Unable connect STM32WB NUCLEO board in STM32CubeProgrammer

I have checked all the required positions of the jumpers on the STM32 Nucleo board as follows:

• JP1 - USB STL

• JP2 ON

• JP3 ON

I have installed Java 8.

I have selected ST-Link mode, the device is visible in device manager as STLink Virtual Port

I also upgraded the firmware .

Next , when I am trying to connect , Its showing an Error: No STM32 target found!

Please let me know, what am I missing?

Thank You

Hi mPona,

This problem indicates that your ST-LINK chip on the Nucleo board cannot connect to the STM32WB chip (the target of the ST-LINK chip).

Are all jumpers on the Nucleo board installed correctly? There are a lot of jumpers on the board and some are required to form a connection between the ST-LINK and the target, while others are required to provide the STM32WB with power.

Can you determine whether the target is powered properly?

If the problem is not related to power, it may have to do with the connect / reset mode configuration in ST-LINK.

Thank you so much for replying.

all the jumpers are installed correctly, I have rechecked. Yes the target seems to be powered properly with the mini-USB cable.

Could you please elaborate what is reset mode configuration in ST-LINK?

Thank you in Advance
