerated codeOpened the project up in CubeIDEAnd this is where I get stuck. Since the project generates 4 sub-projects, which one do I run and on which boot configuration (BOOT0 JP1 and BOOT1 JP2)?I just want to get the non secure application to run, I have added a line of code to turn the blue LED on to verify that the code is running. Purpose of this project is to understand the project structure and its method to get the code running. Can someone please describe the steps I need to follow and in which order these needs to be done? And I also want some feedback on the steps I have performed so far. Was it even needed to generate the EXTMEM_MANAGER sub project, and to enable the EXTMEM loader and manager?

Hi Team,I came across the LSM6DSV16BX, which seems suitable for sports earbuds. Are there any compact earbud-style development boards or hearable devices available on the market?

Hello,I am looking for MEMS accelerometer for seismic application. We need low noise, up to 100Hz bandwidth, full scale +-2g range.I consider IIS3DHHC as a candidate, which has features as below:3-axis, ±2.5 g full-scaleUltra-low noise performance: 45 µg/√Hz16-bit data outputI would like to clarify what is the effective number of bits for 16bit output? How does the Sensitivity 0.076mg/LSB relates to the noise performance? Is there any other products with lower noise?Best regards,Lhagva

Hi based on the quaternion/Sensor fusion of LSM6DSV example I developed an application where I display the direction of a cube. Everything works fine, no drift, but: when I take the device move and turn it around, then put it back in the same exact position, the drawing on the PC is not back to the same direction as when I started. What is going wrong?Thx

HiI am trying to program the Cortex M33 of STM32MP257F-DK dev board using CubeIDE. I have generated the code in Cube IDE. The debugger failing to program as the board not responding.Following are my debug settings:Again I tried using STM32 Cube Programmer, no luck. But its able to detect Cortex A35 using USB DFU mode and able to flash Linux into sd card. But the MCU is unable to detect.I tried boot settings in Development Mode 0011. Also tried 0001 and 0000. Same issue. Can anybody let me know where I am going wrong?

Hello!I wonder if someone can point me to instructions on how to assign a flash memory region for TouchGFX assets on an STM32H7S78-DK, such as images and large files that won't change during an update? Currently there is a Boot and Application region setup by TouchGFX. Just need to add one for the assets so that it is not necessary to erase the whole flash and upload everything, just what is needed.Thank you

Hello,I stumbled upon a cubemx generation issue for sdmmc2 for the stm32u5g9zjt6q (I didn't have this issue with some other stm32u5xx).For a basic cubemx configuration of sdmmc2, the HAL_SD_MspInit is wrongly generated. It is a bit annoying as I have to manually edit the file for each code generation or create my own overload function (not a huge effort I concede). In the Src/stm32u5xx_hal_msp.c, void HAL_SD_MspInit(SD_HandleTypeDef* hsd) calls __HAL_RCC_SDMMC1_CLK_ENABLE();instead of __HAL_RCC_SDMMC2_CLK_ENABLE();Same for void HAL_SD_MspDeInit(SD_HandleTypeDef* hsd) with the __HAL_RCC_SDMMC1_CLK_DISABLE()I might be the only one to experience it but I put it here just in case.

Hello,I’m working with the STM32F407VG microcontroller and I want to establish communication between the PC and the board using CAN protocol. Which USB-to-CAN adapter is recommended for CAN communication with Board.[STM32 Board] --- [USB-to-CAN Adapter] --- [PC]

Hi everyone,We're working with STiROT and TrustZone on an STM32H5 (NUCLEO-H533RE), and during the provisioning process we generate the STiRoT_Config.obk file from the STiRoT_Config.xml using the Trusted Package Creator (TPC).Our question is whether the .obk file itself is encrypted or signed during generation, and if so, which keys are used for that purpose? We're trying to determine if we need to protect any additional private keys used during .obk creation, beyond those already defined for firmware encryption and authentication.Any insight on whether the .obk file is cryptographically protected (encrypted or signed), or if it's simply a binary container holding the public and private keys for secure boot, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

After automatically searching for the best NanoEdge AI library, only the library ID and model name are displayed, and the specific content of the model, such as the neural network structure, cannot be found. I want to know about this aspect. Can you help me solve this problem? Thank you.

