I have STM32CubeIDE 1.5.1 installed. There is no option for File >> New STM32 Project. How then do I create a new STM32 Project from within STM32CubeIDE? Thx, Hab

How did you installed the version 1.5.1, is it a fresh installation or an update from previous version?

Did you already installed third-party plugins such as git?

Asking this because you could be in the same situation than https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000S5KhZSAV/error-unknown-nature-on-stm32cube-ide-after-update

This was an update not a fresh install. I have not installed git to STM32CubeIDE, but it is installed for Atollic. I am using Windows 10. I took a look at the link - not sure that is the issue I am having, does not read like my situation, but it could be related. Would you suggest an uninstall and fresh install?

To confirm or not the issue from the other thread could you start STM32CubeIDE using "stm32cubeidec.exe -consoleLog" and paste here the startup log ?

Sorry for the delay. Apparently the problems are one and the same. I updated the JRE as you suggested in the link https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000S5KhZSAV/error-unknown-nature-on-stm32cube-ide-after-update and that appears to have corrected the issue. Much thanks.
