Hi,I am developing Linux/RTOS for STM32MP257F-EV1 with a slight twist.The STM32MP257F has two A35 cores (Core-0 and Core-1), a M33 Sub-core (Core-3) and a Cortex- M0+.By default Linux uses A35 Core0 and Core-1(both cores). I want to run Linux on A35 Core0 and RTOS on A35 Core-1.To achieve this I am setting [nr_cpus=1] in the Kernel command.This option forces the Kernel to use only Core-0 for execution.Since Linux uses SDRAM for execution, I am loading my RTOS in SRAM via a debugger.But the moment the contents of SDRAM are changed, there is an exception/abort on Linux and the following message is displayed:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------E/TC:0E/TC:0 Core data-abort at address 0x7a480050E/TC:0 esr 0x96000210 ttbr0 0x8213b000 ttbr1 0x00000000 cidr 0x0E/TC:0 cpu #0 cpsr 0x800003c4E/TC:0 x0 0000000000000000 x1 0000000000000000E/TC:0 x2 0000000000008080 x3 0000000000002020E/TC:0 x4 00000000dededede x5 00000000ababababE/TC:0 x6 00000000abab

I am using the X-Cube-AI to deploy a neural network onto  a STM32N6570-DK board. I selected the "n6-allmems-O3" option, and after analyzing, it shows two data, labeled as used RAM and used Flash. I am wondering since I have selected the "allmems" option, the RAM usage refers to the usage of the external RAM or the internal RAM, and the Flash usage refers to the internal Flash or the external Flash.

Currently am Working on STM32H7x series , A'm confused regarding the importance of SPI for Ethernet(LAN9250V/ML) we have to use external bridge for communication. Give some samples codes to implement this perticular Ethernet

I am trying to configure an STLUX285 SMED to trigger an ADC measurement but am unable to find the documentation of the registers required to do this.RM0380 claims "SMED as ADC trigger source" in section 21.16."AFR_IOMXP2" is supposed to have a bit called "ADC_HWtrg" yet I cannot find it.likewise the bit "SMD_HWtrg" seems not to be documented anywhere.How do I configure the SMED to trigger an ADC reading at a precise point in time?For context:The SMED is used to drive the primary mosfet of a flyback converter. I want to use it also to trigger an adc conversion of an aux winding.

hi, I have been trying to run PMSM motors with B-G431B-ESC1, I follow the steps given in the user manual, 1. I profile the motor and save the parameters 2. use the motor control workbench to generate a project, and generate source code, 3. run it in Cube IDE to flash it on the development board. However, I am unable to run my motor with that source code. The motor doesn't even start. I also face inconsistency when running the motor with the same source code on different occasions. What could be the issue, and what should I do to resolve this issue? since the profiler is working, where can I get a profiler code based on which the profiling .hex file is created to debug the issue? Thank you, Madhav

I'm generating external interrupts on an WeActStudio STM32F446RET6 board. I've the pins configured as pull-up. When I set one of them to GND, several random interrupts from other pins are generated. For example, if I connect pin PB3 to GND, I get interrupts from PB3 and PB4.I attach the complete project, I'm compiling it with Visual Studio Code.What could be the cause? My callback function is:void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) { static uint32_t last_interrupt_time[6] = {0}; // For multiples pins uint32_t current_time = HAL_GetTick(); #define debounce_time 50 //ms switch(GPIO_Pin) { case GPIO_PIN_0: if (current_time - last_interrupt_time[0] > debounce_time) { last_interrupt_time[0] = current_time; printf("INT PB0\r\n"); } break; case GPIO_PIN_1: if (current_time - last_interrupt_time[1] > debounce_time) { last_interrupt_time[1] = current_time; printf("INT PB1\r\n"); } break; case GPIO_PIN_3: if (current_time - last_interrupt_time[2] > debou

In my design I needed to use the SPI on the 32-pin WL33, which normally is SWCLK, so I relocated it from its usual PA3, to PB2. When connecting the debugger, it was unable to find the target, which is usually an indication of incorrect connections to SWCLK and/or SWDIO.The manual (rm0511) on pp58-59 describes the alternate functions, and I can see that using PB2 is a valid configuration using AF1 on on that pin. However, when doing a deeper dive into the generated code, I discovered that it has generated code for pin PA2 (SWDIO), (albeit using the wrong define for the Alternate member of the GPIO initialization struct, which is GPIO_AF0_LCO, instead of GPIO_AF0_SWDIO, but luckily they have the same value!), but NO CODE has been generated for SWCLK. As the default alternate register value, according to the manual, is AF0, then it comes up on the wrong pin. Hence the debugger error.I am presuming that I can fix this by adding code to configure PB2 to use AF1? If there are any other sugge

Hello, I am using the NUCLEO-h745ziq board. I am using two board for SPI loopbacking.One board as master and one board as SLAVE. Can we use the two debug window at time. Because I launch the one stmcubeIDE window 1.5.1 and another from stmcubeide 1.6.1 because i have only one drive C. When i debugging the two board, one board debugging ic completed when i try to debug second borad i get the error of GDB server failed. I am unable to undestand why it is shown .Becuase my two board independantly working when i debug it one by one.Can someone please helpme?