Hello,I currently upgraded to Scarthgap, and noticed that weston-touch-calibrator does not work anymore. I have tried it on a custom board and a stm32mp135-disco board, and they exhibit the same behavior. It first loads just fine, but once you touch the cross no check-mark or cross appears on the screen. Dear all, Dear all,I use a NUCLEO_H7A3ZI_Q, connected through an external Arduino/Zio-type connector to an external signal generator, which outputs a constant voltage level.the input channel of the μCU appears to be saturated to 3.3V; it shows this value, even if I increase the incoming voltage to e.g. 4.0V.However, the manual DS13313 states, that this channel should be 5.0V tolerant (see attachment)Could this be related to the caution notice from the UM2408 Manual (see attachment) I wonder how the adapter board is able to saturate the value, if that is true... Many thanksL.A.

this was my hardware setup manually controlling the boot pin.what my condition was I am initialized the bootloader receiving the ack 0x79 for that and also erasing the flash correctly i checked it with the cube programmer , but the write operation is not done. every time i checked with the cube programmer nothing is written in new. this was my current conditionthis was my code written in arduino framework is attached below,#include <WiFi.h>#include <WebServer.h>#include <LittleFS.h>#define WIFI_SSID "Hotspot"#define WIFI_PASSWORD "12341234"#define UART_PORT Serial2#define STM32_BAUDRATE 115200#define STM32_RX 16#define STM32_TX 17#define STM32_ACK 0x79#define STM32_NACK 0x1F#define STM32_INIT 0x7FWebServer server(80);uint8_t packet[300];uint32_t currentAddress = 0x08000000;const char* serverIndex = R"rawliteral(<!DOCTYPE HTML><html><head><title>STM32 FOTA</title><meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scal

For my project, an error message must display on the screen when there's a I2C related communication error. To simulate an I2C error, I pulled out the resistor that is connected between SDA and VCC(for good working of I2C communication, a resistor between VCC and SDA is necessary). When I2C error communication occurs, I2C error callback is called, a lot of things are apparently deactivated such as systick timer etc, using of a delay halts the code(since tick value doesn't increase). The MCU can't enter presenter and view of touchgfx anymore. What  can be done so that TouchGFX works again, so that I can display the needed error message on the screen)?

When using the register callbacks feature ( USE_HAL_UART_REGISTER_CALLBACKS = 1) , the BSP does not register the default callback, causing the serial port not to work. Fix:  diff --git a/Drivers/BSP/STM32G4xx_Nucleo/stm32g4xx_nucleo.c b/Drivers/BSP/STM32G4xx_Nucleo/stm32g4xx_nucleo.c index 89b0837..bd2dd97 100644 --- a/Drivers/BSP/STM32G4xx_Nucleo/stm32g4xx_nucleo.c +++ b/Drivers/BSP/STM32G4xx_Nucleo/stm32g4xx_nucleo.c @@ -384,7 +384,7 @@ int32_t BSP_COM_Init(COM_TypeDef COM, COM_InitTypeDef *COM_Init) /* Init the UART Msp */ COM1_MspInit(&hcom_uart[COM]); #else - if(IsComMspCbValid == 0U) + if(IsComMspCbValid[COM] == 0U) { if(BSP_COM_RegisterDefaultMspCallbacks(COM) != BSP_ERROR_NONE) {

Hi,I am trying to get the OEMiROT example projects running on STM32H563 from "STM32CubeH5\Projects\NUCLEO-H563ZI\Applications\ROT". The provision.bat script fails after writing option bytes (probably after enabling TZ) and tries to reconnect to the MCU, which is where the script fails. To get around this, I am trying to do what "provisioning.bat" does manually. I compiled the "OEMiROT_Boot", "OEMiROT_Appli_TrustZone" apps (secure and non-secure) in STM32CubeIDE and the expected .hex are generated. Here are the steps I followed next in STM32CubeProgrammer:Product state set to "Provisioning". At this stage, STM32CubeProgrammer confirms if default DA configuration is to be used. I select yes. Successful.Enable TrustZone. Successful.Write "OEMiROT_Config.obk". Successful.Flash all .bin and .hex compiled in "STM32CubeH5\Projects\NUCLEO-H563ZI\Applications\ROT".Set product state to "iROT Provisioned". MCU disconnects, reset problems reported, debugger cannot reconnect.I try DA. DA is in
