Solved

Hi Guys,I have problems reading. I have followed the STM32WB Workshop on stm32wb (using mx version 5.4.0). Now i'm trying to read but all examples seem to only use notifying and writing.I have the following char created and added some default value.aci_gatt_add_char(SvcHandle, UUID_TYPE_128, &uuid16, 1, CHAR_PROP_READ | CHAR_PROP_WRITE_WITHOUT_RESP, ATTR_PERMISSION_NONE, GATT_NOTIFY_ATTRIBUTE_WRITE | GATT_NOTIFY_READ_REQ_AND_WAIT_FOR_APPL_RESP, 10, 0, &(AlarmThresholdHandle));   uint8_t pData[1] = {59}; aci_gatt_update_char_value(SvcHandle, AlarmThresholdHandle + 1, 0, /* charValOffset */ 1, /* charValueLen */ pData);    Within server app handler it enters this case when im reading, and found the right handler. This is the part where i get lost, what to do next? I implemented the following but that does not work.case EVT_BLUE_GATT_READ_PERMIT_REQ: { aci_gatt_read_permit_req_event_rp0* attributeToRead; attributeToRead = (aci_gatt_read_

Installed the X-CUBE-AZRTOS-L4 package with the CubeMX "Install software packages" function. Looks like it is installed.Starting a new Project with an STM32L4 device does not show the Azure RTOS Middleware options. Bug or what I am doing wrong?!

I am using UART to transmit and receive data. for transmitting I am using polling method function HAL_UART_Transmit(&hart1, buf, 8,1000) and for receiving i am using HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&hart, Rx_buf,8); receiving is working fine but after transmitting any data the receive callback is getting fired and after that the receiving interrupts are not getting fired even though I am transmitting data from another device.

I have STM32G071 MCU to control a USB Type C hub and I want to use VBUS Powered sink in the application. I have connected Dead Battery pins to their respected CCx pins. It supposed to act as a sink when there is no power but when I connect the type c port to a device, it does not act as a sink and connected device does not give any power. I have activated the Dead Battery signals in STM32CubeIDE but it does not work. Also I have tried activating signals by configuring SYSCFG register but it did not work either. What should I do to make it work?

Hello Everyone,I currently trying to implement a FFT by using the optimized functions from CMSIS library on a L5 MCU. The fact is that the M33 family seems not to be supported then I was wondering whether there's some kind of workaround in order to make it work properly.Any suggestions could be very helpful! Thanks in advance

Hello ST community,I am developing an application based on B-U585I-IOT02A. In this I am using the MX25LM51245G which is on board NOR flash connected via OCTOSPI. The functionality is to save and retrieve a .bin file from the NOR flash. Please let me know how can we achieve the same.Regards

We're working on custom data transfer between Android and our custom device with NFC. As Android no longer support peer to peer, we're investigate the best way to do it. ST provides ST25FTM library to do this with the ST25DV-I2C tag, but it is too slow ~25kbps. We want something faster around 115kps.Is there anything library similar to ST25FTM and allows ST25R3916 to perform data transfer? (Either in reader or card emulation mode). If not, which direction we can take to perform data transfer with Android low level API. Thanks

I was running and debugging a part of my application on a stm32F207zg microcontroller.Microcontroller is on a custom PCB that is in validation process. This part of application has to set or clear 16 gpios configured as output. If they are initialized to be "on", outputs start with "on" state correctly. So, the whole output port can be written with "high logic level". If LEDs are connected on there, they turn on.In other part of my code that I'm using to play with output operations for testing purposes, a function is writing high level state at whole GPIO output port (x16 pins) once again. But the weird behavior comes here: pin4, pin 5 and pin16 don't set their values.I was debugging HAL_GPIO_WritePin function. Remembering how does HAL set the value I share the code from HAL_GPIO lib:* @param GPIOx where x can be (A..I) to select the GPIO peripheral for all STM32F2XX devices   * @param GPIO_Pin specifies the port bit to be written.   * This parameter can be one of GPIO_PIN_x

Hello,I have a ST25RU3993 RFID reader, and I started with it. For starting I download and use the Software Development Kit for ST25RU3993 based evaluation boards for testing my reader. However I have a problem. My reader has a firmware that does not match with the SDK. The SDK requires update the firmware. When I process to update the firmware SDK throws an error, that say that the device is not recognize. What could be the problem? Or how could I make my reader be recognized? Thank you and regards

Hello ST community,I use a STM32F3348 DISCO board (STM32F334C8Tx MCU) and I would like to realize a PWM with a period of 4µs (250 000 Hz) and a pulse width of 13,9ns. I tried first with the TIM1 and then with the HRTIM but in both cases I can't reduce the pulse width below 50ns.However the HRTIM has a resolution of 6.95ns so normally it is possible. But even taking the examples provided for this timer, it’s as if the card was limited. Can you give me some guidance on what I might have forgotten?

Hi. I have a P-NUCLEO-IOM01M1 and it seems to have fallen into disrepair. It was re-flashed via STM32CubeProgrammer. Could you help, surely there is a solution to this problem. Thank you.

