I used the ST Visual Develop with Cosmic STM8 free tools with no limits version to compile a C program. However, some errors were shown,
''&sharperror clnk debug\stm8 gerenal io program.lkf:1 can't open file debug\stm8 gerenal io program.lkf
The command: ''clnk -m ''debug\stm8 gerenal io program.map'' -l''C:\Program Files (x86)\COSMIC\FSE_Compilers\CXSTM8\Lib'' -o ''debug\stm8 gerenal io program.sm8'' ''debug\stm8 gerenal io program.lkf'' '' has failed, the returned value is: 1
exit code=1.''
Besides, the pop-up message box was shown ''Could not open the ''debug\stm8 file'' when I push ''Build'' button every time.
But I sure that
1) A License for the Cosmic was well installed because I already checked HKEY_CURRENT_USER->SOFTWARE->FLExlm License Manager-> COSMIC_LICENSE_FILE.
2)My C Program is small than 4k.
