Hello,I'm trying to extend the example given in 'Method 2 - From other task', given here: https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205074561-Connecting-the-UI-to-your-systemI am using the 746-Disco board and the example works just fine on my hardware. My end goal is to have a task in the RTOS that can handle serial communication and send along info to the screen model (or transmit data entered on the screen).to get started I have created a new task (serial_task) and placed it in serial.c (and serial.h). Basically I have just copied the 'condenser.c/.h' file combo and renamed the functions.I have added serial.h to main.cpp and serial.c to the makefile.I can compile just fine and I can even swap the two tasks around.what I can NOT do is get them to work side by side.In my main.cpp I have this:xTaskCreate(condenser_task, (TASKCREATE_NAME_TYPE)"CondenserTask", 512, NULL, configGUI_TASK_PRIORITY+1, NULL); xTaskCreate(serial_task, (TASKCREATE_NAME_TYPE)"SerialTask", 512, NUL

I used cubemx to generate the project, using designer generate gui code. This project works well in VS, MDK and development boards. But use run simulator in designer to prompt the errors shown in the figure.Excuse me, where did this go wrong, how should revise.Thank you very much!

I have an STM32F103RB Nucleo board.I'm trying to build a very easy LED example (see details section).I expect that both LEDs (one on the bread board, one on the nucleo board) are blinking every 500 ms. But only the one on the board is working. The structure can be seen on attached figures. On a bread board I have an LED (yellow -> 2 V) and a resistance (100 ohm) in series connection. To the nucleo board there are 3 cables:- red: ground to + on bread board- black: 3.3V to - on bread board- white: D2 to resistanceI hope somebody can help me. Do you need any other information?

i want to convert .hex file or .elf file in to C or C++ code if it possible. if possible then how can i do this?

does any one know when STM32L552QC will be available in market with a marketing status Active !!

I'm using an stm32l476G-DISCO and i want to transmit a message using the usart, the code compiled with no error using the CubeMX but the terminal is not showing anything.i configured pin P5 as TX_USART2 and P6 as RX_USART2is it a usb driver problem? or should I use a PL2303 USB to serial ?

Hello All, According to the data sheet, there are no specific requirements for the power supply besides the power and voltage requirements. However, if you look at the schematic of the CR95HF RF transceiver Demo board, the design seems to be more advanced. Due to this I have a couple of questions regarding the power supply for the ST25R95. The demo board is mounted with a lot of decoupling. Is this necessary for the reader to work, or is this just to remove noise from the USB supply? Is it necessary to separate VPS_MAIN and VPS_TX?Best regards,Andreas

Hi,As the title says really. What do the dividers I have highlighted in the screengrab correspond to in the processor? The options in those boxes are "/1" and "/8" and the names "Cortex Div" and "Cortex2 Div" appear when you hover the mouse over them. The closest I could find was that the Systick divider in the core processor programming manual describes how to calculate the reload value and has either a divide by 1 or 8 depending on whether the source clock is HCLK or external, respectfully. If that is the case then the values I use should always be "/1", correct? Because they are only ever sourced from the same clock as the CPU.Thanks.

Hi @Martin KJELDSEN !You usually support me with TouchGFX, this must be a simple one for you but I can't find the solution in the community.I'm having an issue trying to update my project from TouchGFX 4.9.6 to 4.10. I get the build error:undefined reference to `touchgfx::HAL::copyFBRegionToMemory(touchgfx::Rect, unsigned short*, unsigned long)'I think it is because I miss the function copyFBRegionToMemory(touchgfx::Rect, unsigned short*, unsigned long) in \touchgfx\touchgfx\framework\source\touchgfx\hal\HAL.cpp. Where can I find the latest version of source code to update?

