I just purchased a STM32F429I discovery board. I need to modify the provided software to produce a custom graphics demo for my client. I downloaded tools from the Keil link on the ST-site, but the libraries are much greater than the 32K limit. I had thought that the tools would detect a demo board and allow the compile, link and download, but I was mistaken. What good is a demonstration board if you can't modify it? I could watch the pretty pictures on UTube. I hope I am missing something and I can get this to work. Does anyone have a solution?

That is generally not how compilers and linkers work.
If you want to use Keil or IAR, then request an evaluation license from them. 30-day such license are generally provided upon request. Or use free tools, and the level of support that affords.[DEAD LINK /public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/STM32Java/Flat.aspx?RootFolder=/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/STM32Java/Free%20Development%20Tools%20for%20STM32%20Microcontrollers&FolderCTID=0x01200200770978C69A1141439FE559EB459D758000F9A0E3A95BA69146A17C2E80209ADC21&TopicsView=https%3a//my.st.com/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/STM32Java/AllItems.aspx¤tviews=3305]https://my.st.com/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/STM32Java/Flat.aspx?RootFolder=%2fpublic%2fSTe2ecommunities%2fmcu%2fLists%2fSTM32Java%2fFree%20Development%20Tools%20for%20STM32%20Microcontrollers&FolderCTID=0x01200200770978C69A1141439FE559EB459D758000F9A0E3A95BA69146A17C2E80209ADC21&TopicsView=https%3A%2F%2Fmy%2Est%2Ecom%2Fpublic%2FSTe2ecommunities%2Fmcu%2FLists%2FSTM32Java%2FAllItems%2Easpx¤tviews=3305
