ST Visual Programmer Warnig(The device is protected)

When I tried to write a file to STM32F103RCT6, it could not be written.

STVP displays this as a "device protected" warning.

The IC was purchased from a trading company and is not written to the cash register.

We inspected nearly 70, but not the other boards.

If the IC is damaged by static electricity, will the device be protected and unwritable?

Is there a workaround if it is not damaged?

If the IC is damaged, it is not possible to know how it will react. Usually it will retain at least some functionality, but that is not guaranteed.

Try to connect with STM32CubeProgrammer and see if RDP is set and if chip can be read/erased.

You should be able to back out all of the setting, both read-out protection, and write protections on the sectors.

With tools like STM32Cube Programmer, et al.

I remember Segger having a specific STM32 app for the J-Link in the 2007-2009 kind of time frame to unlock/recover parts
