SWO on startup

Hello,

after POR, but before a "switch to SWD" sequence has been sent to the debug unit, what function is PB3? Is is only "Jtag dataout" are can it alreadt transfer SWO data.

To put it in other words: Can PB3 (SWO) be used for SWO data output without sending the JTAG->SWO switch sequence to the JTAG port? This question applies to all STM32 with JTAG capabilities
