Posted on November 10, 2016 at 14:38 Hi, I try to wakeup from Stop mode by using Alarm A, but it doesn't work. Anyone has any ideas? I use STM32L151VE, and my code is below. I use LSI. I see the RTC is functioning during stop mode since if I wake via power button (EXTI0) I see the RTC advanced as expected. int main(void) { /*Here goes the usual initialization stuff*/ system_flags |= RtcInit(); FLASH_SLEEPPowerDownCmd(ENABLE); PWR_UltraLowPowerCmd(ENABLE); PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_Regulator_LowPower, PWR_STOPEntry_WFI); } static void RtcClockInit(void) { /* Allow access to RTC */ PWR_RTCAccessCmd(ENABLE); #if defined (RTC_CLOCK_SOURCE_LSI) /* LSI used as RTC source clock*/ /* The RTC Clock may varies due to LSI frequency dispersion. */ /* Enable the LSI OSC */ RCC_LSICmd(ENABLE); /* Wait till LSI is ready */ while(RCC_GetFlagStatus(RCC_FLAG_LSIRDY) == RESET) { } /* Select the RTC Clock Source */ RCC_RTCCLKConfig(RCC_RTCCLKSource_LSI); synch_prediv = 0x127; asynch_prediv

Posted on December 07, 2016 at 16:01Hallo!I downloaded the zip-file STSW-STM32115 entitled 'STM32F37x/38x DSP and standard peripherals library, including 73 examples for 26 different peripherals'. Unfortunately the project/example folder is missing.Can someone tell me where else I could find a working example of the STM32F373 SDADC?Thanks!

Personally I'm confused why one would need an ''app'' to properly view and interact with a WEB BASED PORTAL, but I'm a bit jaded.http://www.theverge.com/2016/5/4/11589682/microsoft-sharepoint-2016-mobile-apps Also a discussion over a Slashdot about it.https://news.slashdot.org/story/16/05/04/2216220/microsoft-overhauls-sharepoint-to-compete-with-slack-in-the-mobile-era #honor-to-whom-honor-is-due #worst-forum-software-ever

Posted on December 06, 2016 at 13:59We are working on a project based on timer in which we keep facing an error : symbol _TIM1_SetCounter not defined. We have included the header files as well. Thanks in advance.

Posted on December 06, 2016 at 15:28Hi,I'm using the Bluenrg-ms chipset with firmware version 7.1.e (0x715). Everything works fine, except from the authorization settings. Each device can connect to the BLE without any request for permissions (PIN). By digging a bit I've found that the function 'aci_gap_slave_security_request' should do the job, but I don't exactly know where and how to use it (related callbacks to handle, actions to do according to the result). Can anybody help me through this?Thanks a lot,Daniele#spbtle-rf #bluenrg-ms #ble

Posted on December 06, 2016 at 09:45 Dear Sir, As we discussed earlier, difficulties on adapting project in SW4STM32 and mdk-keil, things might related to compiler, including paths, wrong pre-processors, undefined characters, unresolved items, miss-matching of slandered files/states with HAL libraries, we did not find any particular clue. https://community.st.com/thread/32323 Lets see the difficulties accordance with SW4STM32 because mdk-keil and coo-cox is failed!! (AC6, http://www.openstmorg/, https://community.arm.com, https://www.eclipse.org/ All are not usefull) Right at the moment, the error console says, arm-none-eabi-gcc -mthumb -mfloat-abi=soft -E ''-IC:\\Ac6\\SystemWorkbench\\plugins\\fr.ac6.mcu.externaltools.arm-none.win32_1.7.0.201602121829\\tools\\compiler\\bin'' ''-IC:\\STM32_toolchain\\lib\\gcc'' -IC:/STM32_toolchain/common/Drivers/STM32F0xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -IC:/STM32_toolchain/common/Drivers/STM32F0xx_HAL_Driver/Src -O0 -g3 -Wall -fmessage-length=0 -ffunction-secti