Hi, I have a strange situation I can't figure out. I'm new at DMA so I just follow directions as  best I can without a full understanding. Right now, my setup is more or less working for a few months. But today I encountered a problem. I am using UCPD with DMA. Somehow UCPD starts sending data that is equivalent to all 0s. Basically, the data being sent to UCPD by the DMA is all 0s. UCPD encodes this and sends it out over the data channel. Its the correct number of bytes. Also, the preamble and header which are made by UCPD are both correct. I've checked with a scope to verify what is going out. And I've checked with a debugger to verify what is going into the DMA.Can you think of any reason why the DMA would transfer just 0s to the peripheral? Or why the peripheral would receive 0s? Does the DMA buffer need to be volatile? Makes sense that it would need to be but following the STM example code for UCPD their DMA buffers were not volatile.. Also I should point out this isn't

Hello,I've discovered the following anomalous behavior when attempting to use the STM32F103 Nucleo board:Pushbutton interrupt code will not execute if the RTC is active with NVIC EXTI13.  I've noticed that the RTC tamper PIN is also assigned to PC13 but I've made sure that the output selection is disabled and RTC tamper is deselected inside CudeIDE/CubeMX window.  If the RTC is activated with NVIC EXTI13, I measure zero volts across the appropriate pushbutton (pushbutton not depressed) pins (without the RTC activated the voltage across the same pins is 3.3V). My initial GUESS is PC13 is being reconfigured as an open drain output and being pulled low when the MX_RTC_Init is executed? I've tried to use the debugger to read the appropriate register and bit but I keep receiving a read error.  If I comment out the MX_RTC_Init function and download the program I receive correct functionality from the pushbutton but only after a computer reboot.I've also tried to execute the MX

I am using the STM32WB55 microcontroller for my product. I want to connect more than one module to my Windows laptop. When I pair one module, it pairs correctly, but when I try to connect another module with the same firmware, it shows the message "Try to connect your device again" and does not connect. I have tried changing many things, but it is still not working. Where do I need to make changes so I can connect both devices with the same firmware to my laptop?

Hi,I am implementing CDC ACM on STM32C0x series with USBX standalone. I searched for many examples but could not find a single example for USBX standalone for CDC ACM. There are examples with USBX standalone for HID Mouse. Wherever, I find example of USBX for CDC ACM, it is always using ThreadX.Can anyone please point me to example for USBX Standalone for CDC ACM?Thanks,Pradeep

Hello STM32 developers,I/m using STM32CubeMX 6.14.1I noticed that in middleware the selection "USB_DEVICE" has disappeared.Instead, "USBX" is listed, however it is for RTOS, and I don't use RTOS, so I'm left with nothing.I think the STMicroelectronics USB stack would still be available, somehow:https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mcu/index.php?title=USBX_overview&oldid=10172Besides offering STMicroelectronics USB stack, USBX, the Azure RTOS USB embedded stack is currently supported and offered with a set of applications running on STM32 MCUs. How can I use the STMicroelectronics USB stack > "USB_DEVICE" instead?Do I need to install some software for it?

I’m currently working on a project that involves I2C communication using the STM32H750B-DK  but I’m having trouble identifying which I2C peripheral (I2C1, I2C2, etc.) is connected to the Arduino I2C pins (SDA/SCL) on the board.Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the schematic diagram of the board or any clear documentation that specifies this mapping.

How to download datasheet stm32f103c8t6? Why is it unavailable?

