Hi,
I was wondering if ST or any ST Partners are planning to produce a System-on-Module (SoM), System-in-Package (SiP) or Single Board Computer (SBC) based on the new STM32MP257 chips?
We're planning to develop using the STM32MP257F-DK evaluation board then find a SoM, SiP or SBC that supports the STM32MP257's MIPI CSI-2 interface and ability to quickly wake from a low power sleep mode.

This is few SOM based on STM32MP257 I can share :
Digi : Digi ConnectCore® MP255 CC-WST-J17D-NK
Digi ConnectCore® MP255 CC-ST-J17D-ZK
Engicam : iCore-STM32MP2
Myir : MYC-LD25X
Karo : txmp2
Not aware of any SiP or SBC project.
Hope it help

Hi @Olivier GALLIEN
Thank you very much! I'd been in touch with the two European SoM manufacturers but I hadn't known about digi.com !
Thank you very much also for encouraging me to look at the STM32MP255 instead of the STM32MP257 - I can see now that they're identical except for the STM32MP257 having an Ethernet switch.
We're aiming to design a new open source wildlife camera ecosystem for conservation of endangered Hazel Dormice (Muscardinus avellanarius) and Garden Dormice (Eliomys quercinus) that will use the STM32MP25x μP and ST image sensors to give vastly better performance and be vastly more flexible than anything available at the moment.
Here's a video from our work: Video of Garden Dormouse (Eliomys quercinus) Exploring One of Our Carved Nest Holes https://youtu.be/2mKmhZvdw-4
and an article (in Flemish but I can translate) Tree Cavities Carved for Endangered Dormice https://www.natuurpunt.be/nieuws/boomholtes-kerven-voor-bedreigde-eikelmuizen
The system will spend most of its time in a low power sleep mode, wakening to full power when PIR sensors detect an animal approaching so that it can be powered from a solar panel and rechargeable battery. ST's high quality image sensors via a MIPI CSI-2 interface will capture high quality video even in difficult lighting conditions.
I'm a professional climbing arborist and software engineer so OpenST Linux is hugely valuable and the new features in the STM32MP25x μPs are very exciting.
