Posted on May 15, 2015 at 14:04I need my device to call a number using the SIM900 GSM chip and play a *.wav file from the flash to the SIM900's microphone. I have no experience with audio and I have 2 questions:
1. Is it possible to use microcontroller's DAC for playing the wave files without any additional codec or amplifier like the one (CS43L22) used on STM32F4Discovery?
2. Is it possible to record sound and generate a *.wav file for playing in the step above without additional components (using only a microphone)? If yes/no, what is the simplest way to do that?
