VN9D5D20FN operating with Vcc 5v

Hello,

We are looking to use VN9D5D20FN (SPI management and monitoring) as power distribution solution for our product. There are 4 channels which are fed from common output of a buck converter. The buck has 5V 3.2A max output and that goes into VN9D5D20FN, to be shared across 4 channels.

VN9D5D20FN datasheet specify minimum operating voltage 4V with a recommended operating voltage of 13V. At 5V  we are very close to this min threshold, any considerations?

Thanks.

Hi,

I don't think that 5V is a problem (the undervoltage shutdown limit is 2.7V max.).

You only have to deal with a sightly higher Rds ON (CH 0,1: max. 12.3mOhm, CH2,3: max. 37mOhm  @ 4V, 25°C)
