Is STM32MP153FAD1 device revision B or revision Z?

We have developed a board in which STM32MP151FAD1 or STM32MP157FAD1 is being used. I know that STM32MP15x has two device revisions, B and Z. Either STM32MP151FAD1 or STM32MP157FAD1 on the board has device revision Z, which does not have eMMC boot problem that device revision B has. Now we are going to purchase some STM32MP153FAD1 chips, but we are not sure if the chips are revision B or revision Z. The chip distributor won't provide any information about the chip's revision. Does STM32MP153FAD1 also have revision B and revision Z?

Hi,

There is low chance to still see Rev.B stock on distributor side as on our side, STM32MP15 production has switched to Rev.Z somewhat 5 years ago.

You should ask your distributor about ST salestype (aka FG for Finished Goods), which should be somewhere in their internal data as listed in ST invoice (it is also mention on box of any ST delivered products until distributor repackage tray or reel in smaller quantities).

For STM32MP15 Rev.Z, it should end with a 3, e.g. something like 2MP151FAD1$X3 or 2MP151FAD1$F3
