Hi,
I tried to install TouchGFX 4.23.0 and 4.23.1 several times. OS is Win 11 pro eng/us region and eng language settings.
When executed the run command on windows simulator fail message appears as in attachment.
Also fails when creating any discovery board as in other attachment.
I installed the TOUCHGFX successfully another Win 10 pro machines.
How can I fix this issue for Win 11 pro installation?
Best regards,

Hello @ali_ ,
Thank you for your post. We are very interested to know more information about the situation.
Could you please specify what is the directory that you have installed TouchGFX on?
Plus, it would be nice if you can provide the TouchGFX log that is available at AppData/Roaming/TouchGFX-4.23.1, you can quickly access it from the start menu by searching %appdata% . It would be nice if you catch the log when you face those issues.
Also, could you mention the build version of the Windows 11 that you are using? And a screenshot of TouchGFX 4.23.1 Environment (you can run it from the start menu just by searching for it) running mount command, something like this:
Sorry for asking for too many information, but it absolutely matter to us.
Bare in mind that, if you don't feel comfortable sharing these information on this post, you can send me a private message

Thank you so much for providing the information.
We will look at the matter and come back to you with an answer.
And one last request,
Could you please check the version of g++ that you have? By running g++ --version in the TouchGFX Environment.
It would also be great if you try to build your project from TouchGFX Environment instead of the Designer (So, by using the command line). You can see the instruction for it here
Thanks a lot again for your help

Hello,
I'm not a TouchGFX specialist. I have W 11 and TouchGFX 4.23.1 and everything works.
Have you tried uninstalling TouchGFX, deleting the installation directory "C:\TouchGFX\4.23.1", deleting the contents of "AppData\Roaming\TouchGFX-4.23.1" (C:\Users\_userName\AppData\Roaming\TouchGFX-4.23.1) .
Restart Windows and reinstall?
Do you have one version of TouchGFX installed or do you have multiple versions side by side?

Hi JN,
I tried your solution but unfortunately problem is same. I have 4.23.1 and 4.23.0. Completely uninstalled both, roaming data. Also removed from CubeMX. Than restarted windows and reinstalled the just 4.23.1. The problem still persists.
In addition to above I uninstall the Cubemx and clean all registry data of both (Cubemx and Touchfx) before reinstall.
When installing the touchfx on cubemx installation is not completed. TouchGFX-4.23.1.msi file created in such a directory "C:\Users\USER\Downloads\New folder (3)\Utilities\PC_Software\TouchGFXDesigner" then installation starts when clicked. In some installation video, touchgfx installation starting automatically from cubemx.
Thank you very much for your support.
Best regards,

As I wrote, I'm not a TouchGFX specialist. I know a bit of Windows :) (maybe a bit more) and I know that there is sometimes a problem with other applications.
Do you have a lot installed on your system?
I dare say reinstalling the OS and installing apps from ST would be the easiest. Better than looking for a bug in the conjunction of several previous applications.
Installing ST apps on W11 is not a problem and they work.
