Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am currently designing a custom PCB board based on the STM32MP157FAC1 microprocessor and associated STMicroelectronics components. I would like to kindly request your support in reviewing and verifying the schematic design and Gerber files to ensure the PCB has been designed correctly and will function as expected.
The objective of this verification is to confirm:
Your feedback would be extremely valuable in identifying any potential issues or required improvements early, helping to ensure reliable operation of the final PCB.
If any additional information or files are required for this review—such as BOM details, PCB stack-up, reference documents, or design constraints—please feel free to contact me. I will promptly share whatever is needed.
Thank you very much for your time and support. I look forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Mohammed Navas

Hello MOHAMMED_NAVAS,
for the STPMIC1A my suggestion is to follow the evaluation board PCB layout, you can download from
The STPMIC1 PCB layout guidelines - Application note some useful info.

Dear Mr. Vincenzo,
Thank you very much for your response and for sharing the guidance regarding the STPMIC1A evaluation board layout and the PCB layout guidelines application note. I will carefully review and follow the recommended references during my PCB design process.
I would like to kindly clarify one point regarding design support.
Could you please let me know whether STMicroelectronics provides any official service or support option to review customer-created schematic designs and Gerber files for correctness and compliance with STM32MP157FAC1 and related components?
Specifically, I would like to understand:
Whether schematic review or design validation is available as part of ST technical support
If Gerber or PCB layout review is supported, or if guidance is limited to reference designs and application notes
If such a service exists, what would be the recommended process to request it
This information will help me plan the next steps before proceeding with PCB fabrication.
Thank you once again for your support and guidance. I appreciate your time and look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Mohammed Navas

Hello MOHAMMED_NAVAS,
the main device of your application is the STM32MP157 and my suggestion is to contact the local microprocessor unit field application engineer (MPU FAE) through your distributor otherwise you can use the online support following the link below OLS and open a ticket, you need registration to use the support.
I am responsible for the STPMIC1 device. By following the provided application note, you can resolve some issues related to the power supply of the microprocessor unit (MPU).
Regards,
Vincenzo

STMicroelectronics is devoted to provide as best support as possible, but such kind of customer design review is not part of main scope of public community.
We anyway do such deep expertise support for few key-customer accounts (read 'large enough potential sales') identified by regions, mostly when they face issues during their bring-up or pre-production (as usually they have sufficient in-house expertise for usual design phases).
You could understand we did not have bandwidth to yearly check thousands of STM32 designs of all our customers.
Customer which does not have enough expertise or does not feel confident with MPU design are usually subcontracting it or uses 3rd party products (SOM or similar). Distributors could also give support.
You could contact your ST local sales to check further what kind of direct support could be possible in your case.
