Dear All,
We are using STM32F107RC microcontroller for our product having an ethernet interface. We are using Eclipse IDE with OpenOCD. Will I be able to use ST-Link or ST-Link/V2 with these utilities for programming and debugging? I checked on web, but the information seems to be contradicting. Thanks, Rajmathi S.

Hello,
I use TASKING (eclipse based IDE and specific compiler) and a ST Link V1 probe for my main current project. But I'd like to try open source toolchain (eclipse + codesourcery + openocd) for other smaller projects.I bought a Bus Blaster V2 JTAG probe for it, it is FT2232H based and seemed to be very well supported by OpenOCD. From my readings, it seems the ST Link drivers are proprietary and specifications are not public, that's why it is not very well supported by Open OCD.Regards,Thomas.Options

Thank you for the reply Thomas, we will probably go ahead with Bus Blaster V2.
Thanks, Rajmathi S.
