When I make a DFU file from a Hex/S19/BIN file with DFU File Manager, I must input the infomation below:
1.Target ID 2.VID 3.PID 4.Version 5.Target Name My question is what the five infomation means? This is my guess, is this right? 1 > I think that Target ID desided the data will be whrite to where: 00 : Internal Flash 01 : SPI Flash 02 : NOR Flash 03~FF : ? 2 > VID : Vendor ID ? May I set with any number I will? or just the ''0483'' is valid for ST? 3 > PID : Product ID ? May I set with any number I will? or just the ''088D'' is valid for STM3210E-EVAL? 4 > Version : May I set this as I will? 5 > Target Name : May I set this as I will? Thanks. But this document just tell me what those are, and I do more care about wether I can write the VID/PID/Version as I will. For example, if I write 0x0000 for VID, do I meet some trouble? however, thank a lot. [ This message was edited by: wuxiangdong on 21-12-2009 03:12 ]
