RM0091 Rev.9, 30.6.2 Buffer descriptor table, states:
The packet memory should be accessed onlyt by byte (8-bit) or half-word (16-bit) accesses.
Halfword access is OK. Bytewise read is OK. But writing a byte results in it being copied into the other half of the halfword, which this byte is part of, and this is not OK.
Can ST please comment.
