I did not understand the need of specific STM32 JAVA devices. What is specific inside these U and J types.

It's a simple matter of pricing ! The 'J' parts come with the price of Java solution pre-included in the parts price.

This being said, the 'J' parts must have something different that is checked by the Java software, to prevent this software from running on any generic part...
