In our application we have an application in which the ST25DV04K is used for a smartphone APP to conduct readouts. Behind we have STM32L011xxx which makes some calculations as well and the result is stored in the ST25DV04Kxxx. We would like to program the STM32L0 via NFC so we get rid of the connector and make the product smaller and compact. Do you have a best case for firmaware flashen over NFC - People told me that we need initially a boot programm, but this doesn´t solve the problem, as we would something to flash Bootprogramm either. Man thanks for your suggestion, Christian

I want to quickly verify the SWD debug interface of my new H7 MCU. These is no firmware can be downloaded to MCU so that I need to just verify the MCU and debug can work. It is pure hardware test.

Hello everyone! Is it possible to initialize an I2S interface using LL drivers? There is only one option in the CubeMX (project manager->advanced settings): HAL. Other peripherals (for example I2C, TIM, USART, SPI) have 2 options HAL/LL. Is it any sense to use LL with I2S at all? Thanks for response!

Hello, my question implies that there is no value for TS_CAL2 available for the STM32G070, although its reference manual RM0454 describes it on page 292 (14.9 Temperature sensor and internal reference voltage: Reading the temperature). Since there is also TS_CAL2 not mentioned in the data sheet, I could also ask: what is the right address in system memory for TS_CAL2? When I take the address from a STM32G071 device an calculate with this value in my STM32G070RB the temperature value makes no sense...

HI,I'm using STM32f4 and I'm trying to calculate rotation speed using Hall sensors.Idea is to use TIM4 and 3 Hall sensors in 3 channels in caputre compare mode to calculate time between two edges. I know how to do that, but the problem is that I need information about the falling or rising edge to know on what angle is rotor.I need angle to calculate rotation speed, the difference between to captures will never be exactly 60 deegres. I' am also planing to do calibration of hall sensors to know angle precisely .So is it possible to detect rising/falling edge using timer or is there some other way to do it ?Thanks,Domagoj.

Dear all,I need geneate an interruption about 5Mhz to access to an external device using FMC. I am trying to use a Timer to generate that interrupt but I do not get the results I expect. On STM32F429 and STM32CubeIDE, I config timer 10 with the following setup:Internal APB2 42MhzPreescaler 0counter mode upcounter period: 41Internal clock division: Noauto-reload: Disable.I understand well, with this setup, I divide clock 42Mhz/42= 1Mhz, but not even get 1Mhz.Does anyone knows if this I am doing is correct? What is the maximum interrupt frequency I can get?Is there any other way to get an even up to 5Mhz?Thanks in advance,Joaquin.

I'm getting value from LM35 sensor and i am converting it to celcius. Then I am trying to send it to serial port via UART but i couldn't do it. What codes should i use to convert data to bits. Thanks.

D20 separates Field GND from PGND. Why?Is it recommended for the CLT-01 or the VNI8200XP or both? What is the probable drawback of connecting the 2 nets without this diode protection?

I'am using STM32WLE5JB with LOWPOWERMODE_STOP(0,1,2) to deacrease power consumption. Although I configured LPTIM with LSE for 2 sec period to wake up, device doesnt exit from stop mode. I tried LPTIM with LSI the result was same. Here is My code LPTIM Init:__HAL_RCC_LPTIM1_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_LPTIM1_CLK_SLEEP_ENABLE();   __HAL_RCC_LPTIM1_CONFIG(source);   LPTIM1->IER = 0; LPTIM1->IER |= LPTIM_IER_ARRMIE; //Autoreload match Interrupt Enable   LPTIM1->CR |= LPTIM_CR_ENABLE; // Enable LPTIM1   LPTIM1->ARR = autoReload; // set AutoReloadRegister 32768/65536 = 0.5 Hz   while(LPTIM1->ISR & LPTIM_ISR_ARROK != LPTIM_ISR_ARROK);   LPTIM1->ICR |= LPTIM_ICR_ARROKCF; // clear IRQ flags // Enable timer counting LPTIM1->CR |= LPTIM_CR_CNTSTRT; // Start LPTIMRCC initRCC->CR |= (uint32_t)0x00000100; RCC->CR &= ~RCC_CR_HSION; tmp = RCC->ICSCR; tmp &= ~RCC_CR_MSIRANGE; tmp |= RCC_CR_MSIRANGE_6; __HAL_RCC_MSI

I'm using an STLKT01V1 SensorTile, which is based on STM32L476.Since STLKT01V1 cannot select DFU update with the hardware, in my firmware I implemented a function for jumping to the embedded bootloader, as described into the application note, and this works fine. However, the problems are:1) I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64bit and the DFUse application doesn't find the device. The driver seems installed correctly, although I see a message that could be translated as "the device needs an additional installation".Instead, if I boot my PC with Windows 7 32bit, I had no problems: the DFUse utility finds the device and flashes it correctly.2) It seems that something is wrong with the DFU file generated by the DFU file manager. From Windows 7, I flashed the device but after I reset it, I discovered that it does not work. With Segger JLINK, I read the content of the flash memory and I discovered that the final ~1000 bytes of the firmware were not written. I tried to flash the device several times and

How can I change the position of figure(such as the START button,GAUGE panel) in STM32CubeMonitor?Thanks.

I'm trying to add FATFS to by CubeMX project targeting the STM32F767 processor. Even though I've enabled the SDMMC1 interface the only FATFS mode I can tick is 'User-defined'. Why is the 'SD Card' greyed.

