STM32L152 OPAMP Output current?

Hi All!

I would like to use the  STM32L152  Opamp output pin to pulse drive the MOC3020 optotriac.The pulse current should be ca 15mA-20mA for the optotriac to fire up under any temp. conditions.Can I source this amount of current form the opamp pin or is it just like any other GPIO pin?thanks and regardsTom    #stm32l152-opamp

The data sheet for the uP defines drive current capability. The comparator comes up substantially short of your requirement. Same problem with the DAC even with it's internal buffer amplifier. Use an extrernal buffer amp.