Posted on November 04, 2016 at 23:12Here's a little background. I run Arch Linux, and have been using the arm-none-eabi suite and openocd since early 2013 to program STM32s, first L1s and F4s, and now L4s. Except for vector.o from the appropriate libopencm3 library, all the code was written by me. I'm simply trying to say that I'm not entirely new to STM32s.Anyway, as of this morning, I'm the unfortunate possessor of, not just one, but two, STM32L432 NUCLEOs that appear to be defunct. Both have exactly the same problem. And they didn't have it yesterday.Each GPIO port's registers contain the same number: the reset value of the GPIO's mode register. Indeed, all 256 words of the block allocated to each GPIO contains the reset value. For example, GPIOA's block contains 0xabffffff repeated 256 times.And this appears to be a permanent condition. Nothing I tried affected the problem at all. I even installed the windows ST-LINK Utility in a Vista virtual machine, and had a go with it. The re

Posted on November 15, 2016 at 11:28Hello,I am writing this post because i have a problem with UART communication. I am using à microcontroller in order to communicate with the CR95HF chip but i can't have any response even when i'm sending an echo command. However, both pins SSI_0 and SSI_1 are connected to the ground and i'm pulling down the UART_RX/IRQ_IN more than 10us after i powered up the CR95HF chip as it's written in the datasheet.I figured out a problem, my UART_TX/IRQ_OUT pin is always at 0V, but even if i link a pull-up resistor, i still have no answers.Can anyone help me with my problem? i would really appreciate.Best regards

Posted on November 21, 2016 at 13:34Hi everyone. I have an .HEX file that I would like to program in a STM8AF62A8 MCU. I load the .HEX into STVP and it seems to be flashing the memory correctly because I can see some of the application's startup output through the serial port (it does it repeatedly due to the MCU being restarted multiple times during programming, I assume). The problem is that, as soon as the process is over, the MCU stops responding and I get no serial output when I reset the MCU manually. #hex #stvp #stm8

Posted on November 10, 2016 at 17:34 Hi all, I am using an stm32f4 micro to generate a random number. I am using the RNG Driver from the stm32cubef4 library. I followed the examples but the micro is generating the same number over and over again. here is a code snippet. int main( void ) { HAL_Init(); system_init(); if (HAL_RNG_Init(&hRNG1) != HAL_OK) { DEBUG_PRINT( ''Random Number generation failed\r'' ); } if (HAL_RNG_GenerateRandomNumber(&hRNG1,code_)==HAL_OK) { DEBUG_PRINT( ''RNG initiated\r'' ); } else { DEBUG_PRINT( ''RNG failed\r'' ); } DEBUG_PRINT( ''%'' PRIu32 ''\r'' ,code_[0]); } Does anybody have a clue on what am missing. I am using the DEBUG_PRINT function to get the random value through the serial port. Best Regards Raiyan #no-hablo-hal #stm32f407-random-number-generate

Posted on July 31, 2015 at 15:25 Hello all, I have configured the ADC to trigger based on Timer 6 update event every (1/48000) seconds. DMA is used to transfer the ADC conversion to memory. However, when I debug, I see the timer count being incremented, but I don't see any ADC conversion being made or anything in the memory location where it saves the ADC values through DMA. I have used ST's CubeMX to generate the initialization code. #include ''stm32f7xx_hal.h'' uint16_t ADC3ConvertedValue = 0; uint16_t ADC_Value = 0; /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc3; DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma_adc3; TIM_HandleTypeDef htim6; /* USER CODE BEGIN PV */ /* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE END PV */ /* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/ void SystemClock_Config(voi

Posted on April 22, 2015 at 11:01Hello,I have this ultrasonic sensor(HY-SRF05 blue): cf in attachment.I have to manage 3 of this sensors simultaneously. How? I have the board SPC560P-DISP. In datasheet there's written of to use the I2C interface or UART or SPI. But I don't know how do. There's a documentation? Thanks. Best regards, Gianluca.

