I have an old version of the st link utility and I have to upgrade it in order to program new STM32H7xx devices.

Removing the old version with the windows tool crashed.

Installing the new one crash again :

1/ 'Setup could not find a file on the specified path on the disk

...

unable to locate C:\Windows\Downloaded Installations\{0962B40B-CE74-4302-9217-BE72C72470C9}\STM32 ST-LINK Utility.msi'

And then

2/ 'Err 1714 the older version of utility cannont be removed ****** CONTACT YOUR TECHNICAL SUPPORT GROUP' (Hello ST ?)

3/ After what the installshield wizard stay blocked in an infinite loop 'removing application................'

Note that the file located in

C:\Windows\Downloaded Installation

**exists**. Trying to starting it directly the msi don't works.

'You must run setup.exe'

One more useless day due to software bugs.

Thank you for your help
