How to external supply Nucleo board with 3V3 in combination with using ST-Link Debugger via USB

Hi, I am using the Nucleo Board STM32G071 and I want to supply the board with 3V3 from an external source. At the same time I would like to use the ST-Link debugger that is on the Nucleo Board and I would like to supply the debugger via the micro-USB port

Welcome, @rhood.1, to the community!

This is a special case, but all you have to do is desolder SB1 and connect the 3.3V to net 3V3. This net is accessible via CN6.4, CN6.4, CN7.12 and CN7.16.

Net 3V3 is also connected to VDD via jumper JP3 so that you can measure the current consumption of the target with an ammeter instead of the jumper.

Further details can be found in the NUCLEO-64 schematic for the STM32G0.

Does it answer your question?