Posted on November 03, 2016 at 11:22Gentlemen!I try to use chip ST95HF. I am a beginner in NFC. I need to develop Peer to Peer connection. What protocol should I use for it?I can not see of the emitted field at 13,56 MHz.I initialized of the chip to work for IEC14443B protocol (I checked of the reply it was 0x0000). I used for test of the IDN command 0x000100 and received of the true reply - ''NFC FS2JAST4''.Then I try to send of the test sequence:0x00 0x06 0x64          0x35.0x35 (0x35 100 times).I did not receive of the true reply (0x0C 0x00 instead of 0x00 0x00) and I did not see any field (I use a good receiver and tested of the SF95HF output by scope).Could you help to understand of my error? #st95hf

Posted on October 28, 2016 at 09:13Hi. I've generated a project using Cube, but the Drivers directory is void (it has subdirectories but any file), and then the project is full of errors. I've attached the project. The project properties are: - STM32F769I-DISCO board - Enable SD 4 bit wide bus And the generate it. (I know it has a clock error). Cube version 4.17.0 STM32Cube v1.0 STM32Cube_FW_F7 V1.5.1 If i select FW package STM32Cube_FW_F7 V1.5.0 then it copies all the files. Is this a bug or I'm doing/I have something wrong?

Posted on June 27, 2016 at 22:53So I've spent two entire days trying to figure out why STM32CubeMX v4.15.1 would not generate my project properly (which had been working under v4.14).  It would totally mess up an existing project, would not create the startup assembly file, and my TrueStudio project would no longer compile any of my application-specific code. I finally figured it out (sort of), but have no explanation for why this worked.  I already sent this information to Atollic (although it is ST's problem), and I will repeat it here:I finally figured out what was wrong (sort of) by comparing two different .ioc files.  One was from a project that worked, and the other was from my non-working project. There was no Toolchain Location specified in the non-working .ioc file, although it was properly shown in the Settings dialog (go figure).  So I copied the information from the working project to the non-working project.The working project had a line in this form

Posted on October 19, 2016 at 06:03Hi!Attached stm32f4xx_hal_i2c.c is from stm32cube_fw_f4_v1131.zip. line 657,       if((__HAL_I2C_GET_FLAG(hi2c, I2C_FLAG_BTF) == SET) && (Size != 0U)) It looks better to be hi2c->XferCount or hi2c->XferSize, than Size.regards, ---------------------------       /* Write data to DR */       hi2c->Instance->DR = (*hi2c->pBuffPtr++);       hi2c->XferCount--;       hi2c->XferSize--;      if((__HAL_I2C_GET_FLAG(hi2c, I2C_FLAG_BTF) == SET) && (Size != 0U))       {         /* Write data to DR */         hi2c->Instance->DR = (*hi2c->pBuffPtr++);         hi2c->XferCount--;         hi2c->XferSize

Posted on October 28, 2016 at 15:26Hey, I have some trouble configuring my camera interface. I am using an analog NTSC camera with differential data lines. For decoding it into digital YCbCr 4:2:2 I am using the Intersil TW9990. I think I configured it more or less right because I am receiving VSYNC, HSYNC and data. Only I am not sure because I have the possibility to crop the image with the TW9990 too. And also I don't know if the vsync and hsync lines must be active all the time during transmitting active lines/pixels. Does anybody of you know it? Because I can't find any good description for the DCMI interface. So now configuring my STM32F746 Discovery Board to continue with these received data. I want store the data via dma in the external sdram. I know I am receiving 8 bit data by each pixel clock. Can I configure the dma as followed? /*** Configure the DMA ***/   /* Set the parameters to be configured */   hdma_handler.Init.Channel      &n

Posted on October 05, 2016 at 12:54Hi Can someone advise me what the ERP (Radiated power) produced from the M24SR64 device through its antenna. I know it will be very low as it is a passive device but if ST or someone has some figures that would be great.ThanksAndrew #thanks

Posted on March 23, 2016 at 11:57I test with 24LR04e-discovery board..Use CR95HF demo board to set EH enable-03,and EH Config-F3. Put board near wire and the board can display message. But if I set F0 and mean max 7mA. It is very difficult to drive the board message display. I measure the VDD output and always about 0.5V. Why set max current higher not better ? How can i set to output more current to 7mA?  thanks #m24lr04e
