STM32H7 Chrome-ART (DMA2D) gamma correction for L8 color coding

Is it possible to use CLUTs in Chrome-ART of STM32H7 for L8 to L8 color conversion specifically gamma conversion?

There's no L8 output from DMA2D, see DMA2D output PFC subchapter of the DMA2D chapter in RM.
