IIS (I2S) with multiple data streams

I'm planning a design where I need to hook up 4 channels of audio DAC to an STM32. The plan is to use IIS.

One option is to use a 6-channel DAC (not use 2 channels), and drive via IIS (I2S).

One DAC possibility has one MCLK, one LRCK, and multiple data streams.

One IIS port on the STM32 will give MCLK, LRCK and one datastream.

Has anybody tried to run multiple IIS ports in synchronisation?

Is there a way to synchronise them so data streams are synchronised?

Any previous experience gratefully received.
