It is 2024: Why does st-link-server still need long time deprecated libusbx?

libusbx is deprecated  since long. For Linux installation of Stm32CubeIde, an installed libusbx is still required and installation aborts. I see no work-around. Why is this obstacle still in place? Any hint how to circumvent beside the useless hints in the aceppted solution in "https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/install-stm32cubeide-on-linux-opensuse-15-3/m-p/217164". This "solution" gives no workaround for libusbx...
