I'm looking for an AppNote or example showing how to enter STOP2 mode with BLE advertising enabled (low consumption, but BLE advertising). And how to : on any BLE connection, exit from STOP2.

Doing some electrical testing of a board I got back recently and It seems that the internal pullup of pin PA2 is applied at reset. Before flashing the device it seems that this pin is sitting high, and the voltage I see is consistent with the approx 40K of an internal pullup.PA2 is one of 5 wakeup pins. Can't see any reference to this pins pullup being engaged by default in the datasheet.Could it be that the pull-up is engaged by default rather than floating HiZ input as in the datasheet?

Hi I'm Using STM32l552QE MCU, so downloaded the ibis model of that MCU,But i found that the same packages are differentiated with _p &_q( stm32l552_562_ufbga132_p,stm32l552_562_ufbga132 & stm32l552_562_ufbga132_q).Kindly help me to know difference.stm32l552_562_ufbga132,stm32l552_562_ufbga132_p.ibs,stm32l552_562_ufbga132_q.ibs are the models.I have tried checking but, i couldn't find the difference.Kindly help me to know the difference.

Hi,I have several projects in SPC5Studio and I want to have common files shared by them, in order to modify these common files only once. So I'm trying to use linked files. I have introduced a linked folder in my project by selecting:New project/Advanced/Link to alternate location (Linked folder)/BrowseThe folder is included as linked folder. The problem is that when I build the project I get an error, because common files are not found. What am I doing wrong? Is this the right way to have common files shared by several projects in SPC5Studio?Thank you in advance for your help.

0x1000 is listed twice (for A, 1.0 and Z, 1.1). Furthermore, I came across a G030J6 with 0x1001, which does not exist according to this table. Package bears 'Z' as rev code.

Hi All,We are using SPC560pxx series development board and it is configured with SPI,CAN,UART,ADC,DMA,PWM,ICU and other modules. We initialized the PWM, it's running proper for few seconds. But after some time, PWM stops generating interrupts. We checked it by toggling GPIO in the ISR.We have some confusions to understand it.  1. How the controller is ignoring PWM interrupt?2. How we can make user controller should handle all the interrupts. 3. How we can sequence the ISR handling? Please help me to solve this problem.Thanks,Basava.

Hello, there's problem when trying to build the project (Regardless which of the Web Motor Control Demos I choose). The steps I made are:1.) Import samples from application2.) Choose one of the motor control applications3.) Generate the SPC5 Application4.) Build the SPC5 ApplicationThe last step generates following error message:./components/spc56xx_web_motor_control_component/lib/System_Drive_Params/src/Spc5xxx_MC_it.c:48:21: fatal error: pal_lld.h: No such file or directory #include "pal_lld.h"Which is a bit strange, since I didn't make any changes to the configuration. Can you please help?

hi everyone, why I'm getting this error?

I am looking a STM board that contains the SPI controller that exercise the ssp_pl022_r1p3 prime cell IP, http://infocenter.arm.com/help/topic/com.arm.doc.ddi0194g/DDI0194G_ssp_pl022_r1p3_trm.pdf.Thanks for your help for providing the information.

I have a small BLDC motor with magnetic encoder (like this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33053552345.html) and would like to set up a position control. The NUCLEO-IHM03 comes pretty close https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/evaluation-tools/product-evaluation-tools/stm32-nucleo-expansion-boards/p-nucleo-ihm03.html and I think I can use it from the hardware side. In this demo, no encoder is used, but connecting the AS5048A via SPI (for absolute position output) should not be a problem. I am not so sure about the software. I have tried the motor control workbench, but this only seems to focus on speed control. There is a torque mode available, which would mean I would have to add a PID position controller on top. I could do BLDC/FOC from scratch if necessary, but would like to minimize effort by re-using an existing project. Can the motor control workbench do this or is it for low speed fan and compressor stuff only?

Hi All,I'm working on the SPC560Pxx series development board and using SPC5 studio application to build my code, I have uploded my IDE. Since it is update, generate option is the IDE is showing below messages. Could you please anyone suggest me how to solve this issue OR let me know which sofrware I need to update and solve this issue, thanksBasava.

Hello everyone,I would like to use the Uart over BLE with the STM32WB55.I'm not very familiar with BLE, but as I understood for now, Uart over BLE is not a Bluetooth SIG standard, but people have been developing custom services for it.I couldn't find any example with the STM32WB55, does any have one with that?I'm a looking for what is called a GATT server ?Moreover, in STM32_WPAN middleware, I could find theses UUIDs. They seem to be related with my need but I'm not sure how to use it./* Custom Services*/ /* UUIDs for data transfer service */ #define DATA_TRANSFER_SERVICE_UUID (0xFE80) #define DATA_TRANSFER_TX_CHAR_UUID (0xFE81) #define DATA_TRANSFER_RX_CHAR_UUID (0xFE82)Best regards,Rico

I just need to verify the board design, (that the uP can reach the M24SR on i2c). The documentation seems to assume knowledge of the ISO protocols and I can't find complete packet examples.

