How to I remove the initial high speed ramp up of the motor on the potentiometer example?

When running the potetiometer example on the ST motor control workbench, there is an initial ramp up before it settles to the value based on the ADC reading of the potentiometer. Is there a way to remove this so that it always follows the potentiometer?
