Hi,I am currently facing an issue where TrustZone cannot be disabled on the STM32U545 device with custom hardware.1. [Part Number] STM32U545VET6 on custom hardware2. [Environment] STM32CubeProgrammer 2.20.0 with ST-LINK V2; custom Zephyr application and custom TFM platform3. [Schematics] PH3 (BOOT0) is connected to 3.3V when changing the RDP from Level 0 (AA) to Level 1 (DC)4. [Details]I flashed a custom secure application with TFM onto the device, but it was not working. I wanted to disable TrustZone and return the chip to a “normal” state. Following AN5347 (Section 9.1.2) and an ST Community post, I attempted to perform a regression.Everything worked until I set the RDP to Level 1. However, after power-cycling the target, I could no longer connect to the device. Regardless of how I reset the target or change the ST-LINK connection mode (Hotplug, Under Reset, etc.), I only receive errors such as the following:BOOT0 to VDD:BOOT0 to the ground:5. [Expected

Hello STMicroelectronics engineers and fellow users,I recently purchased the STM32F746G-CU4 board and have been working on a project with it.The STM32F746 is an excellent processor, and I was particularly interested in its ability to control a touch screen, which is why I bought this board. Yesterday, I finally managed to install the TouchGFX software and set up my development environment. My plan today was to start by uploading a simple image to the display and then gradually research and practice the required features before integrating them into my equipment. TouchGFX has provided a very intuitive interface, and fortunately, I was able to upload an image to the board with just a few clicks. It is a very convenient environment for me.However, I’ve encountered some problems. When I downloaded the simplest images to the board (for example, just a plain white screen or a solid color), the screen displayed the color correctly. But when I uploaded the photo I wanted, the entire screen becam

HIAt what temperature the TS_CAL2 value for the STM32G431 is detected? In the datasheet it is reported 130 degrees while in the library "stm32g4xx_ll_adc.h" TEMPSENSOR_CAL2_TEMP is 110 degrees Thanks

Hi, I followed the instructions in this post to install the STM32Cube extension for Visual Studio Code. After completing the installation, I noticed that two icons appeared in the left panel: one labeled "STM32Cube" and the other "STM32 VS Code Extension".The difference is that under "STM32Cube", there is only a "Key Actions" menu instead of the Project Manager, so I can’t import my project. On the other hand, the "STM32 VS Code Extension" icon works correctly and allows me to import my CMake project.Which one should I keep?

I have set PA3 pin as input with pull up mode. But testing this pin by multimeter I get high impendance state (0.5V) on it. Must be 3.3V (logical 1). I use stm32F417ZGT6.

Hi, I want to make a simple application with an STM32WB5MMG that exposes a characteristic which I can read. I created the service and the characteristic, and I enabled the CHAR_PROP_READ property. In custom_app.c, I then use Custom_STM_App_Update_Char to update the value under the CUSTOM_STM_FW_VER_READ_EVT case branch. However, I can't read the correct value—it always returns 0.I also tried enabling the GATT_NOTIFY_READ_REQ_AND_WAIT_FOR_APPL_RESP property, but from the debugger, I see that it doesn't even enter the void Custom_STM_App_Notification(Custom_STM_App_Notification_evt_t *pNotification) function. Can someone help me?Thanks.

Hi everyone,I’m trying to deploy a wav2vec model using STM32Cube.AI and ran into an issue during onnx conversion.NOT IMPLEMENTED: Unsupported layer types: LayerNormalizationI’ve read the documentation at supported onnx operators and it seems that LayerNormalization is not currently supported.I have a couple of questions:Are there plans to support LayerNormalization in future releases? If not, does anyone know a recommended workaround other than just modifying the model to use another type of normalization?

I'm using the STM32H7B3.ADC configuration: Sample time : ~2usLL_ADC_SAMPLINGTIME_64CYCLES_5  Calibrations: HAL_ADCEx_LinearCalibration_FactorLoad(adc2)HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(adc2, ADC_CALIB_OFFSET, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED)Observations:The ADC counts seem to be stuck at values which are highlighted in the picture above at around 0.31 to 0.35 V and 0.62V to 0.66VThe ADC > DR also seems to be stuck and reads 255, 511 at the two voltage ranges mentioned aboveInput signal source: Analog Input voltage range is 0V - 5V in YELLOW converted to 3.3V scale which is also the VrefUsing only RED boxed channel that is connected to the ADC pin on the mcu Things that I tried:Increasing the sample time to ~11usTried different calibration combinations HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(adc2, ADC_CALIB_OFFSET_LINEARITY, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED)Ignored the DMA buffer values and only observed the ADC > DR which also seems to directly jump from 255 to 288 and 511 to 544 Not

