Hello,

When connecting a battery/regulator to the 5V pin of the stm32F4-Discovery ( to power the board), is it safe to use plug the USB to the PC for debugging with ST-Link?

UPDATE:

I just tested this. Used a 7805 ( connected to 5v pin and GND). The circuit appears to be running fine with both the battery and USB cable on.
