Hi,I am trying out the following tutorial: https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/tutorials/tutorial-01, which is very basic.In the "Running an Example on an STM32 Evaluation Kit" section, when pressing run target, everything compiles, the MCU is loaded, but the external memory is not programmed.(I still get the Done message...)Looking at the extflash.bin size, it is over 2GB!I did not modify the example in any way.Looking at the Images and Texts, there is nothing extra and it shouldn't use much more than a few MB.Did anybody successfully run this example?Setup:TouchGFX Designer 4.15.0STM32F746G-DiscoThanks,Franck.

Hi following a reset by the IWDG, does the SRAM1 or SRAM2 keep their content?Thanks

I'm trying to set up SPI transfer via DMA which is triggered by LPTIM1 on STM32H745IIK6. Unfortunately for some reason, no SPI activity is present regardless of the config register values, which seem to be correct. Here's the LPTIM1 and DMA1 config:And I'm starting the timer with:HAL_LPTIM_Init(&hlptim1); HAL_LPTIM_Counter_Start(&hlptim1, 190); HAL_LPTIM_PWM_Start(&hlptim1, 190, 95);And trying to initialize DMA with:HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA(&hspi1, (uint8_t*)&spi_tx_buffer, (uint8_t*)&spi_rx_buffer, 1);LPTIM1 output works, I can see it on the PD13, but as I said, no activity on any of the SPI pins.Can you give me some pointers regarding the initialization of automatic SPI DMA transfer which is triggered by LPTIM1? I have tried to follow a few examples from this forum which use direct writing to registers but none of them work?

Hi all,I have a complex system with several STM32H743 processors, 1 Master, 6 Slave processors. The Master sequentially reads data from all Slaves via Interrupt handling. SPI clock speed is 16 MHz, access to data reads (108 Bytes each Read) every 10 ms.The communication runs properly for some hours but then suddenly one or more SPI ports do not send out clocks anymore - thus no further data is read. I detected that the MASTER Bit in CFG2 register is reset in this case (which of course causes that no clocks are output) I use MXCube code (Version 1.2) and the call to "HAL_SPI_ReceiveIT" returns "HAL_OK". But no data is received due to missing Clocks for the SPI.Can anybody tell, what could cause the Master Bit to be reset (without calling HAL_SPI_Init or reconfiguring the SPI) ?The other registers look ok (SPE = 1, CSTART = 1, TXTF=1, TXP=1, Interrupts are enabled).Any help very much appreciated!

How do I have to set the configuration of the FDCAN Message RAM Start Adresses correctly in order to use 2 CANFDs simultaneously?Is there an example which shows a correct initialisation? The default samples initialize all start Adresses to 0, but this leads to Message corruption!Here my sample code: Would this be correct?   if (nCan == CAN0)   {      phCan->Instance = FDCAN1;      uCANOffset = 0;   }   else   {      phCan->Instance = FDCAN2;      uCANOffset = 1024;   }   phCan->msgRam.StandardFilterSA = 0;   phCan->msgRam.ExtendedFilterSA = 0;   // Start-Adressen für Message-RAM:   phCan->msgRam.RxFIFO0SA = 0+uCANOffset;   phCan->msgRam.RxFIFO1SA = 512+ uCANOffset;   phCan-

Hello,I am currently trying to transmit CAN frames from my SPC570S-DISP board. The board is connected to a verified working CAN node that is expecting frames at 500 kbps. I am able to write to the CAN buffers and get the CAN core to transmit, but it transmits the same nonsensical frame regardless of the input parameters (data, ID, RTR, IDE, SRR, length). To send these frames, I configure the CAN core to the timing settings I need, then I configure a TX and RX MB, then I write the data and ID to a TX MB, then I set the TX MB code to 0x0C to initiate a transmission. I then await for the TX MB code to return to 0x08, which never happens. I observe the following frame on my scope, repeated every 4 ms or so:The bit widths are as expected: multiples of 2 us. The first dominant section is 17 bits long, followed by repeated patterns of 25 bits recessive and 1 bit dominant. No matter what settings I put into the TX MB, the result is the same. What additional settings need to be set for the tran

Hi again, I'm attempting to use the I2S peripheral on the STM32H7, and the CubeMX produces half-duplex code. Here you see that I'm using an STM32H743, selected I2S, full-duplex slave, but the only choices of mode I get are Mode Slave Transmit and Mode Slave Receive. There is no full duplex mode selectable. In addition, when I have mode slave transmit enabled, the data is spit out on the wrong pin (PA6 instead of PA7). There is literally no code change between selecting 'Full-Duplex Slave' and 'Half-Duplex Slave', but there is a change in the .ioc file. Any thoughts on how to make full duplex work? Any idea if this is a known problem in the CubeMX software?In my case, I'm lucky, an only *require* the transmit, and not so much the receive.Thanks so much!-Caleb

