Dear ST Hello, could you tell me please the real clock value set in this example,\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.25.1\Projects\STM32F429I-Discovery\Examples\SPI\SPI_FullDuplex_ComDMAThe clock frequency between master and slave must be equal, does the frequency communication is imposed by the master since they have to be the same?Thank you in advance,S.Tarik,

Hello, want to make a full analog synthesizer with just a screen for monitoring. We would therefore need a lot of ADC and GPIO pins to know the potentiometer value. We have seen STM boards with integrated LCDs, it would help us enormously but I cannot find the pins which are free to retrieve the information from the synthesizer.

I am using STM32H743ZI2. I am confused timer internal clock. In F4, I can easily find which clock to control which timer, in h7 series manual, I can't find it easily. anybody knows that?

I'm looking for CAD symbols and footprint for STM32MP15x in LFBGA-354 package. Could you guys help me on this? Thank you.

Hello, Can you please suggest a drop-in replacement for the part: PSD4256G6V-10UI This seems to be a obsolete part.Thank you very much, Bijith

In the first row - corresponds to "Pin Number" D2 for WLCSP81, Alternate functions column, it has:TIM3_CH4,RTIM1_CHE2It should be:TIM3_CH4,HRTIM1_CHE2I emphasized the "H" to make it clear that it is missing. I think this is the only place I saw this.

Hi All,I am using STM32H7 to write the SD card. The SD card is 16GB. But when I call HAL_SD_WriteBlocks, I found it only accept under 4GB(uint32_t) address. Here is header declaration. HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_SD_ReadBlocks   (SD_HandleTypeDef *hsd, uint8_t *pData, uint32_t BlockAdd, uint32_t NumberOfBlocks, uint32_t Timeout);Does anyone have ideal for that?

Hello,In STM32WB exemple BLE_HeartRate, i can see the name of HeartRate service on my phone (like image). But when i create my own service, how can i set a name for it ?Thank you.

ST25R3916 is having issues, pointing to a layout issue but hoping for some insight also on the schematic (both attached). Have broken our board out and running the ST25R dev kit via SPI with our STM32 no problem pointing to issues with the ST25R. Pursuing layout issues "grounding/current loops" causing a potential brown out of the ST25. Any thoughts on schematic or layout would be great.

I am new to BLCD & want to develop BLDC drive for motor to be used in parking systems .Any on who can suggest where to start with.

hello everyone，In order to obtain higher accuracy, I switch direct mode to snap mode, and add relevant C and H files and related codes in MCU code（The flag bit is set in the timer interrupt of 1K frequency. The flag bit is detected in the main function and the DumpTrace function is run）.However, when I configure the corresponding detection variables in cubemonitor and start to collect data, the connection failure will appear as shown in the figure, which may be my operation error?Thank you for your help!

Hello,We have a final design for our UI, with all of the elements and widgets decided. We would like to be able to make the color of the Application light-themed and dark-themed (similar to how in a source code editor, you can have a light-theme and dark-theme).We would like to be able to change the theme during run-time, so that the customer can select which color option is best for them.Is there a built-in way of doing this? The only ideas we have is either:1) Deciding in the constructor of each Screen View, which color the Texts, Widgets, etc shall be, as well as which background images to load.2) Creating a light-themed screen and a dark-themed screen for everything (which makes maintenance awfully tedious and difficult.

I was trying to program STM32 to read the values and toggle the LED, but it didn't work. Please help

Hi guys, I am new to STM32F769I-Disco and I‘ve got an error by trying to connect the STM to my pc. In the STM32CubeIDE 1.4.0 I got the message: No-ST-Link detectedIn ST-Link-Utility i got the same message. ST-Link-Utility -> about: ST-Link-utility: v4.5.0; USBDriver.dll v5.1.2; ST-Link cli v3.5.Additionaly no USB-Device is shown in my device-manger and the LD8(ST-Link connection) is blinking red. The display and so on is working well. I powered the board with usbhs and LD5 is green and LD6 is red. Before I have worked with the same pc with STM32L0 and F1and both are ok. I’m able to connect in the IDE and in ST-Link-Utilities.The ST-Link Debug version is 2.1.0.0. I dont know what goes wrong.. I changed the usb cables and ports but no success. Does anyone have an idea where the problem is ?

