Can i connect J-Link to test points TP2,TP3,TP4,TP5,TP8,TP9 and not use the embedded ST-Link/V2 ?

Can i connect J-Link to test points TP2,TP3,TP4,TP5,TP8,TP9 and not use the embedded ST-Link/V2 ? If yes do it needs special treatment like disabling embedded ST-Link/V2 ?

Hello,

Yes, you could use these points for an external probe.

Should work without specific embedded ST-Link disable (obviously, to avoid conflicts, you must not start any debugging session on ST-Link), and you could still use UART4 VCP thru ST-Link USB.

Please ensure you have the latest ST-Link FW.

Anyway, In case of trouble, you could totally disable ST-Link (debug and VCP) using SB18, or just disconnect ST-Link SWD wires using SB17, SB19 and SB20.
