Hello ,I am working on the stm32f070c6 controller , i am reading the adc values from controller and passing to the serial monitor of USB virtual COM port, but i want to checksum the values before transmitting the adc values to the serial monitor .how can i do it, if somebody have any idea please give me suggestion to how to checksum the adc values (theory wise I am sure).Best regardsraj

I am trying USART communication with using DMA. Code written with HAL library is working on STM32F0 but it doesn't work on L0. I am getting irrelevant data at terminal. Also HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback function can called on F0 but not on L0.Here is the some of my code.Where I am wrong ?/* USER CODE BEGIN PV */   #define RxBuf_SIZE 10 #define MainBuf_SIZE 10   char TxBuffer[4]={0x12,0x34,0x56,0x78}; uint8_t RxBuffer[RxBuf_SIZE],MainBuf[MainBuf_SIZE];   char str[24]; int sayi=0; uint16_t oldPos = 0; uint16_t newPos = 0;   int isOK = 0;   /* USER CODE END PV */   /* Private function prototypes -----------------------------------------------*/ void SystemClock_Config(void); /* USER CODE BEGIN PFP */   /* USER CODE END PFP */   /* Private user code ---------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */   void HAL_UART_TxHalfCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { __NOP(); }   void HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback(UAR

I'm new to embedded design, and I'm trying to wrap my head around the pinouts of the STM32L051K8T6. It says on the webpage it has two SPI buses, however the datasheet it seems to list one (SPI1) in two separate places (pins 11,12,13 & pins 21, 22, 26)I was wondering, does this mean it's technically the same bus? I can see the large packages (not 32 pin but 64,) has both SPI1 and SPI2 where this MCU only lists SPI1 twice.Any clarification would be appreciated :)

Hello,I am attempting to write a first stage bootloader that will load a second stage from SD card into RAM and then jump to this application. The program works when I load the second stage to flash and jump to it and when I run it in RAM with the Debugger. However when I change the linker script to RAM.ld and place the program in RAM manually at location 0x20008000 and to a size of 64k and then jump to it I get a hard fault. One note is that I am also failing my CRC check when I load ram and run CRC on the data loaded, However the same code will pass when CRC is run through the loaded flash. Please see the code used to jump to flash 0x08008000 and then ram 0x20008000 /** * @brief A new UserApp Fw was available. Start to download it * @param None * @note This function must set the next State Machine State * @retval None */ uint8_t jump_to_application(uint32_t address) { // uint32_t jump_address ; typedef void (*Function_Pointer)(void); Function_Pointer p_jump_to_function;   d

I'm using an STM32G431 using differential outputs on channel 1. On the scope, my deadtime is set where the channels overlap instead of having deadtime:channel1 ___-------___ ------__------- channel1_nHow can I reverse the direction of the deadtime?Here is my PWM setup:#define PWM_TICKS_PER_ISR_TICK ((uint16_t)(1)) #define PWM_FREQ_KHZ ((float_t)(27.0)) #define PWM_SRC_FREQ_MHz ((float_t)(170.0)) obj->pwmHandle->Instance = TIM1; obj->pwmHandle->Init.Prescaler = 0; obj->pwmHandle->Init.CounterMode = TIM_CR1_CMS_0; obj->pwmHandle->Init.Period = (uint32_t)(pwmSourceClock_MHz * (float_t)1000.0 * (float_t)0.5 / pwmFrequency_kHz); obj->pwmHandle->Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; obj->pwmHandle->Init.RepetitionCounter = PWM_TICKS_PER_ISR_TICK * 2 - 1; obj->pwmHandle->Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_ENABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(obj->pwmHandle) != HAL_OK) { obj->error = error_HAL_TIM_Base_Init; Err

More specifically, the doc's say status 6 means "wrap around not performed". What is wrap around? Is this a bad condition? Thanks,Dave

Hi all,How can I create swap partition in STM32MP1?Previously I did get an answer to how to increase the rootfs size. Any guidance on this will be highly appreciated.TIA

Hi all,Our team was brainstorming around a feature which we want to provide in our product. However to achieve the same we would like to understand if we can perform the video capture via camera and stream the same over the network to some node. Or do some kind of screen share and stream the screen capture over the network. Is it possible to achieve this capability on STM32MP1?

downloaded the file and tried to unzip but no luck )-:

Hi, I wonder in which state are the GPIO lines of STM32F407VG BEFORE loading program to flash memory. Thanks :)

In this example its mentioned that it can rotate RGB565 image by 90 degree using MDMA. i cant find the code for 90 degree rotation so its not possible or what exactly??@Imen DAHMEN

Hi all!I got something new for you. We have a pcb with an STM32f446re chip on it. For stability reason, we put an 20Mhz external clock on it, but the problem is, we are still running on 16Mhz (measured it with a toggled gpio on the oscilloscope.) The pulse should be 500ms long but results in 625ms.Now, here is the system clock init function which is calles FIRST in the main:void system_clock_config(){    RCC_OscInitTypeDef rcc_osc_init {};    RCC_ClkInitTypeDef rcc_clk_init {};    __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE();    __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE3);    rcc_osc_init.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE;    rcc_osc_init.HSIState = RCC_HSI_OFF;    rcc_osc_init.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON;    rcc_osc_init.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON;  &nbsp