Hello I am trying to get design First pcb for stm32f7 but having a trouble understanding refrence design concept. https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00164549-getting-started-with-stm32f7-series-mcu-hardware-development-stmicroelectronics.pdfI searched a lot on the stm32 website and from reference manual to reference hardware manual. but i only find one figure which is mentioned in this pdf . but the problem is it is only for STM32F756NGH6 so the reference design is same for all the stm32f7 ? Will it work for stm32f767zi ? or there is another hardware manual i have to refer, if yes than please guide me through that reference manual.

Hi,I have a problem when using a dynamic bitmap (no problems in simulator, only on MCU).No problems arise when calling the Bitmap::dynamicBitmapCreate() function, it returns a valid bitmap_id, but then when I set an Image with this bitmap_id, things go wrong. We keep getting into the DMA2D_IRQHandler() untill the watchdog resets the MCU.When inspecting the registers, I saw that in DMA2D->ISR the CEIF (configuration error) is set.void DMA2D_IRQHandler(void) { if (DMA2D->ISR & 2) { DMA2D->IFCR = 2;   //invalidate D-Cache after DMA transfer SCB_CleanInvalidateDCache();   touchgfx::HAL::getInstance()->signalDMAInterrupt(); }Does anyone have an idea what can be the problem? Thanks in advance!Kind regards,Jens JonckheerePlatform info:STM32F7678 MB external SDRAM

The 2 instances where hfdcan->Instance->TXBAR is written in stm32h7xx_hal_fdcan.c (as means of activating a TX reqeust for a given CANFD packet) use a direct value assignment to the register:hfdcan->Instance->TXBAR = BufferIndex;hfdcan->Instance->TXBAR = ((uint32_t)1 << PutIndex); From my current understanding of the Reference manual (RM0433 Rev 7) shouldn't these have been "|=" instead? As it is, they will overwrite to 0 non related bits, thus not preserve the TX request of previously queued and yet not sent packets... Or did I miss something on how TXBAR should work?

Hy, I have a Nucleo STM32H743ZI2 and I need use the pin PF_1 and pin PF_2. I search in pinout and the position of PF_1 and PF_2 doesn't correspond in the board, in that position figure (NC)Tanks!

Posted on December 29, 2017 at 13:54Hello everyone, I am trying to use MQTT protocol on my STM32 board with SIM7000 as slave. if anyone had worked in such fashion, please can you share code snippets or library file used?? Is there any generalized library file for STM32?Thank you#stm32 #stm32l0 #stm32l0-stm32l0-discovery #mqtt

I need to know routin to use multiple LIS2DS12TR on one SPI if it's possible. If I undestood correctly nCS pin used to selecting between I2C and SPI mode. So if CS is high, SDO is open-drain. Is I need to simply connect SDO pins of LIS2DS12TR (may be with pull-up resistor) and disable I2C mode during init. procedure: I2C_DISABLE bit in CTRL2 register should override nCS pin. Or, may be use of external multiplexor or tri-state buffer is need?

Hi All, I am trying to merge FP-IND-PREDMNT1 [WIFI] with AMicArray_UltrasoundFFT application. Has anyone tried it before? Are there any suggestion or advice?More importantly I need to know if this is possible? are there any limitations?@Eleon BORLINI Please advice. Thanks in advance.Kind RegardsChandrashekar C

Hi Community,I am using Lis3dh sensor in 50HZ ODR, High Pass filter enabled with cut-off frequency 0.1 HZ with full scale range 8G and FIFO is enabled and set FIFO-to-Stream Mode.Case 1: I get interrupts for small events Normal Mode(HR bit is not set) for the same threshold and when i see the x,y,z axis value is more than the threshold. Case 2:With HR Bit enabled , I am not getting the interrupt for the same small event for the same threshold which means that event didn't cross the threshold. I am sure both time same events only happened. As per Datasheet and Application note, that Output value only will be in 12-bit in High resolution mode.Is there HR bit anyway related to do with Threshold? Please help me .Thanks,Hari

Hi there! What is the correct procedure to change the S2-LP's frequency after it has been initialized with a call to S2LP_RADIO_Init()?After I call S2LP_RADIO_SetFrequencyBase() the S2-LP appears to lock up. MC_STATE1 = 0x52 and MC_STATE0 = 0x29 which means that the state value is an invalid value of 0x14 which indicates an error condition or hardware issue. Thanks in advance,Pieterhttps://piconomix.com
