Cannot download CubeMX, CubeIDE, CubeProgrammer

Hello Everyone,

I have read several posts on this forum for the same problem that I am posting.

I cannot download CubeMX, CubeIDE, CubeProgrammer from the Developer zone.

I have tried several browsers (Firefox, Brave).

I have tried 2 desktop computers (HP and Dell). OS is Win7 on both.

On the HP, I can't even log in to st.com. When I enter my credentials, it takes me to a page that says, Sorry that page does not exist (404 error).

On the Dell I can log in and here is what happens:

Your website takes me around in circles.

I log in and proceed to the page for software download.
I select CubeMX
I select Windows
I Accept agreement
Then it takes me back to the page that I started at.

This is second day that I haver been going around in circles.

I have tried logging in as guest with no downloading success.

Any HELP is MUCH appreciated.

I have a Nucleo board and would like to start programming it !

Are the software tools available somewhere else like github or sourceforge?

Many thanks,

robert

Hi again, AScha.3,

Once again, thanks for responding.

No luck with anything/everything I tried with Windows.

GOOD NEWS

I fired up my MX Linux (Debian) Laptop, and I was able to download both Win and Lin/Deb versions of CubeMX, CubeIDE, CubeProgrammer.

These days having website problems with sites of large corps is not that unusual.

The company can have excellent support for their product, but contacting the IT folks who built the site and maintain the site is often impossible.

I don't let it bother me. I just tip-toe around on the site and get what I need.

Really happy that the forum is available and that you answered me. My support ticket with ST has never been answered.

Oh well.

Off to program my Nucleo board !  🙂

Best to you always,

xst

Hi AScha.3,

Thank you for responding.

I am in US (Iowa).

I will work on your suggestion.

A quick visit to Control Panel | WIndows Firewall did not reveal how to turn it off.

I will figure it out ....

I will report back here.

Thanks !

OS is Win7 on both.

This. Time to say goodbye to Win7.

Hi Pavel,

Tnx for posting.

Nice to meet you.

Yes indeed ..... I have been moving away from Windows for 1 year.

5 of my 8 computers are now MX Linux (Debian).

Have a few applications involved with my consulting work that are Win only.

Working hard to get Win 7 or Win 10 installed on a Virtualbox VM (running on my MX Linux box) to allow me to still run them.

I am giving up on Win 7 and will now work with Win 10.

Oh BTW, MX Linux is super.

I downloaded, installed and experimented with 30 different distros of Linux.

MX Linux with XFCE desktop was head and shoulders above the rest.

Great support.  Great community.  Happy, smart people.

Best to you,