Hello,We are using application with stm32, and all works well. But we now want to divide it into: bsp HAL library and an application. The issue is that we are not sure where the interrupt files should be inserted and the start assembly files.Does anyone knows if it is possible to divide the big application like this , and where to put the interrupts and assemble files ?Thanks, ran

Hello everyone,I'm working on a project using an stm32f030rc. I need to use PC15 as a GPIO input but it appears I'm unable to.I understand the couple PC14/PC15 is shared with the LFE oscillator, but of course I'm not using that function. Moreover, I am able to read the correct pin level on the PC14 GPIO. In the datasheed regarding my model the PC15 pin is marked as a I/O with OSC32_OUT as additional function: can it be used as input at all?For reference, this is the C code I'm using to test the functionality; I'm using libopencm3 for initialization.#include <libopencm3/stm32/rcc.h> #include <libopencm3/stm32/gpio.h>   static void clock_setup(void) { rcc_clock_setup_in_hsi_out_48mhz();   /* Enable GPIOA, GPIOB, GPIOC clock. */ rcc_periph_clock_enable(RCC_GPIOA); rcc_periph_clock_enable(RCC_GPIOB); rcc_periph_clock_enable(RCC_GPIOC); rcc_periph_clock_enable(RCC_DBGMCU);   /* Enable clocks for GPIO port B and C*/ gpio_mode_setup(GPIOA, GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT,

I'm using CubeMX for code generation.I configured my MCU (STM32F103VET6) for PWM generation on Timer 2 Channel 2 using DMA (DMA 1 channel 7), Memory to Peripherial; PWM data stored in array. All works good, if I fill data array programmatically. When I read data to array from SPI flash (I checked readed array in debugger, it contains right data), I cannot start PWM DMA.For firmware versions before 1.8.0 (I've checked 1.6.1 and 1.7.0) call of HAL_SPI_Transmit() changes hdma->State to HAL_DMA_STATE_RESET (so HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_DMA() will not start at all). Firmware versions 1.8.0 keeps hdma->State value HAL_DMA_STATE_READY after HAL_SPI_Transmit(), but HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_DMA() falls into HardFault.Unfortunately, cannot check SPI2 and SPI3, only SPI1 is available on board. Is it normal behaviour for this MCU?

I think I read that I can do this "ON THE FLY" - without DEINIT - REINIT the ADC but I'm getting odd results. Seems sometimes it switches and sometimes it does NOT ?I'm going to tinker a bit further but if I am missing a "forest for the trees" thing here, please nudge me in the right direction or maybe confirm that I did at least understand that I should be able to do this.ThanksRandy

Hello, I have a STM32F746G-DISCO which has a microcontroller with 1 Mbytes of Flash memory and 340 Kbytes of RAM. However, I would need more space for my bigger Keras/TensorFlow models. I have noticed that this Discovery board comes with 128 Mbit Quad-SPI Flash memory, as well as 64 Mbit SDRAM. Would it be possible to use the QSPI Flash memory to store the weights and the SDRAM as an extension of the 1 Mbytes RAM of the microcontroller? I have seen examples of code in the STM32Cube F7 Firmware package that makes use of the QSPI Flash memory and SDRAM, however I am not sure if those examples could be integrated with the X-CUBE-AI generated code in the way that I described, and what the implications of that would be. I know that there is already the possibility to quantize Keras weights, but I would still be interested in using those extended memory if possible.Thank you and kind regards

Hi,I'm surveying st25r3911b now. Currently, I have verified SPI, register read/write, IRQ handler, TX process, but not RX process. So far, I can get the necessary IRQ, but I can't get the correct data in FIFO.I make the following steps to test RX process:prepare TX data (13 bytes non-zero raw data) from one EVM, that can be triggered manually.perform TX process once.read FIFO data after IRQ RXS got.check RX log as following: IRQ: 0x00001002IRQ: 0x00000802IRQ: 0x00001002IRQ: 0x00000802IRQ: 0x00001002IRQ: 0x00000802IRQ: 0x00001002IRQ: 0x00000802IRQ: 0x00001002IRQ: 0x00000020bytesToRead 3bytesToRead 4bytesToRead 3bytesToRead 4bytesToRead 2bytesToRead 0receive FIFOIndex: 16received data:0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 IRQ: 0x00000812About the log, I have two questions:In my understanding, the length of RX data is less than water level threshold, so it should be received in one FIFO reading