Dear All,I'm having problem to get DFU over USB running on custom board. In general device can boot from SD card and with no SD card it can be detected via uart4 by STM programmer, so it enters DFU as far as I can tell.USB DP/DM is connected to DP2 (being pulled-up to ~3.3V) and DM2 (looks like a weak pull down). OTG_ID (PA10) hangs free and OTG_VBUS (U15) hangs free.3V3_USBHF+FS connected to LDO4 and present (3.3V)EDIT: 24Mhz xtal present, no 22Ohm series resistors and also removed all esd protection at this moment...Nothing happens on the USB lines when I connect the cable to the PC and the device is not detected. The voltage on the OTG_ID pin is LOW - which is strange, as is should be pulled up theoretically. Connecting OTG_VBUS (PA10) pin to VBUS from the connector does not change anything, that is - no detection, no communication, looks like my device behaves like a host.I could not find any reference design for USB connection, but I really thought it is so simple. Any suggestions

Hi,I have got a TFlite model with s16 activations and s8 weights.1. Without NPU. I run this commandstedgeai.exe generate --target stm32n6 --name network -m %1 --compression none --verbosity 1 -O time --output ./X-CUBE-AIand the utility produces a network with "float" activations and weights (and adding int -> float at the start, and float -> int at the end). Can I use some command line options to force the utility to generate "integer" layers?2. With NPU. I run this commandstedgeai.exe generate --target stm32n6 --st-neural-art n6-noextmem@C:/Users/asdfg/STM32Cube/Repository/Packs/STMicroelectronics/X-CUBE-AI/10.2.0/scripts/N6_scripts/user_neuralart.json --name network -m %1 --compression none --verbosity 1 -O time --output ./X-CUBE-AI_NPU/Appand the utility outputs the error "NOT IMPLEMENTED: Unkonwn layer format for layer Input_0"With NPU, is it possible to use int16x8 TFlite models?Regards!

Dear，Could you kindly help provide MTTF/FIT for LMV321ILT

On the STM32WL33 chip, is it possible to switch between LPAWUR Wake-up Radio Rx mode and PWR DeepStop RTC mode in the same code?

Hi,Running STM32MX Tool 6.15.0 On Windows 10.Started a project for a STM32U535CCTx.I've enabled ADC and configured channel IN8. The software thinks this is connected to PA4, but the datasheet says it is connected to PA3. See screen caps below. Regards John

I'm working on a custom board using an STM32H743IIT6. In general, the board is working, but I'm running into an issue with the RTC. The RTC is running accurately, but when I reset the board, the RTC resets. This happens even if I just terminate and restart the connected debugger, without disconnecting power. I've read through about 20 pages of RTC related posts here, and have checked all sorts of things:- I commented out the Cube/HAL code that initializes the RTC to a specific value- I checked the battery (1.6V with a 357 battery)- I tried using a method described on this forum: After initializing the RTC, store a magic number to a backup register. If that magic number is found in the backup register on startup, don't initialize the RTC again. It didn't help. I took this code out, because the RTC itself has a flag that indicates whether it's been initialized or not, and the HAL code skips initialization if the RTC is already initialized, based on that flag.- My init code looks like thi

I was reviewing the schematic for the STM32H7x3I-EVAL board and noticed that the ETH_nINT pin from the Ethernet PHY is connected to pin PG7 of the microcontroller.I'm having trouble finding clear documentation on how this pin functions. Could someone please clarify the following? What is the exact purpose of the ETH_nINT pin on this board?Does it require any special configuration within the LwIP stack to be used? Are there any example projects that demonstrate how to handle this interrupt? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Mohammed