Hi all,I am using CubeMX 6.14 to generate an OpenAMP project for the STM32H747I-DISCO board. When I build the project, I receive the following warnings, and it results in an 'OpenAMP create endpoint' error at runtime. I used the same code and project created with CubeMX 6.12, and it works fine. Therefore, I suspect there might be an issue with CubeMX 6.14. Could someone please advise me on how to generate a working OpenAMP project using CubeMX?arm-none-eabi-gcc "D:/TouchGFXProjects/STM32H7_TUT/Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32h7xx_hal_rcc.c" -mcpu=cortex-m4 -std=gnu11 -g3 -DDEBUG -DCORE_CM4 -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DSTM32H747xx -DUSE_PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY -DMETAL_INTERNAL -DMETAL_MAX_DEVICE_REGIONS=2 -DRPMSG_BUFFER_SIZE=512 -DVIRTIO_SLAVE_ONLY -DRPMSG_BUFFER_SIZE -DNO_ATOMIC_64_SUPPORT -c -I../../../CM4/Core/Inc -I../../../Drivers/BSP/Components -I../../../Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -I../../../Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/Legacy -I../../../Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32H7xx/Inc

Hi,I'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1v, which includes STM32CubeMX 6.14.1v, and I'm seeing unexpected behavior when working with GPDMA1 on an STM32H5 device.When I configure a DMA channel with Request set to "Software", CubeMX generates full initialization code.However, as soon as I change the Request to any other peripheral trigger, for example TIM2_CH1, all of the DMA configuration disappears from the generated code. Only the RCC clock enable and interrupt configuration remain. Example 1 — Request = Software:static void MX_GPDMA1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN GPDMA1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END GPDMA1_Init 0 */ DMA_NodeConfTypeDef NodeConfig = {0}; /* Peripheral clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_GPDMA1_CLK_ENABLE(); /* GPDMA1 interrupt Init */ HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(GPDMA1_Channel0_IRQn, 0, 0); HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(GPDMA1_Channel0_IRQn); /* USER CODE BEGIN GPDMA1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END GPDMA1_Init 1 */ NodeConfig.NodeType = DMA_GPDMA_LINEAR_NODE; NodeConfig.Init.Request =

Hello,Is there support for PAwR with BLE on the STM32WB10CCU5 chip? Additionally, I would like to know what methods I can use to send different data to multiple devices using BLE with this chip. If this chip does not provide the necessary functionality, could you recommend another STM32 BLE chip suitable for such an application?Thank you for your assistance.Best regards,Teoman

How to change this theme, i couldn't find any settings related to this, i have tried all the colors and font settings, it comes default after installing STM cube IDE as fresh start. Somebody please help with this ?i have tried with ecllipse marketplace "Darkest theme" which i have installed, but it didn't apply , checked with settings under version control

Hello,I purchased a set of Wireless charging evaluation boards (RX & TX) on Mouser.com for $160.The 2 board names are STEVAL-WBC86TX and STEVAL-WLC38RX. I use STSW-WPSTUDIO V1.8.4 software to try to connect to the board from my PC and get access to the register setting. But every time I click on the Connect button, there is the same error message appearing: "Unable to find any [RX]WLC38 device. Please check your connection again."  The issue is the same with both boards.But it seems the boards are working, because when I place STWLC38 on top of STWBC86, the boards are charging, because I can see the red LED on the receiver board, and Vout is 5V. So the main issue is the GUI.I cannot use the ST GUI to connect to any of the ST boards that I paid $200 for ! (with shipping + fee cost) My computer is Windows 11. And the board is properly connected through a USB-A to USB-C cable.I followed the steps from the user manual. The 2nd USB-C connector of

I would like to implement a HID composite device (e.g., mouse + keyboard) using USBX on an STM32U5.However, calling ux_device_stack_class_register() twice (once for the mouse and once for the keyboard) returns an error. I assume this is because USBX supports only a single instance of the HID class by default.Our existing product is recognized by the host as a composite HID device (with separate interfaces for mouse and keyboard), and I would like to replicate the same structure.My environment:STM32CubeIDE Version 1.17.0STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32U5 Series 1.7.0Board: NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-QCreated via:Project Explorer -> New -> STM32 project -> Board Selector -> NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q -> FinishUSBX middleware enabledChecked all HID class options in the middleware configurationIs there a recommended way to create a HID composite device (multiple HID interfaces) with USBX?Should I modify the report descriptor to include multiple Report IDs, or is there a way to register multiple HID

 Hello,I'm facing an issue while performing OTA firmware updates using the ST BLE Toolbox app. The image file uploads successfully in most cases, but quite often, the final confirmation pop-up (indicating completion or prompting for reboot) does not appear. Additionally, the BLE connection does not disconnect automatically after the upload finishes.As a result, the firmware gets stuck, and it seems the device is not transitioning out of the OTA mode properly. I suspect the problem might be related to BLE service handling in the firmware, possibly missing a disconnection trigger or final response from the app.Has anyone else faced a similar issue or can suggest what part of the BLE service code should be checked for proper OTA completion and BLE disconnection?Any guidance would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

HI,Could somebody tell me how to configure and access VL53L1 histogram data in detail.Thank you

If I realize it is true, is it needed to solder SB12 in NUCLEO-WBA52CG board for using SWO as ITM_SendChar in printf debug? Thank you for helping!
