Hello,
I want to use DP83848CVV as Ethenet PHY with STM32F207ZET6 in RMII mode. In Schematics (STM3220G_EVAL),there is some resistor of 51 Ohm in between of signals (RMII_REF_CLK,RMII_TX_EN,RMII_TX_D0,RMII_TX_D1,RMII_CRS_DV) connecting Ethernet PHY & STM32. Are they mandatory?? Please share if any body having any idea. Thanks In advance Regards Balmukund Prasad

Hello,
For RMII mode, user have to provide the 50 MHz clock by soldering a 50 MHz oscillator (ref SM7745HEV-50.0M or equivalent) on the U3 footprint located under CN3 and also removing jumper on JP5. This oscillator is not provided with the board. For more details, please refer to STM3220G-EVAL evaluation board User manual (UM1057).