Building upon my previous post, "Bidirectional Serial Communication with ST-Link using FreeRTOS on NUCLEO Boards," this code demonstrates a Simulator component and an Application component operating on two separate NUCLEO-C092RC boards. Please note that this project is intended for educational use and is not designed as robust production code; some errors or omissions may remain that users will need to address. This initial demonstration should function as described when configured according to the provided instructions, and it may serve as a foundational template for future development and enhancements. I’m running into a strange issue when trying to jump into the STM32 bootloader.I’ve built an FDCAN bootloader flasher using an STM32H7 along with a Windows host program. This setup allows me to reprogram both virgin and already-programmed. To do this, I set the BOOT pin high and reset the MCU (controlled by another MCU via test pads). This method works flawlessly every time, and it’s just as fast as using an ST-Link V3.Now, I want to achieve the same result without using the BOOT pin (on already programmed MCU) —by sending a CAN message to trigger a jump into the STM32U5 internal bootloader. However, when I switch my programmer MCU to FDCAN mode and attempt communication, the bootloader does not respond....My hardware is designed so that, by default, the CAN transceiver and all required circuitry are active and ready. But once I perform the jump, the MCU simply won’t respond to FDCAN messages. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Resetting all pins back to default input with pull-upsDisab

Hello,I am testing a custom board based on STM32MP257FAK3 with two DDR4 MT40A1G16RC-062E_B devices, for a total of 4 GB (32-bit width).I have correctly set up the main configuration files to work with the PMIC and UART. I also exported the PCB layout of the Ax pins using CubeMX and re-imported them into the DDR configuration file. The .stm32 image is successfully generated and uploaded through CubeProgrammer. I can also access the console and successfully complete steps 0 and 1.However, when reaching step 2, the initialization fails. After some investigation, it seems that the failure occurs during training after the PHY configuration, specifically in the function: ddrphy_phyinit_usercustom_g_waitfwdone()At this point, the call to get_major_message() always returns 0xFF, which causes the program to enter the failed state. My questions are:Could this be related to incorrect training values not being properly written into the RAM?Or is it more likely that the PHY is not synchron

Hi,We are using the STM32H725VGH6 MCU and are plannign to use the internal SMPS for VCORE.With regards to the connections required for the VLXSMPS pin, I would just like to confirm that a 220pF capacitor is required on this pin in the "Direct SMPS Supply" configuration. It seems unusual to have a capacitor directly on the output of a Buck SMPS. It is also not show in Figure 2 of "AN5419: Getting started with STM32H723/733, STM32H725/735 and STM32H730 Value Line hardware development". However it is recommended in Table 2 & Figure 3.

Dear ST Team,I am an embedded developer working with STM32 MCUs in various projects, and recently I have been exploring the use of Zephyr RTOS due to its growing adoption and strong ecosystem.I noticed that companies like Nordic Semiconductor provide a dedicated SDK (nRF Connect SDK) which deeply integrates Zephyr with their MCUs, making it easier for developers to use advanced RTOS features, drivers, and middleware.I would like to ask if ST has any plans to:1. Support the migration of more ST sensor drivers into Zephyr RTOS.2. Offer a dedicated SDK or integration layer (similar to Nordic’s nRF Connect SDK) that makes Zephyr development on STM32 more streamlined and accessible.Such an initiative would greatly benefit the developer community and strengthen STM32’s position in modern IoT and embedded software ecosystems.Best regards,

Hi everyone,I'm developing an application for the STM32H755I-Q board in which I'm using the LwIP library (without an OS) to leverage the TCP/IP stack (for the configuration, I followed How to create a project for STM32H7 with Ethernet ... - STMicroelectronics Community). After verifying that everything was working correctly, I decided to add log management via UART3 printing (according to the reference manual, USART3 supports the Virtual COM Port).Unfortunately, when I try to print "Hello World", I only see unreadable characters in the terminal.Below is the main:/* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2025 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory o

I have a simple program using Touchgfx and Freertos running on the following:STM32H735G-DKSTM32CubeIDE V 1.19.0STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.12.1I have enabled SDMMC1 (in 1 bit mode, but 4 bit is the same), configured FATFS, and created a task to mount the SD card and open a file, from a button on a touchgfx screen. The card is formatted for FAT16, but format type makes no difference.f_mount fails every time with mostly file system not found, and sometimes disk error. After weeks of painstaking step by step debugging, I realized the problem occurs at line 274 in sd_diskio.c:if (!((uint32_t)buff & 0x3))This file is automatically generated by CubeMX as part of the generation process. Once generated, this file has two user options, which are both required when using the H7 to enable cache maintenance:#define ENABLE_SD_DMA_CACHE_MAINTENANCE 1#define ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFERWith the scratch buffer enabled, this line is supposed to check whether the fs-win buffer where the SD card sector will be loaded
