Workshop code insertion and BLE custom names

Hi, Working with FW_WB_V.10.0, have a few questions:

  1. After viewing the workshop tutorial, I saw multiple code insertions to the project. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNfIGh30kSs). Are they necessary?
  2. Started working with FW_WB_V.10.0, can I safely upgrade to FW_WB_V.11.0/1? What are the differences? And is it somehow related to my previous question?
  3. In cubeMX, in the custom BLE example and in general, can we change the names of the services and characteristics from inside the cubeMX? To be later generated to code? This can save tedious name changes and functions in code