Hello,I am using the STM32MP157F-DK2 and recently went through a textbook rebuild of the Linux kernel, the modules and the gcnano driver (for GL support). All is well and yet, I see only one of the two CPUS. dmesg tells me the following:[   0.000000] ------------[ cut here ]------------[   0.000000] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 0 at arch/arm/kernel/devtree.c:148 arm_dt_init_cpu_maps+0x168/0x250[   0.000000] DT /cpu 2 nodes greater than max cores 1, capping them[   0.000000] Modules linked in:[   0.000000] CPU: 0 PID: 0 Comm: swapper Not tainted 5.15.67 #1[   0.000000] Hardware name: STM32 (Device Tree Support)[   0.000000] [<c010e8ec>] (unwind_backtrace) from [<c010c158>] (show_stack+0x10/0x14)[   0.000000] [<c010c158>] (show_stack) from [<c0122404>] (__warn+0xec/0x148)[   0.000000] [<c0122404>] (__warn) from [<c0c33034>] (wa

I want to switch from FreeRTOS to Azure RTOS ThreadX. In FreeRTOS there is the function xQueueSendToBackFromISR() - It is used to write data to the queue from an interrupt service routine. FreeRTOS interrupt provides an interrupt safe version of queue API to read and write data from queues using ISR. https://www.freertos.org/xQueueSendToBackFromISR.html And I am looking for the equivalent function in Azure RTOS ThreadX.I looked up the documentation on Microsoft website and went through the functions but it seems that there is no such function in Azure RTOS ThreadX? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/rtos/threadx/chapter4

I have used CubeMX to generate an application structure for the STM32F746 DISCO board. When trying to run the most basic application, during the initialisation, TIM6 is set to be the HAL tick source, when it is enabled, it immediately jumps to its interrupt, and then gets repeated called, stopping any further progress. This is also happening with the TouchGFX code taken from the example library.

The program can't find any ST-Link connections:But I can use the STM32CubeProgrammer to flash my board via ST-Link/V2 SWD.Could you please help me to figure out what is missing?I need to write a program to flash the board and I can't even see it! Please help.Thank you.

I use STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe (from STM32CubeMX version 2.11.0) to flash an STM32 with internal and external flash. In some cases the tool prints an error in red in the terminal and exits with errorlevel is set to 0.If I want to use success or failure as a condition in my script I run into problems.I have the following simplified script (test.cmd):@echo off set "STfilepath=C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer\bin\STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe" "%STfilepath%" -c port=swd -w "elf_file.elf" 0x90000000 -el "stldr_file.stldr" echo ERRORLEVEL=%ERRORLEVEL%If my debugger is not plugged or the target is not connected I get ERRORLEVEL=1.If my debugger and target are both connected, but either the elf file or the stldr file are not found I get an errormessage printed in red in the terminal, but the errorlevel is set to 0.No programmer connected:./test.cmd ------------------------------------------------------------------- STM32CubeProgrammer v2.11.0 -------------------

I ran into a small footnote in AN3155 stating "System reset is called only for some STM32 BL (STM32F0/F2/F4/F7) and some STM32L4 (STM32L412xx/422xx, STM32L43xxx/44xxx, STM32L45xxx/46xxx) products."Now I run into the problem that after flashing the firmware over UART, I need to be able to boot the new firmware since the device does not reset by itself. Over UART there is no reset command. I tried the "go" command to jump to 0x08000000 but that does not work either. STM32CubeProgrammer_CLI.exe reports that the "go" command is not supported on my device. Now I'm stuck. How do I run the newly uploaded image without having to powercycle or reset? I'm unable to do that in this product application. I do not want to use SBSFU.

This is a question related to an old post I wrote: https://community.st.com/s/feed/0D53W000024ZvOoSAKIn which I said that I will make some hardware modications in order to achieve the technical suggestions and manufacturer instructions. First it was thought that two missing capacitors were causing miss function on internal regulator. So I added them in a new printed circuit prototype. I have made these changes, but problems still being the same:Interruptions never happens after HAL_Init()So, thread get stucked at the same point: clock is never get configured, it tourns an error. I'm using HSI clock, so external clock couldn't be guilty. As a reminder I have to say that the same firmware works fine on NUCLEO board.I don't know if the problem is on SEGGER debugger configuration. I really need to be able to run some kind of firmware. I'm spending a lot of time with this trouble. Why is the interruption unable to be triggered when: TIM6 interruption is enabled and I can see how this is don

Hi, I am using cubeMx generate the STM32F302VE project, which for receiving the usart1 date by DMA circual mode.My config as below:enable DMA, but disable DMA interrupt;enable USART1, and enable UART_IT_IDLE;Now, the project can enter the "USART1_IRQHandler()", but can't run to "__HAL_UART_CLEAR_FLAG(huart, UART_CLEAR_IDLEF);", because "huart->ReceptionType != HAL_UART_RECEPTION_TOIDLE". Details can refer the attachment and the following picture.

stm32h7xx_ll_utils.c throws a warning "no LL_RCC_CalcPLLClockFreq" function at line 930. The function exists in stm32h7xx_ll_rcc.c but has a conditional compile USE_FULL_LL_Driver.Calls to conditional compiles should be under the same conditional conditions.Cheers, Hal
