Hello,
I update my computer to MacOs 15.3.1 and I have a similar problem to when MacOs 15 arrived. The St-Link (ST-Link v3 mini) is not detected with Cube IDE (CubeIDE v. 1.17.0).
It worked fine in MacOS 15.1.1
I've tried starting the IDE as admin and adding the link's path to the path list, but it doesn't work. (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/stlink-server-with-macos-15/td-p/705089)
On the other hand, it is well detected with STM32Programmer.
I added the IDE to the development tools in the security tab of the computer settings, just in case the problem came from the fact that apple could have changed the security rules, but that didn't solve the problem.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I called Apple support and they told me there must be a problem with the Mac update and the stm32Cube IDE application. I reinitialized my computer (deleting the entire disk and reinstalling Sequoia with the recovery mode) and it's working again (with MacOS 15.3.2).
If you try to delete your disk keep a save in an external drive thanks to Time Machine just in case.

Hello,
Thank you for our answer.
I'm not sure if it's USB related cause it was working before I updated my OS. It also works with STM32Programmer, I only have the issue with STM32CubeIDE

Update my IDE to 1.18 doesn't fix.
I think I'm gonna downgrade my OS.

thx in advance.

Yeah eventuallly i got it working yesterday, all i had to do was use an old usb splitter to force usb 2.0 and then suddenly everything in cubeprogrammer worked.
cubeIDE still doesn't seem to work but i can life with that.
Now i just need to figure out how i can consistenly compile the boot and application files :)) my normal workflow with cmake doesn't seem to like this and cube ide works about 1/10 times.