Hello community!I'm staging in a company and they let my program a conversor on my own, de issue is when I started with the UART communication. I need to analyse a message recieved by the user, so I need to be able to analyse any kind of message recieved without knowing the length and using HAL functions. I also need to do it without blocking the program, so it has to be done with interrupts.I have tried with HAL_UART_Receive_IT and combining HAL_UART_Receive with HAL_UART_IRQHandler but I got the same results. If there is any source would be a big help.Anticipated Thanks!(Sorry if my english is bad, i'm from a foreign country, if any aclaration is needed i'll be here)

Hi,After i remove the two 0Ω resistors (SB13 and SB14) by soldering iron, and then solder them onto SB62 and SB63 respectively, what can i do to used Usart 2 for ARDUINO interface? Thank

Hello, How to set RF SW CTRL pins? How to make them appear in platform settings of SUBGHZ_PHY configuration?

I can not find the STM32G473 evaluate board schematic drawing.

Hi @D.CedricalbanBased on your guidance on previous topic, i can execute python on raspi to read the tags.Currently, we would like to take the external MCU (like ESP32) as a host, implement it communicate with ST25RU3993-HPEV over UART. (please refer to my connection diagram : https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1jLf4-6HVqBwT_gsOJ8EAMHpnaHdpxnHbBglNnPaBvNI/edit?usp=sharing)So, I would like confirm that is it possible to implement is that way ? if it is possible, any example can i refer ? i guess we can not use any example for the host in SDK for this case, because i saw example for host is base on POSIX or WIN32..thanksGreat to hear from you asap.

In stm32g030k6t6 mutiple adc channel working fine with DMA , But Not Working in Stm32g030c6t6.Kindly Help

Hi ST team and community!I am trying to develop a People Footfall Counter for commercial use using the two VL53L1X Sensors on Esp32 using the Sparkun Library from the following:https://github.com/sparkfun/SparkFun_VL53L1X_Arduino_LibraryFirst of all, I set two different addresses using XSHUT pins for the respective VL53L1X sensor. On calling getI2CAddress() function, I receive the set addresses again. But strangely, when i2c scanner code is executed(the i2c scanner code written just below the getI2CAddress()), I receive a single i2c address ie. 0X0B after scanning and not the assigned addresses of VL53L1X. Also it shows as 1 device found which is again strange as it should scan the VL53L1X Sensors as two separate entities since we have assigned two separate addresses. Please ignore address 0X68 as its of RTC.Since its for commercial use, I need the VL53L1X sensors to cover maximum area too. I get better output in ROI Configuration: x=8, y=8 and opticalCentre = {167, 223}. But when the

Have been struggling to get SPI to work. I have been working in the engineering boot mode to try and trouble shoot my issues. I have configured PLL3 to run the MCU at 48MHz and the SPI peripheral kernel clk to run at 108MHz and selected the clock sources in the RCC regs accordingly, I have implemented the procedure for configuring SPI in the related section in the reference manual. The GPIO have been configured to their appropriate modes and alternate functions. I have enabled the peripheral bus in RCC.I am able to confirm the register setting via the debugger. However, when I try to send data, I see nothing on the GPIO. I also don't see any flags reported when attempting to overfill the TXFIFO to elicit a response from the peripheral.I am not using the HAL library directly, though I have looked through it to see what I may have missed to no avail. Can anyone let me know if there is another enable bit, power bit or otherwise that I may be overlooking?

Hello.I'm beginner at programming and I'm trying do make Android app in Android studio that can read and write ST25DV64K, and I can't find appropriate libraries. Do you have some kind of source code for public that can help us?Thank you in advance.

So assume I define a text area widget which contained text "123". Can we have e.g. color gray for character '1', color black for character '2' and color red for character '3'?The usage is e.g. to take user input via numpad, and we want to show user which character has been edited, just edited and going to be edited accordingly.

I can run the code for the two cores if I program them separately from the Keil, but I would like to generate a .BIN image to send to my client, who is doing tests on a prototype, with the code for both cores.I generate the .BIN with the "fromelf" program but it doesn't seem to allow me to merge two AXF files into a single BIN.I tried to use "srec_cat" to merge the two .HEX but the resulting file, converted to .BIN, becomes a file of about 130MByte! Obviously I'm doing something wrong. Can someone please suggest me a way? Many ThanksClemente

I'm configuring i2c with dma using the registers directly. I'm sure I have an error somewhere but I don't have a great idea on where to go next with debugging. Sometimes my i2c transfer goes through expediently, but sometimes it has a long stall after the address portion. Currently dma is only being used for this one peripheral. In the below scope trace, the purple is a gpio set in my function where the dma is set up, followed by an i2c start. I don't see how it could wait for 60 us before sending the data. Does anyone have any ideas what might cause this or where to look?My i2c clock and apb clock are both set to 170 MHz. There is a note in the errata about i2c stall, but it doesn't seem to apply.
