- 相机:IMX335(MB1854B模块,根据文档提供原生支持)。
- 固件:已从 STM32N6 固件包中刷新 DCMIPP_ContinuousMode 示例。
- DCMIPP_ContinuousMode示例是否需要修改 ISP-IQTune 兼容性?
- 应该只连接 CN18 (USB1),还是两个 USB 端口都需要?
感谢您的时间和帮助!

Hello everyone!
The question is this:
I’m trying to use the STM32 ISP-IQTune application to read the IMX335 camera data on my PC via the STM32N657X0H3Q board. However, IQTune fails to detect any available COM port. Here’s my setup:
- Hardware:
- Board: STM32N657X0H3Q
- Camera: IMX335 (MB1854B module, natively supported per documentation).
- Firmware: Flashed the DCMIPP_ContinuousMode example from the STM32N6 firmware package.
- Connections:
- Connected both USB ports on the board to the PC (USB-C cables).
- The board shows a red LED blinking, indicating the program is running.
Issue:
Despite the board seemingly functioning, ISP-IQTune shows "No port detected". I’ve verified:
- USB cables support data transfer (tested with other devices).
- STM32CubeIDE drivers are installed.
- IMX335 is listed as a compatible sensor in the ISP-IQTune documentation.
Questions:
- Are there additional steps to enable COM port visibility in ISP-IQTune?
- Could the DCMIPP_ContinuousMode example require modifications for ISP-IQTune compatibility?
- Should only CN18 (USB1) be connected, or are both USB ports necessary?
Thank you for your time and assistance!

Hello @陶铸
Is the COM port visible on the device manager?

It is not visible in Device Manager.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Upon rechecking, we discovered that some pins on the IMX335 modules we purchased differ from the official specifications. Attached are the relevant screenshots—the left image shows the official datasheet, while the right displays the pin definitions of the purchased IMX335 modules, with the discrepancies clearly marked. We suspect this might be the reason why the module is not being detected. If so, we deeply regret any trouble caused by our oversight in the preliminary preparations.
Additionally, we would like to inquire whether it is mandatory to use ST's official camera module, given its high cost. We are exploring alternative solutions, such as:
- If the issue is merely a pin order mismatch, could we rewire the 22 pins from N6 using pin headers and sockets? If connected this way, would it still be possible to read data via USB and IQTune?
- If a custom configuration for a different camera is required, do you have any recommendations? We noticed that the X-CUBE-ISP beginner tutorials provide limited guidance on such adaptations, and we are concerned about potential hardware/software compatibility issues that might hinder image transmission.
Thank you for taking the time to address our concerns. We greatly appreciate your assistance!