In **STM32Cube FW_L4 V1.13.0**,the HAL Library's SD driver has a typo in the register macro definitions for the SDMMC's power register.Specifically in the file `stm32;4s9xx.h`, lines *18127* -> *18141* the HAL library generates:``` C/****************** Bit definition for SDMMC_POWER register ******************/#define SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL_Pos (0U)#define SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL_Msk (0x3UL << SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL_Pos) /*!< 0x00000003 */#define SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL_Msk /*!#define SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL_0 (0x1UL << SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL_Pos) /*!< 0x00000001 */#define SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL_1 (0x2UL << SDMMC_POWER_PWRCTRL_Pos) /*!< 0x00000002 */#define SDMMC_POWER_VSWITCH_Pos (2U)#define SDMMC_POWER_VSWITCH_Msk (0x1UL << SDMMC_POWER_VSWITCH_Pos) /*!< 0x00000004 */#define SDMMC_POWER_VSWITCH SDMMC_POWER_VSWITCH_Pos /*!#define SDMMC_POWER_VSWITCHEN_Pos (3U)#define SDMMC_POWER_VSWITCHEN_Msk (0x1UL << SDMMC_POWER_VSWITCHEN_Pos) /*!< 0x000000

Hi all,ADC triggering appears to be at half the frequency of the timer, (ie occurs every 2 update events), is this expected ?This is with a STM32F334 progammed using HAL and with code generated by CubeMX.I am reading 14 ADC channels using DMA (2x7 in simultaneous sampling), with interrupt at end of all conversions (HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback), values are found correct in the DMA buffer. In the attached first picture, the top trace is the duration of the interrupt routine (level is high while in the routine), the bottom trace is channel 3 of TIM2 as PWM (2us every 20us), channel 1 of TIM2 update event being used as the TRGO source for the ADC. 7,9us is the conversion time from update event.I would have expected having twice the number of conversions and interrupt calls (one per timer pulse).I am currently using the obvious workaround that is: speed up the counter by reducing the divisor.Has anyone noticed the behavior I am describing ?Thanks

We have found that the NRST pin is in Low state after start. This is problem for us because we'd like to use OpenOCD in JTAG mode and OpenOCD will send an active low pulse to NRST pin. Is there any solution for this? Or any other stm32 eval board...

Hello,I have a small issue with my code. Hello!SYSCFG_MEMRMP bits MemMode[2:0] reflect the mapping of pins Boot0 and Boot1.Bits are RW and allow mapping of SystemMemory (Bootloader) to 0x00000000 (Start address after reset). This would generate the idea of switching to the bootloader by changing these bits. BUT: When do the changes take effect? How to change to start address after switching the code areas? Is there documentation for this method? The alternative method of invocation of the bootloader via a call is already understood. Thanks and rgds

Hello,I am trying to add serial communication to the designer generated gui code. I used the blank template from TouchGFX designer for STM32F469I-disco board. Gui works fine, but I cannot manage to add my own code to it. I guess I need to edit the target/gcc/Makefile and add the files to specific locations, but I cannot find any information to where/how.Files:serial.c/serial.h // serial implementation that uses LL drivers and FreeRTOS   /* Snippet from serial.h */ #include "FreeRTOS.h" #include "task.h" #include "queue.h" #include "semphr.h"   #include "stm32f4xx.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_rcc.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_bus.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_cortex.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_dma.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_gpio.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_usart.h"   #include <string.h>FreeRTOS files are already included in the generated code by TouchGFX designer. I need to add LL drivers and serial.c/.h to the project. I already tried just copying files to target/ and including th