Edits: see updates below for listen stateGenerated code using the latest CubeIDE . I2C_GetMode is always 00h. Hi, I’m trying to use the cryptographic library on a board based on STM32L152CBT6-A to encrypt data to be sent. I tried to replace the files inside the “Driver? folder but it did not work. Does anyone know how to use the library and import it correctly on System Workbench?

Can I use FreeRTOS when using MVP?

HelloTouch controllers vary depending on the LCD panel. It seems that the controller called FT6206 is used in STM32F769I-DISCO.If I use another controller, do I have to create the driver software from scratch? What should I refer to?Thank you.

The pinout of the connector and USB controller I am using means that I need to flip the differential signals either side of the ECMF4-20A42N10.The layout would be a lot cleaner if I could swap D+/- signals on this device. For example:Swap Pins 9/10 and 1/2. So the flow through direction is still the same, but D+/- signals are swapped. From the representation diagram in the datasheet it appears I can, but I would like to confirm please. Thanks,Peter

Posted on December 13, 2017 at 17:05Hi,I am attempting to establish an MQTT connection with mutual TLS authentication to a AWS IoT Endpoint. The command I use is AT+S.MQTTCONN=♯♯♯♯♯.iot.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com,443,,2,,,,,,,, (I only paste the hostname partially for security reasons). There seems to be some issue validating the server-side certificate, since we always receive the following error:AT-S.Certificate Error:11According to UM2114, the error means Parsing the signature failed, but I fail to understand which certificate (client, server or ca) is failing.I have already added the AWS IoT root certificate, client certificate and client private key into the filesystem, according to the convention specified in AN4963 (tls.cert, tls.key and <auth-id>.ca files). It may be worth mentioning that even if no certificates are loaded, the same error is still shown; this leads me to believe the failure should occur when parsing the server certificate. Is the problem caused by my wrong usag

I create a new thread related to this with more detailed information. First of all thanks for the response, I had seen the datasheet of BM019 not the one of CR95HF which is quite more complete. Second the logic analyzer I use is Pulseview it allows me to export the capture data, I attach 2 session data, one for Arduino and the same schedule in esp8266.My main code is quite similar to the official code of the BM019 sensor for Arduino, I do many other things for processing data but read with the sensor is basically the same. I'm going to focus on the 3 step necessaries to read the tag.First of all is necessary send a setProtocol command in order to get the NFC ready, this works fine on both boards. The command I send (but I test with many other commands) is the inventory command, if NFC is in range they read the data. According to the official documentation, sending a command requires 3 steps. First step is sending via SPI a predefined bytes that represents the command in the case of inv

Hi, I'm new to this IDE and STM32 (I came from AVR) and I try to prepare an environment to work. My target is to have one workspace location to work on my project on two computers in local network. One of them is Ubuntu and other WIN10. I've created directory on Ubuntu and set it as Workspace in STM32IDE. On Ubuntu everything work fine but under WIN I receive message that there is no .project file. On WIN I've mapped Ubuntu location as remote disc and all location and .project file is visible from file explorer.

I have successfully logged in and when I am trying to view certain pages related to the TouchGFX I get an error "Not Authorized to View Page". I was able to view the Hardware selection guide a few weeks back and all of a sudden I am getting this error. Here is an example of the error when accessing this page: https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204993902-Porting-to-STM32F4-F7-boardsThanks,Yogesh

I apologize if this is a very simple question, but I can't seem to figure out how to change the color of a Circle in my TouchGFX project.I know that for a Box, I can do something like...box1.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(0, 0, 255)); box1.invalidate();I would like to do the equivalent but for a Circle, however there is no setColor() method.I understand that Circles have something called a painter, which allows me to do...circle1Painter.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(0, 0, 255);...but I do not know how to re-draw the circle with the updated painter.I've tried...circle1.setPainter(circle1Painter); const Rect rect(0, 0, circle1.getWidth(), circle1.getHeight()); circle1.drawCanvasWidget(rect); circle1.invalidate();but this did not work.I appreciate any advice you can provide.

Hi! I am new to stm and recently started working on Nucleo 144 board. After powering on the board, the user LEDs start blinking in different frequencies after we press the push button. I wondered if this program is preloaded on flash?
