Nucleo Expansion Board for current measurement

Hello,

There is a Nucleo expansion board for current measurement.

https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/x-nucleo-lpm01a.html

I am curious when it can be useful and more convenient rather than standard measurement tools , like DVM or a sampling device?

Also I see there is an option to transmit the measurements over USB. Is there an ST tool to collect the samples and graphically present them?

Thanks!

Hi,

can we use this board LPM01A  to measure current and visualize it through STM32CubeMonPwr  without supplying the target board? (target board would be a battery+eventually load) to estimate capacity.
