What is the difference between LPUART and UART?.

As far as i read there is no difference to use LPUART and normal one(except power consumption ofc). If I change my UART channel to LPUART, will be any difference? Will be the LP ones DMA usage differ from the normal one?

Any help will be appreaciated.

LPUART can work in deeper sleep modes and be used to wake up the CPU.

Please include your chip number in your post. Normal functions should be the same between the two, assuming the DMA connection exists.
