The datasheets don't detail how these pins are connected internally. Can someone shed some light on this?
Can I use these pins as output compare outputs? i.e. PWM outputs?

TIM2_CH1 and TIM2_ETR are connected together for the purpose of interpreting the black box diagram of the timer unit. Can I use these pins as output compare outputs? i.e. PWM outputs? Yes