I'm trying to talk to a device that sends a 122 byte message every 500 milliseconds at 115.2 KBaud. I can make it work with HAL_UART_Receive_IT() in a while loop as shown here. #include <stm32l4xx_hal.h> #include <stm32_hal_legacy.h>   #include <iostream> #include <string.h> using namespace std; #ifdef __cplusplus extern "C" #endif void SysTick_Handler(void) { HAL_IncTick(); HAL_SYSTICK_IRQHandler(); }   void lpuart1RXIdleCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart); void configureUART();   static UART_HandleTypeDef s_UARTHandle = UART_HandleTypeDef();   #define RXBufferSize 122 static uint8_t RXBuffer[RXBufferSize]; extern "C" void LPUART1_IRQHandler() { HAL_UART_IRQHandler(&s_UARTHandle); }   void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { cout << uwTick << " RXBuffer: " << RXBuffer; }   int main(void) { HAL_Init();   configureUART(); while (1) { memset(RXBuffer, 0, sizeof(RXBuffer));

I've been driving myself crazy trying to learn STM32 programming. I've selected an STM32f103c8 to try and program. I've searched low and high, and have not found a detailed reference for the HAL libraries. Any links to such references or good tutorials would be great.

Hello everyone,I have a STM32H747I-DISCO and I am trying to use it with TouchGFX in the first part. But the problem is I cannot use it directly with TouchGFX "Run Target" mode.I have few errors, I tried to run as admin but it didn't work. I have the external loader file specified.Could you help me please ?Thanks,Simon

Existing STM32CubeIDE works great in Ubuntu 16.04 for STM32H747XI6. When I start it in MobaXterm in Windows laptop, I get these errors:./stm32cubeideSWT SessionManagerDBus: Failed to connect to org.gnome.SessionManager: Could not connect: Connection refusedSWT SessionManagerDBus: Failed to connect to org.xfce.SessionManager: Could not connect: Connection refusedIDE opens in the workspace, but I can not compile or debug the project.

I tried to modify the ViewBase file generated by the designer by adjusting the width and height of the circle progress but nothing happened and I could not resize this element at all. So Is there is any other method to have different sizes of the circle progress either before generating the code from the designer or even after generating it by modifying some other code ???

DS, RM and Nucleo-boards are already available, but I couldn't find a SVD file for the G0 series.

I am porting a project from STM32F105 to STM32F103 using the standard peripheral library. During the compilation process I get the following error:In file included from ../Drivers/STM32F10x_StdPeriph_Driver/src/stm32f10x_can.c:23:0: ../Drivers/STM32F10x_StdPeriph_Driver/inc/stm32f10x_can.h:47:49: error: 'CAN2' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'CANx'? ((PERIPH) == CAN2))And if I go to stm32f10x_can.h file I can find:#define IS_CAN_ALL_PERIPH(PERIPH) (((PERIPH) == CAN1) || \ ((PERIPH) == CAN2))However, STM32F103 only define CAN1 in stm32f103xe.h. The question is how can I compile the standard library for STM32F103? One workaround is to delete all references to CAN2 but this is strange because the standard peripheral library is supposed to be standard for all mcu's in F1 family. In other words, no modification in source code of the library is needed to compile for those mcu's.Regards.

I have been following along with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AFCcfzK9xcand I can see that each change made in CubeMX produces changes in my generated code in main.cHowever, I cannot find any generated code which links the Timer Output Channel 1 to my GPIO Pin PA5. Is it being saved somewhere else, or is it being saved in some obscure way that I've missed?

Hi,How can I easily write/read N213 tags using rfal v2.2.0?For the v1.3.2 version I used to call rfalISO14443ATransceiveFrame() to do it but I don't know how it's done in this latest stack version.regards,gaston

hello, I am trying to convert c project to CPP in STMCUBE IDE, Now I generate the code to STM32H745(Dual core) and convert to CPP by using convert to CPP option in CUBE IDE. I am getting following error undefined reference to `main'. (check in attached screenshot) But same way I generated code to single core MCU, I did not get this error. Now how can I resolve this issue.

HiI am trying to include the standard C++ libraries in my STM32CubeIDE code, however I am getting an "Unresolved inclusion" Error. This project is configured as a C++ program, as the project drop down menu only allows me to convert this project to a C program - which implies that the current project is configured as a C++ project. e.g.  Is anyone familiar with this issue and know how to resolve this ?a swift reply is much appreciated :)Thanks

I'm helping a friend fix his battery charger. The Micro processor in it is a ST6200. Its spec has a list of Application Notes including the AN433. But a search of the ST web site failed to find it - which seems odd. Any assistance will be appreciated.

The update system of CubeMxX don't work. Event at some time, the software don't run at all, only the ST logo appears and... nothing!

I'm moving my first steps on STM's CPU, and I would like to start playing with stm32f469i-disco.Where I can find an updated step-by-step guide to open a project on TouchGFX, export into a project on CubeIDE and successful play on the discovery board?Thanks.