HI everyone!Recently I designed my own PCB, upload the program and successfully started to read/write the tag.Now I want to evaluate my board (how good the signals and antenna are, amplitude, phase, amplification, etc.)Can you suggest me any possibility to get as much us possible information about "How good my PCB" is?Someone of you also mentioned that It's possible to measure CSO/CSI pin with oscilloscopeI will be happy any of your information,Domen Ivanc

I'm trying out the graph, but cannot get the labels visible? What am I missing?I just enabled Major X label, but there is nothing that I can see in Designer or flashed target.Graph line has plenty of room around it.

I'was looking how to calibrate the touch panel. I'm using actualy the STM32F769I-Discovery.In the user manual 'STM32CubeF7 demonstration platform' UM1906 there was touch screen calibration mentioned, but I didn't find more information until yet.Is calibration still needed for capacitive touchs or is this a relict from resistive touchs? If calibration is needed: When is the touch screen calibration recommended (during production, from the user)? How is the touch screen calibration done (are there any documentation from ST)?

Is it possible to control LTDC on STM32MP157 by Cortex M4 co-processor?I have noticed that there is no available HAL driver for LTDC on STM32MP157.Why is it so? Can we use the HAL driver for LTDC intended for STM32H7 processors on STM32MP157?

I tried to update my project to version 1.2.0 and it didn't work. I now also found out that the precompiled version for the stm32f4 doesn't work. Also if I compile it by myself it doesn't work.I get a valid ip with dhcp but the ip gets released immediately. Is this an error on my side? It did work with previous versions. But as a lot of network stuff has changed in 1.2, I'm not sure if there may be a bug. Let me know if i can help with further infos

When I use .ioc file to generate the codes, it delete the entire project folder (include git information). Looks like I lose all the commits I haven't pushed to github. WTH is that.

Hello everybody, I'm working with my SensorTile development kit (STEVAL-STLKT01V1) for a short time now and I'm trying to get it working. I can connect to the sensor board via bluetooth using my iphone and the ST BLE Sensor App and on the PC (Win10) via Unicleo-GUI. I have seen in the introduction videos that you can set the individual measuring ranges via Unicleo - but I can't find these Settings on Unicleo-GUI.So I have some questions:Do I need a different firmware on my SensorTile to get into extended datalog mode? Can I update the firmware via the ST BLE Sensor App or do I need an external SWD dubugger? Can someone please give me a hint?

Trying and failing to toggle LED 7 of the STM32MP157C-DK2 from the STM32. The IOC file indicates that PH7 is configured as GPIO. The mode is Output Push Pull, the GPIO Pull-up/Pull-down state is No pull-up and no-pull-down. The Maximum output speed is Low. I have added the following lines to the following lines to main.c: while (1) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOH, GPIO_PIN_7); HAL_Delay(1000);  /* USER CODE END WHILE */The code is executing but the LED is not changing state. I looked in the MX_GPIO_Init() on the STM32 side and there appears to be no code to setup the GPIO port:static void MX_GPIO_Init(void){ /* GPIO Ports Clock Enable */ __HAL_RCC_GPIOC_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOH_CLK_ENABLE();}I looked in the CA7 side at the kernel dts file and could find no reference to GPIO H7. From what I read in the documentation I thought the STM32CubeIDE was supposed to generate the setup code for this port. I am using the OpenSTL v2.0.0 Starter Kit image.Does anyone have

Me and my team have been working for a while now on the Stm32 workbench. The Motor Profiler calculates the parameters for the motor, and are then they are imported to the workbench to generate code to TrueStudio IDE. We are facing some issues with driving the motor and have been following the instructions and steps in the "STM32 PMSM FOC SDK Frequently-asked questions (FAQ)" pdf found below, but the same problems are still occurring and no change at all in the motor behaviour.Problems occuring are:1. In the Motor Profiler Software, the motor does not stabilize at the low RPM below 1000 - 1200 RPM, but at higher RPM the motor stabilizes. 2. In TrueStudio the motor works for a few seconds and then stops immediately while the rest of the code works normally. As if the pwm breaks, the Methods used in the TrueStudio code are  MC_ProgramSpeedRampMotor1( 1000, 500 );MC_StartMotor1();Motors used: bly172s-24v-4000 Anaheim AutomationQBL4208-61-04-013

Hi everyone,I have been stuck at a problem. Initially i tryied to upgrade the firmware on SensorTile.box through the ST BLE Sensor App with some demos without any problems.Once i tryied to upgrade the BLEFOTA_BL_1.0.0.bin file through the app, so, without any modification of the firmware, and the SensorTile.box seems to not work. In particular it isn't sensed by the USB connector and by the Bluetooth, so i can't upgrade the firmware yto make it working again. What can i do in order to reset it in some way? Thanks

Hello!I have created a new project based on the ST example BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS. I made the comparisons between both projects and added what was missing in my project. I think that I have copied everything that I should but the advertising doesn't start. The program doesn't achieve the function APP_BLE_Init . It should propably be called by the task ShciUserEvtProcessId = osThreadNew(ShciUserEvtProcess, NULL, &ShciUserEvtProcess_attr); but it doesn't happen. When I pause the debugging the program goes to function vPortValidateInterruptPriority . Could someone help to solve this issue?
